I recently visited Main Event South Fort Worth at Hulen and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I had high hopes for a fun day out with my family, but the service, food, and overall experience were all terrible. We purchased unlimited access all day and when we asked where we could order food, the cashier said they would send a server. However, one of the staff members was extremely rude and told us they were too busy to help. This was very unprofessional and left a bad taste in our mouths. The pizza we ordered was terrible, it was like eating cardboard. The bussing staff was in a hurry to clean our table and took our food without even asking us if we were finished. We were still playing bowling at the time. When we wanted to go back to the bowling alley, we were told it was full, even though there were multiple lanes open. This was frustrating as we had purchased unlimited access all day and expected to be able to play whenever we wanted. We were there to celebrate my son's birthday, but unfortunately, the staff made the experience horrible. I would not recommend going to this location. The management needs to make some changes and the staff needs to learn proper etiquette to serve customers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I would not visit this location again.

We have been going to this Main Event for almost 10 years and have usually had great experiences. We took our children last night and were extremely disappointed. The employee who walked us to our lane reeked of marijuana so much so that my kids were asking what that smell was. The service was pretty slow and upon receiving our order of loaded fries, we were presented with cold fries with cold shredded cheese on top. My husband respectfully asked the server if we could have the loaded fries we ordered (bacon, sour cream, chives) and she responded in a very annoyed tone, “That’s them.” and didn’t bring a replacement. We kept having to go up to the bar to get service, but waited over 10 minutes as nobody was there. Then the bartender returned smelling very strongly of marijuana. After our game of bowling we went to play games. Both air hockey machines were broken (we realized after swiping our card), the soccer Simpson’s game was broken. My kids were so disappointed they were spending swipes and very few things were in service. We asked 2 employees and they just shrugged and said, “sorry we are short staffed.” We eventually were able to find one employee who comped our kids a ride since many things were out of service. Was very disappointed in the amount of employees who were using drugs at work in a family environment and the level of service we received. We will be going to pinstripes from now on.

Came in here for an hour of bowling. There was a waitlist of 30-45 minutes so we decided to take the kids to the arcade section. We probably waited for 20 minutes when our bowling lane became available. As soon as we started bowling we kept having issues with the lane (lane 4). So for a good 15 minutes we were sitting there waiting for them to fix the issue. After this kept happening time and time again. We decided to tell the gentleman to switch us to another lane. They switched us and added 15 minutes for our lost time. While all this is going on we placed an order for food and drinks. Our bowling time was up and our food still wasn’t there. Then 5 minutes minutes later our food finally showed up. We literally had to rush to eat it because the manager came up to us saying “hey just so y’all know people will be coming to this lane in 10 minutes”. I could have understood this comment if it was our fault and we were just taking our sweet time. But no it was their issues, their messed up lane, their lack of communication with the kitchen. So that really bugged me out. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because of the gentleman that helped us move lanes, that gave us game cards for our sour experience. He was doing way more than management. It looks like they have the wrong people in charge. All in all I wouldn’t return for bowling. Arcade and Pool, maybe.

We had our work Christmas party there and had gotten the everything package. Food, drinks, games, the works. Our group wasn’t a small group we had 30 adults and 10 kids and I just can’t say enough good things to detail the amazing staff and treatment that they provided to my team. Holly was amazing she went above and beyond. Here are a few people I would like to recognize from their staff. Dalton (amazing), Preston (amazing), they helped in every way they could! Even if it might not have been their position. They were so good to my team. Also, there was Eric who helped run the laser tag and just treated everyone so nicely. Jhaila was the first one to greet me and got me setup with things. She also got the ball rolling on some of my requests to make my vision come true! I’m just blown away by the staff, obviously. Anetta (spelling) she’s the GM and when speaking with her, you know why she has amazing staff because she too was quite amazing. Whatever good things could be said should just be attached to this little ramble.

The general manager Anita is one of the worst managers I’ve ever had the experience of knowing. She’s run off a ton of good staff including managers that were incredibly good people and kept staff that treats people terribly. This place is poorly managed and poorly cared about where customers are concerned. She’s also passing around Clamydia to other staff members and customers. It’s disgraceful and gross that they allow this woman to be in charge of anything. This center also has huge water bugs that crawl throughout the entire place, they steal from their employees, and over the summer they had about 20 teens bring in guns and they handled that situation very poorly. Staff and customers were put in danger. Their mic system was down and they did not have people exit the building while trying to get this under control. Instead they kept serving alcohol and letting things run as normal while other employees were terrified and customers concerned. In such a serious event, you would think things would be handled much better but they were not. This center needs a serious change.

Arrived around 11:50 am. Overall, it was a good experience. A few card readers on the games could use some TLC. Also, having an experienced manager overseeing different sections could potentially help it run smoother. Ordered 2 kids' meals: one tenders one pizza. Tenders came out after about 10-15 minutes. Pizza took almost 30 minutes. I had to ask about it twice. They eventually took me 2 slices off a whole pizza for another table. The kids had fun, and they out bowled us on the first time, so overall, good day. There were some rude parents in the prize area, but the worker was respectful and did not let them alter his mood.

Yeah this is a place you take your kids, if you expect to eat like decent food for adults, or have competent service, this ain’t your choice. Obviously a place you would just kinda cave in and buy something cause you’re just… “here” but it’s 100% not worth the money in anyway, the bar staff look so angry and give you least amount of like basic customer service. Super gross food too, like it’s very low quality… it’s like a Chuck E. Cheese kitchen back there, super high processed over priced garage. I’m just so grossed out by the expensiveness of the food and lack of basic guest decency. If your kids beg you to go here, make sure y’all eat at cicis or something before you come otherwise you’re gonna waste your appetite on SUPER expensive garbo.

This is the cleanest Main Event I've ever been to. The games were all working, prize area was well organized and stocked. I went to 3 other main events in the area this past month and they were all a mess. I come for the games and the other ones had broken machines or faulty mechanics in the ticket games. I didn't find one broken or fault machine here. I would take my friends to this one even though the drive is a little further because of how much nicer it is. The manager, Destiny, was super nice as I had to compliment how well maintained the place was. I love arcades and travel and always visit all the arcade and this was one of the best I've visited.

First of all it’s frustrating that the company is not transparent about their prices on their website. The good is that there’s a lot to do and the prices are midpoint. Our visit was on a Saturday night so it was pretty busy. Because we got the all game package we got to play laser, billiard, and bowling almost with no wait in between. However, we had to ask for a server several times even when the bowling lanes weren’t that busy. Then at the end of the game we kept asking for the bill and we got it almost 30 minutes later! Also the restrooms were smelly, didn’t seem they clean them as often as they should. Overall it was a good experience they just need to staff appropriately.

Restaurant area service was ok, but subpar. Wasn't sure where to order and the table service advertised did not seem to exist. We mainly went for the arcade. Multiple games had issues. Including one that took our tokens without letting us play. Staff did not seem very interested in remedying that issue. Also, their app was more or less useless as it did not seem to fully functioning. Overall, the kids and I had a fun outing, but there is definitely plenty of room for improvement.

For anyone trying to book a birthday party at Main Event .. just don't. Seriously it's just a waste of your time. Can't even booked a memorable birthday for my 6 years old without having multiple blocks and stipulations put on me and then being told oh well they booked your party but it was in Georgia! Like seriously? I vonfirmed the location multiple times. And then call back today for them to be like oh yeah sorry it's too last minute and we can't do anything for you. wouldn't be last minute if your damn office picked up the phone 4 days ago when I started all of this!. Ugh just don't seriously. Ok rant over.

Why wouldn't you come celebrate here!!! This place has it ALL!!! We came to celebrate our son's big day & the staff is so amazing. Very friendly,they weren't afraid to be silly & hype up our son while also wishing him a happy birthday They were super enthusiastic when it was time for Lazer tag (phenomenal layout) The prices for the entertainment & arcade games were great + the food here is so fun & tasty not to mention a nice place for adults to relax & grab an adult beverage. Highly recommend coming out for day or night of FUN!!!

Fun place to enjoy with friends but the service was so-so. I could order a sweet tea and food from the bar, but I had to go to 2 different internal drink “stands” to get my tea, and it wasn’t sweet at all. The nachos were pretty good though. The bowling was fun but they cut us off at 1 hour even though we had unlimited bowling thus we didn’t get to finish our game (we had 2 frames to finish) and there was not a count down timer telling us it will reset in xx amount of time. Kinda disappointed, other main events have been better.

I wish I had gotten the name of the girl that helped us when I brought my grandson and his friends there. We had a wonderful experience and the boys had a blast. The lady from the bar made sure we had the right amount of food and was so helpful. The girl at the counter opened up the Eacape game just for the boys and insured they had a good time. What a big overpriced rip off. Slowish help at counter only one person at a time took for ever and they weren't that busy. Not enough employees. Several of the games didn't work right and take your money. Then you have to hunt someone down. The next day we all went to Top Golf and spent less money for the six of us and had a thousand time better day . Not worth it at Main Event.

I’m giving 3 stars bc my 2 previous experience here were pretty good. I’m really disappointed I spent over 15 min and $15 dollars for this. I live less than 5 min from here so my fries should not have been cold/old and the portion should have been slightly bigger. I will not rate lower than 3 stars bc it’s more of a consistency issue as I know the quality exists bc I’ve experienced it before… I just don’t know if I’m willing to waste the time and money on chance again.

Very true of what people are saying about general manager, Anita. She has run off several employees, many of which had been working there for years. Fired multiple managers who were amazing people and did amazing at their jobs. All around horrible woman on a power trip because she’s the manager at a bowling alley. Serious reconsiderations need to be made about the position of general manager at this establishment.

It's a large place with bowling, and arcade games but NEVER enough help. Not worth the aggravation if you as me. The toys the kids win with tickets break easy. I would not say I love it here but there is the opportunity to play pool, laser tag, video games, and bowl. They have a lot of food options and it is not too loud considering all the bells and whistles, etc. The staff is super nice and it is fairly clean. I recommend this place to get in out of the heat and do some fun activities since it is in the mid 90s here with 100% humidity. They also have mulspots where one can sit down if they are not playing games.

We had my son's 20th birthday party here. It was so much fun. The party host was attentive and friendly. Bowling was great. The teens and younger adults loved laser tag and the arcade. Us parents enjoyed the pool tables and shuffle boards games. It my sons girlfriends idea. We had never been here before so we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised to say the least. The food was good. Pricing was good too. Definitely would recommend!

Brought my son to Main Event for the first time to continue his 3rd Birthday festivities. Our server Alyssa was very friendly and awesome. The Rainbow Soda Pop drinks are pretty cool

Staff was friendly and the kids had a lot of fun! We purchased the Fun Pass that includes unlimited bowling, laser tag and billiards. You have to pay extra for arcade games and karaoke. Its kind of a rip off that you have to pay $17 for an hour in addition to having to pay for each song you sing with your arcade card- kids had a blast though! Pizza was delicious, so is their ice cream and bar! A fun night out!

Went to main event for nieces 18th birthday. Had the fajita buffet beans were amazing. Was hoping to get a mix drink but they closed the bar at 6 this day for some reason. Some of the games did not work but over all ok experience.

I’ve been here before and the place was well kept but this time it was pretty gross. Ice cream spilled everywhere drinks and ice all over the floor not to mention the bathrooms were so nasty you pretty much couldn’t use them much less take your child in there. Half of the games didn’t even work either. It looked like no one was on cleanup duty or management just didn’t care.

While bowling game 7 out of 10 at lane 20, staff made us move to another lane and gave lane 20 to two ladies and their kids instead of re-assigning them new lanes. After moving to our new lane, we were not given a new game set. We had to pick up where we left off at game 7. I'll never step through these doors again.

High dollar but the Laser Tag is hard to beat. Nice time frame for the game especially if it's not too Crowded. Video Games have come a long way and$1.50 and up is probably What they're worth. The Concessions On the Other hand are quite ridiculously priced in my Opinion. Though the pizza was tasty at $4.50 One would expect a New York Style Slice, no Such Luck.

We had a great time here! MJ is a phenomenal server and presented us with outstanding service!!! We will definitely be back because of her.

Place is okay. The price they charge for the unlimited activities just doesn’t match. The bowling, for example the bowling part. You okay 1 hour and then they make you stop and out you on the waiting list. Just doesn’t make anything sensed. Family of 4. Can’t even play 2 games in that time.

This place is not just for kids! I enjoy playing all the games with my son and there’s a huge variety of virtual reality games! Food is good for bowling alley food and you gotta try the laser tag! So much fun for the whole family

Donny has to be one of the nicest employees ever! He’s always attentive, polite and nice to us. Regardless if they’re busy, he makes sure make sure one is being taken cared of. Hope management appreciated the employee they have.

Great place to go bowling and not too expensive. They even give you free socks when you forget yours. Of course they are really cheap and have no shape and they’re very uncomfortable but free socks are free socks.

We went bowling. It was fun but dang so expensive. Over $60 for 1 hour of bowling. Just bowling plus shoes for 4 people. I would have gone to City View Lanes if I knew this. We could have bowled for 2 hours for the same price.

This main event is pretty good. Lots of bowling lanes and the arcade has a good variety of games. The spinach artichoke dip is amazing. The only complaint would have to be that the bartender didn't know how to make a Jagerbomb. I got a shot

We had a good time bowling and playing games. The food is far better than your average bowling place food.

Spent over $300 for all access for my kids birthday and they're telling me that I have to pay more, this is after I was told by the manager that everything was taken care of, next time you need to go to Dave and busters

I needed to keep my grandson and my nephew occupied for an hour and a half. This was the perfect answer they had just enough time to play enough games to win tickets to go and buy a small amount of candy.
