Overpriced for absolutely no reason. I had a bad experience here on 2 occasions and I will definitely not be returning. First strike, I bought a hair relaxing kit from the lower floor to relax my hair. The lady that attended to me said they didn’t have any shampoo while washing my hair. She said “it’s only what in my kit they can use”. My hair still had relaxer in. She kept repeating that there’s no shampoo and if mine runs out, there’s nothing she can do. Mind you the kit was N6500 and relaxing was N5000. N11500 and I can’t get a proper wash. Strike 2. I decided to get my nails done. The nail tech said they didn’t have fake nails for toes. A whole salon with a whole store of products right below - no fake nails - Okay. Then we proceeded to get my nails done, this man was using his fingers to apply chrome powder on my nails. I asked if he had an applicator and he said they don’t have it. We spent hours, He did a very shabby job using nail files. What ever happened to electric nail files. I even had streak of uneven chrome powder. I was so unhappy with the final product. Y’all need to buy products you run out of and have customers fill a satisfactory reviews for your workers.

Decided to texturize my hair after years of braving my naturally kinky hair. Just got tired of the shedding and breaking and took the jump. My problem is that not many people understand the concept of texturizing; I want my hair nappy but manageable and I’m glad I met Justina who totally understood. Everyone is nice right from parking till you get a seat. I called earlier to make enquiries but I got wrong information which was nicely corrected. The environment is clean; There’s a shop downstairs and the salon is upstairs. They have a vip area if you’re into that sort of thing. The walls are lined in Louis Vuitton. When I braided my hair some years ago it was the most pain free braiding experience I ever had. The braids lasted long and my edges didn’t suffer. Texturizing cost me ₦7,000.00 (texturizer inclusive) The cost of braiding varies depending on the size.

So I've lived in Surulere for about 11 months now and this is the first time I've done my hair with absolutely zero complaints. They were so professional and did exactly what I wanted. I went in with very damaged hair that needed attention and treatment. I came out with my hair looking like those ladies on the relaxer packs. The wash station was completely comfortable, they advised on what product I should use and this is the first time I truly saw the effect of using Mizani Relaxer. Definitely money and time well spent. The lady really massaged my scalp....spent a lot of time on my hair and the results was just 100% great. I only wish they were active on Social Media cause getting accurate information on them and their services wasn't easy.

I went here to get my Natural hair done . I washed and trimmed the tips. I also had my braids done over the Christmas holiday. It was a good experience they were professional. I was attended to quickly and didn’t mind spending that amount of money to feel pampered.The toilets were clean which I can't say for a lot of salons in Lagos . My only complaint is for the owners. Please make industrial mopping bucket available to the cleaners or give them hand gloves to put on when squeezing the mops . This was a very uncomfortable and bad sight to behold .It goes against health and safety standard even for Nigeria. All in all it was a good experience and I will go back anytime.

Amazing ambience, very thoughtful staff, the decor and environment is so nice!! There’s a hair supply store on the ground floor with a food stand while the saloon is on the first floor. I got a pedicure with free paint and foot massage - 5000 I fixed lashes - 10,000 It was my first time fixing lash extensions so I was a bit worried but the experience was so soothing I actually fell asleep. The only thing that was kinda pricy was the actual fixing of the hair, I got waist length faux locs done for 20,000 Other than that the whole experience was seamless, stressless and stress- relieving. I’m definitely going back there!

This used to be my favorite salon but not anymore. They have no fixed price and stylist force you to do all sort of unneccessary hair treatment because they are paid on commission basis. This ends up making your hair have product overload. The restroom is poorly maintained with no tissue paper or hand dryer working. With the price they charge, they need to do better. The Gel polish i did started coming off the very next day. I will definately not be going back there anytime soon. If you want a nice photoshoot location though, you can use the exterior as it was newly renovated.

Overall, the environment is great and well equipped. I love the variety and quality of hair care products made available for sale. I have mixed feelings about the staff. The key to enjoying this salon is: finding a stylist that is compatible with your hair type and scalp. Once you find one, stick to him/her. However, this can pose a challenge because, the compatible stylist may have one specialty. So, you'll have to switch stylists for a different hairdo - this might not always end well. Oh. The prices are on the high side, but I believe that the results are worth it.

A 1 story building with a hair store on the first floor. For hairdressers and hair enthusiasts, the hair store is place to be in! They have hair accessories, product, weaves , weavons even books. I particularly loved the ambience. The salon itself is very rowdy, with a lot of hairdressers, so if you prefer a quieter scene, might not be the place for you. They have different sections and so many offerings. Might be a bit pricey, but they seem well organized and very helpful.

Make Me Beauty Place is a one stop shop for your beauty needs in Surulere. There is a beauty supply store on the ground floor that sells hair care products, and cosmetics. The top floor is a well equipped hair salon with professional hair stylists. There’s also a nail salon occupying one section on top floor. The members of staff are warm, courteous and professional. The products and services are moderately priced and affordable. Overall excellent salon.

I did retouching. It wasn't done well thogh the hair treatment was great. However since the hair didn't relax well the curls didn't last. I came back a secondbtime jyst for washing and setting it was fair. I did retouching in another salon and I am back for washing and setting again and hoping for better outcomes this time around. If it doesn't work out I may have to look for another salon. The washing stations are however great.

Was not impressed though. Had my hair done once there and wasn't happy at all First,I had my natural hair twisted there and something was applied on my hair that made my hair turn white . Second,I came again about 5 days ago to make an enquiry about trimming my cuts and tonging afterwards, but the lady that attended to me didn't even care to listen to exactly what I wanted......she was kinda cold

Easy to locate and quick service delivery. Polite and patient staff. Service is also not limited to hair dressing. Manicure and pedicure is available and they have a shop on the ground floor where you can get hair accessories and other beauty products. There is also parking but parking can be difficult in the afternoon as the parking space is not large. The toilets are also clean.

I loved the experience so much. The hair dresser made sure the pating was at the center and i really appreciated it. I showed them a picture of the curls and they immediately knew what roller to use. The price is worth it and there are toast bread and drinks with different hair accessories and hair extension to use like a hair shop. In all, i really love it.

Great place for all hair types in Lagos. If you are fortunate to meet a great stylist that understands your hair, I recommend to maintain the contact when next you go back. I met an amazing hair stylist there named Justina who understands natural hair care. She is the best and the reason I keep going back.

I like Make Me. Pros: The set up is great and the stylists are pretty good at what they do. Cons: Parking can be quite tricky especially on the weekends. Also it can be a bit expensive. All in all, I would definitely recommend. The cons can be remedied - have money and walk lol.

The best hair saloon that i have ever been too. big , spacious and with modern facilities. The manager knows her onions while the workers are at their best. The price is a little above average but the shop is quite pricey. I was so impressed with the management of the facility

They are so disorganized, and the Manager is so rude and unwelcoming. The staff all looking out for they’re own interest. This is my second time going there and my experience just got worse. I left without getting any service after being there for 2 hours.

They are the bomb. Personally I keep a natural hair, I wasn't so sure about the place at first but after my visit, I am sure to come again and again and again. They were really gentle with my hair and retained it's texture and curls. Loved it

The manager was really nice and responsive to my questions. I had gone for an errand there and from calling my boss to confirming what she wanted for her hair, the manager was patiently waiting till I was done and attended to me promptly.

Nice place with different beauty parlour.. warm reception but my reservation is that it is often overcrowded without adequate waiting lounge..

They make mistakes and they have a lot to improve on, but they are ready to fix their mistakes, and that is their best quality in my opinion.

Better organised and more professional post-COVID. Improved ambience and additional services. Really well run. Highly recommended.
