""Its closing down though!! To build more condos and ppl are on housing waiting list!!! The Mall just needs some more stores"
"Ooooh the childhood memories! I remember coming here when I was very little and have not been back since - until a week ago"
"It's a decent mall there's not very much there You can get some decent food, ( I like Panda personally) clothes, a couple of cheap stores"
"Easily accessible by public or private transit and has an array of clothing, haberdashery, utilitarian, fast food, groceries and social service offerings for the community"
"Decent"
"Its closing down though!! To build more condos and ppl are on housing waiting list!!! The Mall just needs some more stores. But the right ones that will make sense to the Community over there. I use to go there, just to go back and it's almost empty. Sad!!... I was then informed its closing down⁉️ it's like they wanna turn Canada into a little New York. "Big buildings and condos, Filled with homeless Beings with children and addict's and abandoned "condos/buildings!" Then bring in the robots as Humans can't get hired. Due to the ppl on payroll "Not the owner!!!" The employees who help mentally disrupt Innocent trying Beings lives!!!!... Overall! Malvern Mall
Ooooh the childhood memories! I remember coming here when I was very little and have not been back since - until a week ago. This is essentially a dead mall and it is stick in the 1980s with that classic mauve and mint green colour scheme. It is comprised almost entirely of little independent retailers and has a tiny food court..it is currently anchored by Labels where I think once upon a time there was a Zellers. Remember Zellers? There is a Planet Fitness on site and a downstairs that leads to a little strip of retailers out the back. An old, unupdated McDonald's with outside access. Weird, time capsule mall.
It's a decent mall there's not very much there You can get some decent food, ( I like Panda personally) clothes, a couple of cheap stores. The biggest draw to this mall I would say would be the gym. In the food court there's also a lot of old people hanging out. The mall is all right if you live in the area but I wouldn't travel to it. Well maybe for Panda's food. I haven't been there in a while so I apologize if I missed anything new.
Easily accessible by public or private transit and has an array of clothing, haberdashery, utilitarian, fast food, groceries and social service offerings for the community. Lots of parking is available also. The prices in the stores are also reasonable and the variety sufficiently reflects the low-cost of most items. Nice, low-key hang out spot if you just want to eat or muse without the noise or fuss of a more urban mall.
Decent. But here’s a few problems. The mall could’ve been bigger, and there’s not that many stores in there. And it’s Kinda depressing when you look up. But they added some Christmas things to it to make it look like a regular mall. It 100% looks like a abandoned mall but it’s somehow still not closed forever. Also makes me very uncomfortable whenever I go there, so, it’s a Par for the course. 3 out of 5 stars from me.
Malvern Town Center is a great place to go if you are in a hurry. I don't go to this mall often because I rarely find the stores that I often frequent. Malvern Town Center is a great place to go if you are looking for a short-term stop for groceries, the pharmacy, or coffee. It has all the basic necessities inside but without a variety of choices.
Nice place for families. Got good halal food and 2 bubble tea shops. Could do better with more food options though. Stores are fine. Has a good quality dollar store that might be better than Dollarama. The Chinese grocery Freshland is excellent in quality. Overall, a descent place to get most of the regular shopping done. Nothing fancy though
I hate this mall. Over the years, despite the fact that the Malvern area has grown and developed, the quality of the mall has steadily diminished; just very poorly managed and a lot of missed revenue potential. The mall desperately needs a refresh - new, better stores and a cleaner, more modern look would better serve the community's needs.
Quiet and Calm shopping. Lots of shops with ample choices. Sad that they are planning to close this down. If only the Govt, could step in and keep this place active. This place has Health center, Bank, New comer support, Eat-outs, Grocery, Gym, Clothes, Service Canada. In short this mall can support he whole neighborhood.
I like this mall very much. It is clean and has many stores like grocery, fast food, clothing and electronic. There is an area in the Centre where we can sit and relax. Macdonald's, KFC and Subway are there. Staff are friendly and helpful in the stores. Most of the clothing stores have summer offer going on. Thank you:)
It’s a decent mall with lot of local stores. Real fruit juice and Kin kin bakery is good. There are 2 dollar stores and you get really good bargains, especially in the unlimited bargains store. Macdonalds, Taco Bell, flame shawarma are some of the good restaurants in it. Food court is ok. It has Scotiabank as well.
The architecture of the mall itself is actually kind of nice. The stores do need a lot of work though. I was really sad to see the good stores all gradually close down. You know it’s bad when the dental office there is rarely ever open. The only reason this mall is still alive is the high school that’s nearby.
The mall is decent, got some of the staple food places like a McDonald's, a pizza pizza, a KFC/tacobell. Some of the better places to eat in my opinion are at the back of the mall outside, there is a good wings place(YUM). Some of the big name stores but it seems to be a lot more independent stores.
My first mall I visited in Canada arrival. How can I forget this mall. In 23 years slight changes occured. No frills moved one block from mall separated. Mall has lots of small business owners. Still beautiful 23 years after. Very close to Malvern recreational center and Malvern church. Love it
I went there recently after about 17 years still a good mall i remember there being more clothing stores back then but the few that are left still sell name brand clothing at a fair price there needs to be more clothing stores like in the old ays but other than that its a decent mall still
No name stores except McDonald's. No Frills and Shoppers Drug Mart opened a block away. A new supermarket is opening soon. If you like the stores, atmosphere or live close by then you will probably go there. For me I prefer Scarborough Town Centre. It is clean inside and well kept.
Incredible bland and not to taste, especially in clothing. Always closed shops in middle of the day, maybe add more things? It’s too boring. Only here for food but now my friends and I don’t go here at all despite the closer distance- would rather go to circle K.
Just so sad. Used to go there everyday for lunch at mama's pizza with my dad while I was in high school. Now it's a shell of a mall, selling same stuff for past 5 years. Only good thing about this place is "panda" in the food court. Not worth stopping at anymore
Freshland is massive! Really glad they made it clean, nice and bright. Cash registers are a bit slow. Prices are pretty good. Meats are pretty fresh. Bakery could use a little more work! Fresh food looked good. Fruits are pretty good too. Will be going back!
Plenty of parking as the mall is empty The only business thriving is the nails to go and Taco Bell Nails to go are really good a must visit for feet, hands and a facial. Both my wife and I use them occasionally They are busy be prepared to wait for a bit
Went to service Canada to apply for Passport in this location and it’s about an hour wait overall it’s good..if you need your passport fast go to Passport office not to service Canada you can apply here but it will take longer time to receive it.
Malvern Mall is a fantastic shopping destination that offers an exceptional experience from the moment you step through its doors. The staff's warm hospitality and vast knowledge create a welcoming environment, making visitors feel valued
Its okay but dont know why such a big space and beautiful Mall does not serve any purpose. Most of the shops inside are not up to the date and we are left with less options. Can we have more good brands and happening shops here please !
Good place for a quick shopping trip, with a variety of stores and booths featuring clothes, shoes, electronics and much more. There are some great bargains. There's a McDonald's and a food court with lots of seating if you're hungry.
Decent beginner gym, the weight room is really small and not enough weights for when it gets busier. Be prepared to wait around a lot during busier times. Staff is nice and helpful and it's funny when they press the "Lunk" alarm LOL
Love that there's always lots of parking, otherwise the stores are meh, usually some interesting individuals hanging out around here. I'm not a fan of Malvern but if you need a coffee there's a MacDonald's here.
This is the first mall I‘ve visited so far since relocating to Canada and it was so lovely. It gave off vintage, nostalgic vibes and I loved it. Reading that it will be demolished soon makes me really sad
Good Mall, a lot of shops to shop. They have a couple of dollar stores and a grocery store. Also a very nice food options like McDonald, pizza pizza and taco bell. Overall I enjoy going to this Mall.
Big mall. Unfortunately, many shops are closed and gone. On the other hand, many location opportunities for new businesses and good size mall for indoor walking with no stairs/elevators/escalators.
They have great shopping options and planet fitness. Supposedly the one and only for Scarborough people. The Asian supermarket is a great place for meat shopping.
This mall has come a long way since I first visited. The stores are all slowly improving in variety and it has all the necessities of a small size mall.
Don't know how this place survives but definitely a good migrant camp for newcomers and elderly. I like the food court and that's about it.
Fully equipped fitness center with one on one class when you book ahead. The staff are courteous. I love the place, and it's very neat.
It's sad that this mall is slated for demolition. It's a quaint little place with local vendors and large chains. Clean, easy to walk.
This is honestly not a town centre this is literally a small time market place with stores no one knows. Only good thing is HONG food
This is one of the best malls you can get......the clothing store are amazing especially Jason Jackson they have the best suits
You do not have tim hortons or an alternative to coffee stall except for one in the extreme corner. This mall is always empty
Great centre! Excellent mall. Please keep this mall in place. If you change it, please include heavy community consultation.
Malvern mall needs to get a facelift. It still has decent stores, but those stores look better than the mall corridors.
Have a great dollar store. Mall is rarely busy during the week. Many stores target for people with a right budget.
Good plaza with lot of facilities such as scotiabank , service canada and food stores and shopping stores as well
I always found Malvern town center very useful for me they have variety of store in side and food court too
very quiet inside,we stop by because it will be gone soon, food is very cheap in the food court.
Super nice mall, a lot of people but nice atmosphere and almost everyone is welcoming.
My school is right near it to I go everyday it's pretty old but hold a lot of memories
Alot of no name brand stores, food court is very limited, food wise and seating.
Freshland It has an excellent assortment and also has a very varied food center
Good shoe shops.. dollar store is also fun for kids toys and stationery items..
Good place for the house hold shopping with low prices and affordable rates.
Great place with variety that keep the soul and stomach …
It's an old mall but it's great for the deals available in the mall.
Not a big mall but you can find a lot great deals from most stores.
This place is depressing, no idea how these stores remain open.
Best place for shopping alots of sales going on... …
Convenient shopping centre with lots of different options.
Old SHOPPING mall aaaaaaaaaaaaamostely SHOPS ARE ACLOSED
Good reasonable price very slow not much people shopping
Real fruit bubble tea there is a worst customer servoce
Has few stores inside the mall. Has an asian market.
Run down mall with very little going for it.
Best place for shopping in affordable prices
Everything are very cheap and good for life
Very very good...reasonable prices too..
One of the best malls in scarborough
Good one. Less shops. Cheap price.
Hardly any good stores.
