Since moving to Amsterdam from NYC in March, we have used Man and Van many, many times. Our first experience was when we moved out of our sublet to our forever home. They were on time, super friendly, and got the job done efficiently (and didn't complain when we had no hook access at the destination and had to use the stairs). Since then we have used them numerous times. They met us at Ikea to pick up a ton of furniture and brought it to our flat (again, stairs). They picked up our massive, heavy, L-shaped couch (with foldout bed) and brought it to Rataplan. They've done facebook marketplace pick-ups for us. They are our go-to. Every time it's an excellent experience. Always on time, always friendly, and they speak perfect English. Highest recommendations!

TL;DR: On-time, super friendly, organized and efficient. Will absolutely use them again and recommend to friends. Love these two guys! In less than 24 hours, I scheduled a pickup from IKEA delivering to my apartment in Oud-West. Because my stairwell is too small, I needed a lift which they also scheduled on my behalf. The “Van” (Oliver) showed up 10 minutes early to our schedule IKEA pick up time. He also helped speak Dutch to the IKEA folks to help expedite my pick up order. The “Man” (Alex) was waiting for us when we arrived to my apartment— already scoped out where to park the van/truck. Super friendly and tons of smiles as they coordinated everything.

We had to transport one heavy table from one house to the next. At first it was difficult to agree on a date and time, they promised to call me back all the time and didn’t do it. In the end, when the workers arrived, it was two students and they didn't have any tools with them to disassemble the table. Then, when the work was done, they charged us 100 euros for transporting just one table to a neighboring house without using a car. It's expensive or not, decide for yourself. But we did not expect such a sum. We will not recommend them

Joshua en zijn kompanen hebben ons geweldig geholpen met de verhuizing vanuit onze woonark. Goede communicatie, zelfs last minute een extra verhuizer en wagen geen probleem. De organisatie en zorgvuldigheid van de dag zelf waren perfect geregeld. De spullen werden verdeeld, een deel naar een opslag en een deel naar een tussenhuis. Geen probleem gelukkig en alles perfect op z’n plek terecht gekomen. Wanneer we naar ons verbouwde huis gaan doen we dit zeker weer met Joshua en zijn crew. Hoogst aanbevolen.

Vriendelijk en met veel aandacht voor zorg voor de spullen en de pas gestucte muren. Helemaal top! Een punt van kritiek is dat we rekening hadden gehouden dat 3 mannen kwamen, maar na 1 uur is de 3e zonder iets te melden weggegaan waardoor we zelf veel moesten tillen. Dit is dan ook netjes verrekend met de pijs. Ik zou ze opnieuw boeken!

Price changed from quote and increased on the day. Refusal to provide invoice / receipt for payment despite several requests. This is a review of the business owner. The employee that helped on moving day was great, however I would not deal with this business again as the owner is untrustworthy.

The kindness and professionalism in saving us last minute In a stressful situation was unmatched. Understanding, realist and very well communicated; a service unparalleled. No frills, very reasonable, and bonus being an easy easy going driver. Cannot recommend enough!

Goede communicatie gehad met hen via Whatsapp en alles verliep heel vlot! Vriendelijke verhuizer die ons echt goed heeft geholpen. Bij een volgende verhuis maken we er zeker opnieuw gebruik van!

Not recommended. Very poor customer service. They don't respect time, cancels last minute, comes 5 hours late.
