Be warned… Don’t go if it’s going to be busy -especially this time of year. We were warned by wait staff as we sat down that we had to get our orders in before the large party group … so we did.. entree and mains -this was at 6.45pm…entrees finally arrived at around 7.20… then by 8.30 when the four of us noticed other guests who ordered after us receiving their mains we asked where ours was. The response was ‘ well we are busy so you should have ordered earlier’. We said we had been here for 2 hours already. Basically they had forgotten our order but no apologies. The mains arrived at 8.45. A few minutes later a waitress came to the table and said we could have a drink on the house - we had already had a couple of drinks while waiting but said ok. Then one of those was not delivered as well! A discount off the bill would have been more appropriate. Concerning that there’s a young boy (looks about 10) preparing drinks in the bar area??!

Worst Pad Thai EVER. It tasted like a jarred sauce from the supermarket, not even a slice of lemon! Pad thai is my GO TO, and I have never had it without lemon. Overly sweet, just awful. The spring rolls were over cooked..Terrible date night food, would not recommend. Also, the prices on the menu we had were incorrect, they then charged us the new price (despite the menu price being lower). Never again. What a nightmare.

Thai style restaurant with square table but no round table as Asian restaurant. Food was ok but portions small. Car park is full with only one disabled parking ️ at night time. Bailey icecream is the best of highly recommended

Food was nice, poor service. Meals all came out at different times, half the table had their meal and the rest had to wait. By the time the other meals came out everyone else was finished eating. Kids meals same price as adult meals.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in South Australia. My favourite anyway. The food is AMAZING, lovely atmosphere. Can I say, the wait staff are perfect. They serve you, come back & ask if you are enjoying your meal & then leave you alone. Waiting on tables is a hard job & the staff at Mangosteen are second to none. Highly recommended & will be there this Friday for my birthday. ❤️ this place

Wonderful food! Loved the meal- tasty, fresh & perfect size serves. Great wine to have with our meals. Atmosphere charming & we could hold a conversation without needing to raise our voices over a din or the clatter of kitchen, crockery or the other customers - whichis oftenthecasein other places! We’ll be going again - Mangostene is our new top choice for dining out .

This restaurant use to be really good, not sure if it's changed hands or it's different cooks but the food was sweet, cheap and nasty like take away plus a main meal should naturally include greens but it didn't, you have to pay extra. Definitely lost us as customers. Shame

We had a lovely banquet last night. I should have a photo of the entree plate. But we ate it quickly and really enjoyed it. Entree was beef satay and prawns and papaya salad. All the other food from the banquet are here. We all really enjoyed it. We also had part of our wedding here last year. It was fantastic. Great service. All the girls are lovely. Only ever had takeaway but it's one of the better places around the area. Get take away somewhat regular and it's always excellent. Not tried all the dishes yet but cold rolls, spring rolls, chicken skewers, cashew chicken, masaman and the fried rice are top notch! My wife has eaten in before and has always liked it too.

This is an amazing place to dine in I love the butter chicken the quality of the food is amazing but the taste is even better. Every time I have been here I get the butter chicken which is delicious, so if you go here I recommend the butter chicken. Go to this restaurant now. This is my go to dine in place.

It was good experience that I had chance to have dinner at Magosteen. Great atmosphere at restaurant and staff was quite nice, food were pretty much average Thai fusion food. Portion size were just enough.

Pretty good experience. Very busy place on weekends so book early. Good ambience to the place, food & drink offering is fantastic but some serves we recieved were on the smaller side considering normal mains. Get in early to order as the wait time can be lengthy on the busy nights but like i said a good overall experience

First ever visit to Mangosteen with my husband for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Asian flavours. We ordered the Beef Rendang and Chicken Amok curry. Highly recommend both. Will definitely eat here again.

My first time at this restaurant. I was disappointed with the food, it was plain with two much sauce in the dish. I cook better myself at home. The two serves of fried rice (for five people) were very small, but still the best part of my meal. Overall there was no crispness or freshness to the food.

My husband and I dropped in for a bite to eat on Wednesday evening. We were warmly greeted and received friendly, efficient service. The food was delicious. We will be back, with our family in tow, to sample many more of the delicious sounding meals (and desserts) on offer. Highly recommend.

There were 6 of us and we had the $38 banquet and it was absolutely beautiful. Everything was delicious.....the salt and pepper prawns and massaman beef were standouts! Pad Thai was excellent too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Food, service, and ambience were very good, but the venue is all hard surfaces, so it can be very noisy for the hearing impaired when busy.

Had a great meal there with another couple. My first visit, I got the impression that it was usually very busy. The food was fresh, flavoursome and came out of the kitchen quickly despite it being a busy Friday night. I'm looking forward to going again.

The staff were very nice, but the food was as dry as a dead dingos donga. Very disappointed. Mattradie tried to blame it onto a new deep frier and the new cook not being accustomed to it.

First time here in quite some time interior has been redone from the last time I was in the service is good but quite slow at getting to you they need more available hands for the busier period food was nice not as good as some other places

Ordered at 7:38pm, heaps of tables got their food and left before ours even came out. Food finally came out at 8:25! Ridiculous waiting almost hour for what was the tiniest serving of food. My partner got the crispy chicken and there was 8

Reliably great food, and fantastic service. Take away is great too. The acoustics of this lovely building could be better. Sometimes it gets difficult to carry on a conversation due to the noise, but otherwise it's great.

Sensational grilled barramundi.. the menu was delicious! Staff was lovely and nice choice of red wines. Will dine in or take away there again!

This place had friendly and fantastic service. Food was wonderful, definitely went for quality over quantity. My only problem was that this place was very expensive. If you got the money, it's worth it.

I've never come across a restaurant with staff so lovely Nothing bothered them, always smiling and friendly. The food is great too. Definitely recommend it and will definitely go back.
