My first experience at this place and it was amazing . Fish! fish ! I badly wanted to try something with fish alone and nothing else , whilst I went through the Menu I selected the Fish and Chips option. First you need to select the type of fish , then what kind of sauce you need to add , then if you wish you can add Calamari or prawns if you need along with more options to select. The wait was kinda long till the dish arrived but it was the worth it . The waiter put a tissue kinda paper on the table which had the food map I'd say where they put the fish and chips on the center marked circle. Next we have to get the ketchups by our own and place it on the tissue paper with the sauce bowl as the correct name depicted so you won't forget what kind of sauce you had. I got the BBq tartar and original Tartar which was perfect with the fish n chips. Moving on the fish n chips was a big fat portion , the skin was soo deep and the flesh was perfectly fried . Through out my meal I was thinking if I was eating a chicken because it was soo perfectly cooked and fried . If your a fish lover trust me you will just enjoy this meal and you won't talk to anyone while you eat this dish. The chips were perfectly fried in circle kinda shapes . Dipping the chips in the sauce and munching it first place was soo nice. Next the Beverage , I asked them whats the best beverage that goes with this and they advised me to get the Lime and Mint . Perfect choice for the fish n chips which keeps you refreshed through out the meal to eat more and quench your thirst.

Me and my friends ended our busy day by going to Manhattan Fish Market in the One Galle Face mall. As we walked around the mall, we noticed this restaurant because it had a bright yellow outside that caught our eye. We were excited and ordered different dishes, but I can't remember the name of the dishes I ordered. A worker used a special tool that blows fire to make it taste different. But I didn't really like the strong burnt taste it had. On a better note, I chose a drink called "Happiness Infusion" from their menu, and it was really good. It was refreshing and tasty, and I had no complaints about it. The prices were a bit high, but I think that's because they use good seafood in their food. Also, when we got the bill, there was an extra charge for service and a tax of 15%. The restaurant feels nice and friendly, which makes it a calm and relaxing place. They also keep the place clean and tidy.

The food was as usual. We got soup of the day, which was the cream of mushroom. It was nice. Then we got the fried chicken, and a mix plater which had dory, cuttle fish, prawns and lots of chips. The food in general was mild in flavor. We also orders vanilla, oreo and a sweet alabama. The seet alabama was very good and very peanutty. I love the sauce options they have. The service was excellent and they are very attentive. The value for money in this place is not that great. The prices are a bit on the high side and on top you get 10% service charge and 15% VAT. Which increases the cost significantly higher. For 5 people we spent around 18k. If you eat at one gallface make sure to get your one gallface points. You will get 10% in value return. You can use it for parking fees via the app.

The restaurant is located in the ground floor food court area. This place offers almost all the sea food options to have. Good seating spaces and cozy setup. Food was good in taste, but the deep fried chips and sea food items were a bit too oily. Also, the grilled chicken had more skin than the actual chicken. But mocktails and drinks are fairly good. Also, expect a bit of wait after ordering. The prices are very high since they add 10% service charge and 15% VAT onto the bill. It's not the best cost-effective option as far as dining goes. Also, it raises a question of whether the food is really worthy of the value. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good place to have a bite to eat every once in a while.

Very disappointed with how the establishment is run. I stopped by for lunch today and ordered fish and chips. As part of the meal I opted for a salad and Tatar sauce. The salad that accompanied was a few cut lettuce leaves. When I inquired, the manager said that the ‘salad’ that comes with fish and chips is just lettuce leaves and that the waiter should’ve explained that to me, for which he apologised. He promised to send me some ‘salad’ which never arrived. When I asked about a dressing for the salad, he suggested that I use the Tatar sauce ‍♂️ Why would a restaurant give just a few salad leaves and call it a salad?

I was craving fish and chips so decided to visit the MFM at One Galle Face. For a starter, we ordered Fried Calamari, which accompanied a spicy tomato sauce which I really liked. For mains, both of us ordered Dory, while I chose the Garlic Rice and my partner chose the hand cut chips, which is just like the crisps you get in packs. We ordered one Melon Breeze and one Gummy Bear for beverages. The bill came up to little over 7k, and quality of the food and general service was worth the bill. One difference we noticed from the other guests is because we chose fish and chips, our food was laid out on a parchment sheet rather than served on plates. Unique concept but no complaints!

I ordered the fish and chips. The food named "Dory" In my food, there was a thick thread piece inside the butter prawn rice. I told them about this, but they didn't apologize in a good way. Their customer service was poor. But anyhow the Food was good. & the environment was also great. But the prices were all High and the portion was not enough for a person. And also they charged a 25% additional charges for VAT and some other charges, There was noting in that fish it was just plain, No flavours in the fish just the crispiness of the batter No any special flavours for their dish names

I think they should cover the full seafood range. Every time I checked lobsters dish was missing. A bad incident I had with them was I requested a takeaway and upon checking at home I found it wasn't what I ordered. It was from the Galle road location, I didn't want to put the worker guy in trouble complaining but they should better listen to the need of the customer.

I went expecting my same old favourite fish and chips turned out biggest mistake of my life I order Cream Cracker battered fish. Its actual pieces of cream cracker on the batter making it harder to bite and ruining the taste of the fish as well. Order preparing time was horrible. I daw my dish was ready on the counter after 20 mins of waiting and cant find a person to get it for me. Maybe since it was a weekend. Drinks are good as always and the new interior is lovely. I wish the food was the same. Like the concept of unlimited sour cream and others but dont like the concept of eating on a piece of paper on the table. Messy Miss my chips , small salad and good fish

Very disappointing experience. I had high expectations because of the name of the restaurant, the look of the menu and its offering, and the prices but once I got my order I totally regretted it. I ordered one of the “local delights” the Coconut Theeyal Curry with fish. As soon as the waiter brought my dish I could smell the strong smell of Maggie cubes or Ajinomoto. And after finishing my dinner I got stuck with that taste for a long while. Whatever seasoning they used it was nothing fresh and natural. Can’t believe they call this a “local delight.” It’s far better to order rice and curry in a street food restaurant than anything at this ridiculously overpriced place. Stay away!

Staff also was very friendly. We went for a sharing platter - flaming seafood platter , it was Rs. 3450 which comes with some rice, prawns, mussels, cuttlefish, vegetables and a big portion of a fish, and of cause some crispy chips. Over all the taste was good and the portion also was enough for the two of us. But i must say it was a bit too oily. Other than that, the dish was awesome! Tips If you are visiting their spot at one gall face, make sure to be there before 9.30pm,they will not welcome guests after that. If you go as a group, its better to get sharing platters than individual meals. Also, they have some nice dips, try them with the fish.

I visited this place after my 5 year old daughter has asked to eat Seafood for the first time. Both my children (son 2 and daughter 5) enjoyed the food and the ambience is amazing. We ate grilled fish and grilled prawn with garlic rice. We are coming back tomorrow again for sure to try more varieties.

Visited to colpetty outlet. Taste of food is OK, but less qty (when comparing to the price), and very poor service (on a Wednesday around 7pm) made my first experience a bitter one. No one came to take the order, and we were waiting for sometime for someone to come. After the starter again we waited for around 20 minutes to someone to come and take the main order, and waited for around 40 minutes to get it. Also wash room was not clean. They had variety of food, in the menu, wanted to taste more but because of the service we didn't try the others. Even we went some other place to get our deserts.

One of the best fish dishes I have tasted. I would recommend to order plate by plate instead of ordering all at once. Their customer service is very good. The service was good, Most of them were Helpful and friendly. I ordered a Gummy Bear drink which was really good but drinks are not what we go to MFM for ! So, I ordered a Fish n chips, Fish was nicely battered, It was hot n crispy and delicious with tartar cream. But I really didn’t like the chips. When I think of fish n chips, I expect to get nicely cut long fries along with my fish not thin cut oily round chips which didn’t taste good at all. Hope they would change back to original fries Instead of this cheap quality round chips.

The worst fish and chips (fish & crisp) shop ever from my experience. It is even nowhere near to street fish & chip shops in the UK. Here, they serve fried crisp, not chips. Batter of the fish, calamari and prawns were so disgusting and very very oilly. I felt like throwing out. I also ordered a salad, and it was nothing but one variety of leaves and raisins with little sauce. It is just waste of money and time paying for their dishes. You better go for any other fine dinning.

This is a good restaurant if you're dining in. But if you wanna take out, don't ask for it or pay. Tell them you wanna dine in, have them bring the food over and then ask them to pack it and pay. Because they really lower the quality/portions if it's take out. Really disappointed with that but apart from that it's good. This meal on the photo was 2000 ish and was NOT worth it. (photo was taken after eating half the fish fillet but not the rice so this is what they gave for 1990). This is why the restaurants here will always disappoint. No loyalty/consistency towards the customers.

The food was amazing in the Manhattan fish Market. I had crispy chicken wrap and creamy chicken pasta which was cooked beautifully and the taste, flavours and the portion you get is good. The service was good as well The communication from the team working here was good because their menu is just cramped with a variety of items you need to have a chat with the team working here to know which is good and better. Inside the seating area is clean and well maintained and the ambiance was good. Overall a good place to have some delicious food and highly recommend too

The staff here needs to keep track of their customers’ payments and communicate it among themselves. We settled the bill to one of their FishHeads and left. Then once we headed out, we were approached by one of their staff members and questioned whether we settled the bill. It’s quite annoying when such a thing happens. Then the staff member left without any apology. Annoying indeed. Would I ever return to this place at OGF or any of their outlets anywhere based on this experience? Never.

It is a good place to taste the seefood. Located at the lower ground floor close to the food studio. As of now, we have visited the place twice. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We have ordered Fish & Chips based on the special offer. Probably it was in the rush hour the cutlery was not brought in and we had to inquire. Fish was Nicely fried and very tasty and great portions. Chips was not French Fries. Instead Tapioca Chips were served and no broccoli, probably due to price issues which was a big let down as they served proper french fries in other parts of the world. Hence the 4 stars. Service was ok and place is excellent.

Exceptional service. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel well taken care of. Big thumbs up for both awesome food quantity and great customer service!

Ok To be honest not a big Fish Fan..Drinks, starters and soups are pretty good. But pasta specially with sea food with clams...Apoooo thama...it smelled pretty bad and felt like vomit. Not sure whether it was the cheese or mix of sea food. But Aiyoooo thama. Not suitable for middle class members coz prices are above normal daily government wages . Might be suitable for the Italian pasta foodies out there...please do have a visit.

Love the atmosphere.. staff was so friendly specially who has served us (movindu) .. but I’m not happy with the biriyani.. but almost everything is fine.. and lovely thank you good luck!

Very pleasant and cozy place. The staff here is very helpful and offered the best possible service. Especially the manager Mr Ruwan changed the dishes to our liking on our request. This is a must visit this place to have some delicious food.

Rice has to be cooked well ..when we suggested one of the staff mentioned this is how srilankan cooking is which was not a proper answer...product was fresh but no flavor..we had to finish tye food wirh tye sauce served which was very good...the guy who served was very humble .

Initial impression was the portion is too small for a person. But it was morethan enough. We ordered single platter (seafood & a chicken &seafood) & biriyani. I would recommend seafood biriyani.

I'm in Colombo for business reasons, being very close to the work poato we always have lunch nice mall. Several days a week we take the lunch at Manhattan fish market. The staff and specific Mr. Sandaruwan is very courteous and the dishes are delicious.

Just dropped by to have a quick snack and the food was so lovely. Tried out the chicken wings and a lemon calamansi drink. Both the food and the drink was super delicious. Me and a Friend dropped by to have some drinks here and they were so good! The waiter movindu was super friendly and provided really good service. The decos were also nicely done and the santa hats on the waiters gave off a very festive vibe!!

If you want to variety of food cooked around fish, this is the place to go. Located right next to the main food studio of the One Galleface shopping mall. We ordered platter of appetizers and Cancun chicken spaghetti. Food is really tasty. Service is good. Enough seating space and usually not crowded. Highly recommended.

Отвратительная еда, картофельное пюре это просто клейстер, качество рыбы тоже бы проверить на наличие гельминтов, очень непонятные включения были. Самое вкусное был чай с мятой из пакетика. Помимо 10% к счету прибавляют ещё 15% как городской налог, после разбирательств, его убрали из конечной стоимости. Не рекомендую!

Отличный ресторан. Съели очень вкусный грибной суп и рыбный ролл. Цены достаточно высокие как и везде тут. Но было вкусно. Два супа, один ролл, чай и пепси обошлись в 4850. Никакого доп налога не взяли, только 10% за обслуживание

Ordered Fish & Chips, Calamari and Grilled Chicken with Shrimps. Drinks Tropical Breeze and Sweet Alabama. Can't fault the food. Nicely fried and very tasty and great portions. Chips was not French Fries. Instead Tapioca Chips were served ,which was a big let down. Hence the 4 stars. Service and place excellent.

Best place to have different sea food items on spot ✨A bit pricy for some but the taste is excellent , blue lagoon is our favorite drink , being there for 3 days the past few weeks and we will keep this place in our top 10 favorite list for our lunch out ...

It’s my second time here, wanted to give a second chance. But sadly was very disappointed this time too. chicken was burnt, chips was burned and so oily. Not worth the price at all. Do not suggest chicken and chips from here. you’ll get better chicken and chips for better prices from various other places.
