When manis cafe came in thane from matunga and mulund , i was glad that i visited it thrice a week. It has very good filter coffee and best cold coffee. Coming to dosa, day by day the size/ diameter of dosa kept on decreasing. Be it any dosa , matki or pizza or gini. The size of any dosa is small thane what we regularly eat at any place. Next taste . Best taste and good quality of food was used first .Now as it has gained popularity the make the dosa anyhow and serve quickly. They argue and the chef's are rude, along with the counter person. It had open kitchen so you can actually see what they are puting inside. They have two blocks of cheese amul and govardhan. Half of the time they put govardhan only.Only if you tell them they will put amil cheese. Cheese dosa one /two month back was 5/5 and cheese dosa now is 1/5. Not happy now.

One would be a fool of he passes by Mani's and doesn't stop for a bite. Filter coffee is something you should mandatorily order while deciding what next to be ordered. Right from Idli Chutney Sambhar to Gini Dosa or anything else that shows on their menu. You order anything it is freshly prepared, neatly presented in plate and the environment is very clean. The cleanliness you can see in kitchen from reception, is exceptionally high. Tables are placed well to have enough distance between 2 tables and one can eat very comfortably while standing around it. Schezwan Idli was ok ok. Idli Chutney Sambhar is tasty and filling. Medu Wada Chutney Sambhar is very tasty. Gini Dosa is amazing. Lastly do not forget to pick the paan @ ₹10. Very tasty and economical substitute for mouth freshner.

Food is delicious having variety of south Indian menu and some of them prepared as per the current trend like served along with cheeze, mayonnaise etc having a western touch. I preferred typical only south dishes since the taste were more authentic however my niece liked the western touch dishes. Your menu could not be completed if you do not try their filter coffee, it's worth to have it. Regarding service, it's a nightmare, since the crowd is so much and with very limited kitchen space (open kitchen), customer and owner both are helpless. This may be true only on saturday and sunday, other days I don't have any idea. You need to stand and eat with only four small round table available, better prefer to parcle it and have it at your home except coffee.

Manis cafe is known for one of the best South Indian breakfast. Recently i visited thane outlet, they dont have sitting arrangement, you have to stand & eat, tables are arranged were you can keep your plates and have. Parking for 2 wheeler manageable but for 4 wheeler have to manage if you get near by. Coming to there food, They have different types of Dosa's & Idli's, quality & quantity is outstanding. I had Medu wada, Ghee idli, Upma + Sheera & filter coffee. I would strongly recommend filter coffee for coffee freaks.

Pathetic restaurant and management. Always mixup the orders. And they have no shame in feeding their customers rotten chutneys. Three times they gave rotten chutney. Its always crowded because of competitive rates. But they don't know how to manage such rush and high number of customers.I have stopped going there.

Very nice South Indian food outlet off Gokhle Road Thane. You get lot of variety in Dosas, Idli, uttapas... One should really try their filter coffee. Being a Kerala Iyer, I can personally guarantee that the taste of Chutney and Sambar are worth killing for! Dosas and Uthappams are equally yummy! It cant get more 'authentic' than this. I had ordered on swiggy today, but will definitely visit the shop soon to try filter coffee and other items.

In the attempt to try something different, I asked them what's special here, and then ordered matki dosa for a whopping ₹220, but the taste was horrible. Paneer masala in the matki was really bad in taste. Honestly, a serious goof up in the name of blending North and south Indian food along with mayonise - Yuck , it was a disaster. It's always wonderful to go to Matynga and have idali sambar at Mani's with unlimited sambar and chutni and filter kappi. Well that travelling is saved as It has come to thane. So far twice visited this place only for filter kappi. Food review is needless. It's a stand and eat place. More for takeaways.

Its common place with average taste.i dont understand why people flock in numbers. It tastes like average local seller. Mutiple options but of no use.

They never listen. I told them four times not to add coriander leaves to uttapa and they made uttapa as fat as pizza and full of garden of coriander leaves. The parcel service has to improve . The workers don't take order from boss and do as they wish to do as if they are doing great service to humanity.

Worst experience in terms of oil usuage. Despite of written instruction and verbal instruction still huge amount of oil used in dosa preparation.

We had ordered for the first time from Happy Valley outlet through Zomato today.They did not send chutney and sambar was very watery without drumsticks.poor quality food.will never order from them.had to send driver to bring chutney.They said they were too busy.

Place is new. The quality of Mani's chain is maintained but is little unexperienced for handling large crowds so stay the course and get your meal but once you get it it's absolutely fantastic. Must try is pineapple shira.

Maturation Mani's taste is very good. Found this is okay okay infront of that taste. Coffee is good. Must try. But morning time you won't get tomato chutney. Even told less sugar in coffee they put double sugar.

The Idli wada and filter coffee is good. The rawa dosa and paneer masala dosa was way too soggy. Overall hit and miss depending on the food you order.
