My review is specific to Robyn Quilty, physiotherapist extraordinaire (because that's the only practitioner I've worked with)! I started Pilates physio with Robyn regularly beginning in September 2022, after a few sessions over the summer. I've suffered from low back and hip pain for the past four years. I've been to other physiotherapists who helped, but it never seemed to be enough. Robyn is well-versed in Pilates and the use of it in her practice has been a godsend for me. I have back strength I never thought I would see again now that I'm in my 50s, and my overall wellness has improved. I have almost no back pain anymore, my pelvic floor has improved, my coordination and balance are much better and she has recently started rehab on a troublesome right knee, for which I am seeing steady progress. She listens to my concerns, encourages me to challenge myself without pushing me unnecessarily and the improvement in my quality of life is remarkable, and I'm just getting started. She is constantly changing up my workouts to ensure I get the most benefit from my sessions while at the same time working with, around, and sometimes through my physical difficulties. She weaves her physiotherapy knowledge and techniques with her Pilates expertise in a seamless way that gives clients the most benefit. She's also personable, understanding and listens to clients. I feel valued and appreciated as a client...plus, she laughs at my dog stories. The rest of the team are top notch. So pleasant and professional and very organized. You will never be sorry working with Robyn. I can't recommend her strongly enough.
What can I say about Daniel... What words can describe the new found feeling of getting back to a normal life without everyday pain?. Simply put there are absolutely no words of mine that can thank him enough. I had bad tendonitis in both elbows and just everyday functions like washing my hair and working was a really painful. After exausting every doctor, specialist, and pills prescribed acupuncture you name it I tried it.I decided to give Daniel a try was the best decision I've ever made in my life. Within a few weeks I was back to normal with no pain. The only problem was I adjusted my lifestyle so much to deal with the everyday pain it was rough trying to break those habits and getting back to normal and remembering I can do that now because there is no more pain.. It was a rough journey let me tell you but I absolutely recommend Daniel ,totally professional very polite and courteous and one hell of a therapist and a heck of a nice guy. I've recommended many people to him this is how much faith I have in him as a therapist. Daniel thanks for making me ..... Me again!!... John James...
I started curling a few years ago and fell in love with the sport. Last year I curled every chance I got. As a result, I ended up with severe tendonitis in both elbows, so much so that my elbows were permanently bent and had chronic pain in both. Upon my first visit to Manotick PhysioWorks I told my physiotherapist, Melanie, that I was a motivated patient and would follow all her instructions to the letter. Progress was slow at first, with the breakthrough coming after she told me about a fantastic flex bar exercise she had read about - that did the trick! I've just finished my second full season of curling having played 40% more games than last year. I wore compression sleeves during each game and did the flex bar exercise before and after each game along with some of the more traditional strengthening and stretching exercises for tendonitis . As a result, I retained a full range of motion in both elbows, had no chronic (or acute) pain, nor did I need to use any topical medications, such as Voltaren. I highly recommend Melanie and Manotick PhysioWorks.
I have seen several of the physiotherapists and the therapeutic masseuse over the past seven years with a variety of ailments, and in every instance the quality of care has been excellent. Their ability to diagnose an injury and apply modalities and/or massage and to prescribe exercises and/or stretches is always exactly what's needed to get me going again. In the one case that physiotherapy was not helping, the physiotherapist recommended that I stop the program and that I see a surgeon. I ended up having surgery on my elbow. A special mention is due for the online exercise program software that gives you the number of reps and sets per day, photos, a video and an explanation of the drill that is often personalized. I have found this to be so much more helpful than a photocopied sheet with some notes, as my exercises often change throughout the course of the physiotherapy. Very highly recommended!
By far the best physical therapy clinic I’ve been too. Apart from the staff and physio therapists being amazingly people who always make you feel welcome and more like friends than clients, the therapy itself was awesome. They treat you on an individual basis based on your symptoms and not a one size fits all solution “oh you have this problem, this is what you should do”. They really take the time to listen to your description of your problem and symptoms, and then find an appropriate recovery program. Also, I never felt pressured into signing up for more sessions which was different from other places. Could not recommend this place enough and would not consider ever going anywhere else.
I am very pleased with Manotick PhysioWorks and the treatment that I have received. I have had knee, shoulder and back issues over the years and the treatment has been very effective getting me back to sports and other activities safely and quickly. The staff are very helpful and professional and always willing to help deal with busy schedules when it comes to booking and occasionally changing physio appointments. A special shout out to Edith who has has been working with me on a rotator cuff tear; I'm now ready and looking forward to the golf season! Thank you Manotick PhysioWorks.
I have been going to PhysioWorks for various reasons during the last 8 years. I have nothing but good things to say about many of the experts there. Amy, Robyn and Meghan have been fantastic. Amy, with her knowledge, was able to detect some of my issues ( which were various and numerous) and help me get better. Robyn also has the ability to recognize the issues and was then able to recommend Meghan who helped me with my back issues in just a few sessions. In my eyes, they are amazing specialist and I will continue to go to PhysioWorks.
Thanks to Manotick PhysioWorks and Melanie who fixed me up once again. A few years ago I tweaked the nerves in my neck which triggered a mess in my nerves and muscles. Melanie worked it all out for me. Previously, I had suffered from occasional migraines. I have not had a migraine since - so I suspect that she also fixed that. Then a couple months ago, my neck started bothering again. Melanie checked it out and determined it wasn't the same issue but she set to work and had it all cleared up in a couple of visits. Thanks so much! Troy
I spent many hours at Manotick Physioworks following a severe concussion. Melanie was my primary physiotherapist. She is really lovely and really good at her job. Melanie used craniosacral therapy and I am forever grateful for her super-powers. I always felt like I had her undivided attention for the whole duration of my appointments. Beyond my therapy sessions, the admin. ladies at the front desk were always very friendly and I truly enjoyed the few minutes of chit chat while I waited for my appointment.
Amazing, comfortable and friendly place! Kaitlin is extremely knowledgeable and understanding, she has fixed injuries in both my shoulder and hip allowing me to keep up with all my activities. Through massage, Daniel has managed to get rid of all the knots and tension in my back. Kathy is so compassionate and professional, and will make you feel very comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are wonderful, very helpful and always put a smile on my face. Highly recommend Manotick Physioworks!
I have been seeing Daniel Brazeau for probaby 5 years now. On and off with different issues. My most common one was tendinitis in my forearms. I would have pain from doing my day to day job, going to the gym and the pain would actually wake me up at night. I even had him treat me recently for concussion symptoms. He is professional and very good at what he does. I have recommended many people and will definitely continue to do so. :D Vicky Robitaille
Meghan has been an absolute miracle worker with my daughter. After multiple and frequent visits to CHEO, Meghan has been able to non only help with the pain level but has also taught her exercises to work on her recovery. I have been so blown away by her miracle hands that I have also recommended her treatment to friends looking for physiotherapy. It is a bit of a drive for me but with these results, I doubt that I would ever want to use anyone else.
I ( Jean ) broke my ankle and after being non-weight bearing for 12 weeks began seeing Amy for physiotherapy. She was excellent in working to build up my flexibility and strength. Daniel also worked with me to increase flexibility, identifying areas where the muscles were tight and using a technique to release the stiffness. Amy and Daniel helped me to deal with the slow process of rehab and I highly recommend them both.
I have recently started going to PhysioWorks for massages and I would recommend it to anyone! They are all very welcoming and kind. The massage therapist will ask you what’s bothering you and he will work on it and every time after the massage, the area does feel better. He knows how to work and put pressure on the right muscles. I am so thankful that my neighbor recommended this spot to me!
Never tried physiotherapy before and didn't go in with much expectation. However, Edith is amazing! I always enjoy my sessions with her. She's detailed in analyzing my issues and how my body reacts to the exercises she recommends. She never makes me feel uncomfortable. My pelvic floor, abdominal muscles, and back have seen some major improvements since seeing her. Highly recommend!
I’ve been attending Manotick PhysioWorks regularly for a few years now for massage therapy with Daniel and have seen lots of improvement with my upper back and neck pain. Daniel also educated me about different stretches and exercises I can do at home to heal and prevent back pain which has been really helpful. The staff is very friendly and I would highly recommend!!
After years of struggling with back pain, a friend recommended Dan Brazeau at Manotick PhysioWorks. After his thorough examinations, and personalized treatments, he has been able to give me the relief I was after. I highly recommend this clinic- it is very clean and professional, the receptionist is lovely and Dan is an incredible RMT!
Great place. Easily resolved problems I had with leg and hip. Friendly and knowledgeable physios. Big thanks to Robyn Quilty for treating my leg injuries. Just back from running the Toronto Waterfront marathon. 2 weeks ago, prior to treatment I thought I was going to have to withdraw! Thank you so much for fixing me!!!!
I separated my shoulder by falling from my road bike so was looking for athlete/sports physiotherapy to heal my shoulder as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Sarah Nestor at Manotick PhysioWorks has provided me with exactly the sports-related insight, care and perspective I was looking for. I highly recommend her.
I just had my first massage here, and it absolutely will not be my last. I’ve been getting regular massages for years and this was hands down the best. Daniel was so knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint my problem areas with no issue. Very glad I stumbled onto this place, and looking forward to my next appointment!
I had a very bad fall with a broken humerus and bad concussion. I was so well taken care of by the staff. I had craniosacral treatments with Melanie who got my whole system back in order. A year later I have had TMJ taken care of It is so nice to have this facility in Manotick. Thank you to all. Darlene
At The Manotick PhysioWorks, I must say that their physio really does work! I am grateful for the assistance of physiotherapist Meghan Stapledon, who is not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also successful at providing useful methods to mitigate symptoms and improve overall health. Thank you.
I have had physio assistance from both Robyn and Melanie. These ladies are total pros - well educated, personable and very good at their work. They follow up to make sure you are tracking ok. Highly recommended - but remember, you have to follow the instructions and do your stretches !
I've been coming to the clinic for several years. Jenna Steele has been fantastic at treating my hip, pre and post replacement. She is professional, friendly and always seems to know the exact treatment to keep me active and pain-free. I highly recommend both her and the clinic!

I Tore my patellar tendon in my knee. With Physioworks staff and especially Daniel Brazeau’s with RMT I had a 100 percent recovery and mobilization after 1 year. Thank you Physioworks for giving back my wonderful life. Highly recommend

A bit off the beaten path for me, but fabulous service! Melanie is an amazing physiotherapist - helping me with TMJ disorder and flare ups, extending to general pain management and headache / migraine management.
