It's an odd pharmacy, but hey, Cyprus is a strange place, so go figure. Sometimes they will welcome you with love and are happy.... other times they don't look up from their mobile phones when you enter the store and look very angry. You will find empty boxes on the shelves, and you will be like "guys, your boxes are empty"!!! And there will be 4 staff (all related, cousins, uncles, aunt's), looking at their mobile phones, who will look up from their mobile phones and say, "yes, we will order more later...come back later!" But the biggest issue is the prices. A product can go up 30 cents overnight, then maybe come back down, the next day. Strange. Also, many pharmacies offer you a much better discount if you buy in large volume, which this pharmacy does not. Many products are much more expensive than other pharmacies in the area... And if they see you need this product, they put the price up. Welcome to Cyprus. So I went elsewhere. Probably because they are too busy looking at their mobile phones. But, this is Cyprus. UPDATE: While I appreciate and respect any response to a review, I'm not sure why "knowing my name" is of any relevance. When you go into a shop you don't "give your name"! This platform enables consumers/shoppers to provide a review with as much information about themselves as they feel comfortable about, and retaining anonymity on the internet is a personal choice which should be respected... I'm not sure my name is of any relevance...it is a review, does it make any difference if you know my name?? If someone gave me constructive criticism I would use it as an opportunity to understand what I'm doing wrong! Not respond by, "what is your name"!!?? Third World mentality. This is supposed to be a free and European country! Not North Korea, China, or Russia!! Live with it!
I bought glycerine from Marios Severis pharmacy on 16/09/21 to make vanilla extract. The expiration date was not entirely visible as it was partially printed and the paper ended. I could read "EXP: 07 202". The final digit was missing. I asked the pharmacist if it was expired. I told her it's for ingestion (eating) purposes, and not to make cosmetic products, and it's important that it's not expired. She took the product and checked her computer screen! She said it's not expired, and she said that the date was 2022. So I bought it. After I went home I decided to call the manufacturer, and I provided details of LOT number and partial date. They called me back next day and told me that it is expired, and not to use it! The problem is that she knew that I would use the glycerine as an edible product, and as a pharmacist she should know that expired glycerine is susceptible to microbial growth, including gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold. UPDATE: I cannot trust your response, since the response I got from the manufacturer was that the product was expired. I called the number on the bottle.
They opened with a delay, refused to serve GESI, and answered with psychosis that for some reason GESI was only open from 8:30 in the morning. The pharmacist was freaking out and couldn’t tear herself away from the TV. Previously, the staff was always attentive and responsive.
I went to this chemist to buy Ozempic and they were very helpful. I am going to go back to them to buy more as I was very happy with their service.
