"The food is extremely overpriced, the seafood is frozen not fresh"
"My husband and I had driven by Mariscos several times and finally decided to stop by and try it out"
"Had a late lunch with my Girlfriend"
"Best mariscos in DFW! After trying several restaurants in the area we finally found one that makes the best camarones cucaracha"
"First time trying this place out "
The food is extremely overpriced, the seafood is frozen not fresh. While the flavor was ok its very difficult to justify spending that much on food that was for the most part just "meh". Save your money there are too many other places in the area that will give you both better quality food as well as more for your money.
My husband and I had driven by Mariscos several times and finally decided to stop by and try it out. Very traditional Mexican (not Tex-Mex) seafood was very fresh and they gave you a lot of it. Spacious open floor plan with a lively atmosphere. I give this place 2 thumbs up and can't wait to try it again!!!
Had a late lunch with my Girlfriend. Arriving about 4, we missed any possible dinner rush. We were able to order, despite a language barrier, and the food arrived (the order was correct!) In very short order. Food and service were both great. Hope this local place can survive, we sure enjoyed it!
Best mariscos in DFW! After trying several restaurants in the area we finally found one that makes the best camarones cucaracha. So good! Caldo Riviera is amazing very flavorful and huge portion. Great prices and our server was very attentive and friendly. The 40 min drive is totally worth it!
First time trying this place out . Drove by it and stopped for a quick bite. I ordered the salmon in a creamy mushroom sauce it was delicious. I also got a octopus tostada that was on point. I will definitely be back again. Service was very attentive also. …
I've driven down New Church Road dozens of times and never paid attention to this building. WHAT A MISTAKE! This establishment has incredible Mexican Seafood food! Now, that I work nearby in Garland, I will be eating here more often. The service was very attentive!
Ceviche needs a little more flavor. I recommend adding cilantro and chopped onions on the ceviche to add more flavor. Their mojaras were one of the top best ones I had ever add. They make it so much easier for me to eat. The owners are polite and great.
Shrimp cocktail had no flavor....when we let the server know she didnt say anything.no sorry can i het you something else nada.salsas needed more flavor too watery.the only good thing was the beer and mojarra frita.would not go there again. More
Omg the food here is amazing! I highly recommend it! My husband kept talking about this place until finally yesterday I had a chance to try it! I feel in love with it! There is no place in Dallas or around the area that taste any thing like it!
If you are looking for authentic Mexican seafood a few minutes south of Richardson, this is it. Because of this chilly weather, this time I got the Caldo de Mariscos Rivera. If you are hungry and cannot wait to eat, be prepared to give this
We celebrated for my dad’s birthday! I ordered a fried mojarra and it was delicious. Great size & fried perfectly. It came with fries, bread and rice plus a little salad. I also had an agua de melon and that was good too. The servers were
The food here is not that bad. But do expect to sooner or later be ripped off. I came here once in awhile whenever I was in the area but the customer service is completely terrible that it has made me decide not to come here again. They
The shrimp cocktail I had was really really good. It had a lot of flavor with the onions and diced cucumbers. I'm not sure what type of cocktail sauce they made it with, but I sure know it wasn't V8. I did have to add the ketchup myself
This is mine and my husband's favorite spot, the food is always great, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly. There is a bit of a language barrier, but we love this place so much I'm learning Spanish to fix that.
Me and my husband love seafood and we have tried almost every seafood restaurant in Dallas. This one by far is the best, it's authentic Mexican seafood not like the others that are awful. We highly recommend this place.
Went here 4 times so far with wife and kids. Salmon de la champinones absolutely the best I ever had. Try it you won't be sorry it's worth every penny and you will come for more information guarantee you.
The food was delicious. Most of the menu is seafood but they have a good variety of other items. The music was great and the service was overall the best. I would definitely recommend and come back again.
Sea food was overcooked, broth had no flavor for the sea food soup, the chicharrón de pescado was great, menudo was good, service was normal nothing special, a little on the high price. More
No English in the place. The waitress was amused and game to point, pantomime, and teach. I chose ceviche and it was very good. The place felt very peaceful. The flan was also good. More
If you looking for best seafood in town this is it. But like the pulpo or mariscos 2000s you better stay there because Herr they got the best mariscos I ever try in Dallas tx More
Everything we ordered was delicious! I’m from LA and had a hard time looking for good Mexican sea food. This place didn’t disappoint. All my family enjoys eating here. More
Tried some stuff. The ceviche was good but the shrimp coctail was like the worst I've ever tasted. The sauce had a really bitter (?) Taste? It wasn't tomato based.
Went back today. Look at the menu. Wow- lot of authentic Mexican dishes. Might have to start tasting everyone of them. Fried fish is a favorite! …
I really didn’t like the food, shrimp cocktail was flavorless, same as the ceviche con pulpo, the only good thing was the salsa, not worth the price.
I just love Mariscos restaurants. I may be the only caucasian guy when I go, but they treat me very well and I like the side dishes. Good and spicy!
Amazing experience! Ordered the shrimp scampi, and the dish looked exactly like the photo on their menu! Very surprised and very well staffed.
We came here based on the reviews. In short, both the food and the service were mediocre, and also very much overpriced for what you get.
Food was ok. Rice portion was too small for the price of the plate. Will stick with going to La Marea where portions are bigger. More
OMG, I'm very picky but this was awesome, good flavor and great staff and don't forget to ask for a Cantarito Jalisciense woo-hoo! !
Amazing service as usual specially when Aracely is working. She always makes sure everything tastes as it’s serve great!!!! More
Fajitas where horrible, chewy and bland. Beans are horrible. The price is outrageous for the amount of food you get. More
Food is good, but spicy i wish they will advice. Portions are okay. Shrimp wrap in bacon was great!!
