My fiancé wanted me to experience designing my own engagement ring. I met Mark for the first time last summer and we started to talk about ideas and aspects of the ring that were important to me. I am from the WestCoast so the beach is my happy place and I wanted a wave detail in the ring. There was some family gold we wanted used in the ring for sentimentality. I was specific about the diamond setting as well. Lastly I wanted a modern ring and only one piece , not a separate band. I was absolutely speechless when I saw the first drawing. Mark Katzeff is a extremely skilled goldsmith/jewelry designer! He can honestly create anything that you would like! My wife found a wedding ring design on the internet that she really liked - however it was very expensive due to the brand name! Mark was able to recreate this ring for us for a fraction of the price! He even made it in a 3D CAD design and we were able to make small tweaks to make it even better! He also sources the diamonds and lets you choose which one to set as your favourite! An overall wonderful experience! If you have a vision for any sort of jewelry, Mark can create it for you for a very fair price! I will definitely be using him for future commissions!

Mark is simply amazing! We were looking for a custom made engagement ring, a Solitare oval diamond and 14k white gold band. Mark listened to what we wanted and stuck within our budget. He was extremely easy to work with, and really wanted the very best for us. He is also very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every detail to me, since I had no clue about diamonds. I realized a big thing about buying a ring, or anything important to you, is trusting the person selling it to you. Mark is a genius and true artist! He designed the engagement ring for my wife, working with me to source the diamonds and sapphires that would symbolize her past, her present and her future. When it came time to get our wedding rings, he answered the call again. He produced rings that were unique but spoke to each other and the engagement ring. Most importantly, for me, he managed to incorporate gold from my dad's wedding ring into my ring. He had passed when I was very young and being able to carry that with me through my marriage is something I will treasure always.

Mark helped my now husband and I create the most beautiful “wife ring” I call it. I didn’t want just a wedding band and I wanted something unique. We spent maybe 3 months meeting him to draw designs (incredible sketch artist by the way), and picking the stones (when I didn’t like any of the sapphires shown to me he made me feel 100% ok about getting another batch to look at). He customized the ring with a high level of skill and all within our very limited timeframe. We went to Mark to design my girlfriends engagement ring. He spent at least two hours sitting with us and talking through everything diamonds. He drew out everything she envisioned on to paper and we created a beautiful ring. He is very trustworthy and never once was pushy or salesy. Overall this experience beat any experience we had at all the other chain jewelry stores We went to.

I ordered a beautiful Earth Ring from Mark, and it was unfortunately ordered too small after having a chain jeweler incorrectly size my finger. Mark kindly offered to take the ring back and resize it for me. I received it in the mail recently and it fits perfectly. He did not have to help, but he did and he made it a great experience.
