"Haven't interacted with any staff to comment on service"
"pretty decent food selection, the best in West Hampstead anyway, even have a decent vegan and veg selection, most of the staff are borderline civil, which is a miracle for supermarket staff nowadays, very few I have come across are displaying an attitude and a chip or are overtly rude unlike Waitrose staff and Tesco's"
"Top notch staff"
"Quite a different experience the shop was very busy"
" But a bit too chaotic and disorganised for my liking"
Haven't interacted with any staff to comment on service. Its very much a self service place. It loses a star for that. Also, the homeware section is so tiny, I couldn't find any of the things I needed. Even for a small express store, I expected a bit more. Good thing theres a Sainsbury's and Tesco further up the road.

Top notch staff. As always in any busy place staff may be caught on the back heel at the self checkouts due to customer loading, but they are friendly and helpful. Sometimes customers queue jump from the wrong end of the self checkouts needs keeping an eye on. M&S you got a good crew there methinks.
Quite a different experience the shop was very busy. Short staffed only self-serve tills available. Needed assistance but standing at the till like a lemon. Not impressed at all. Also aisles very crowded with Xmas stock not stacked on shelves... West Hampstead M+S. Please do better Thanks......
But a bit too chaotic and disorganised for my liking. Shelves were not well stocked and staff was all at sea. Needs to buck up its ideas as there are plenty of alternatives #tesco, #sainsbury, #wenzel, #cornershops. No wonder M&S just dropped out of #ftse100. …
I went in to pick up groceries and needed the assistance of this black male who seems to be working around the self service area. He was very reluctant to help when I asked for his help, he repeatedly asked me to excuse him (out of his way)
I visit This store often because they have lovely flowers and good fruits. I had a very good general experience always bit the very last time I got a bot upset as I wanted to buy some reduced in price strawberries (yellow labelled) but when
Sadly I experienced a very negative tone and attitude today when asking the store manager a question regarding food deliveries. It was very clear that he was put out because I was interrupting him from his work. He actually look like he was
I used to love this M&S but after Brexit they barely get any products there anymore. Always 3/4 of the shelves are empty and essential goods are missing. Before, they had a great selection of their own pizzas, now they reduced it to 3 basic
Short male manager was very rude when I interrupted him to ask for help. Also most of the store looked under stocked. Also no sign of staff around the store as I wanted to ask if they had any fish fingers in the back but didn't want to ask
Very nice store, staff were helpful in finding two of the products we couldn't find actually took us to them (some other stores-- not nessecerily M&S -- sometimes the staff just point in a direction , and when you get there still can't see
Shopping for your groceries here will give you eyes the size of marbles! So much lovely food on sale, which is hard to resist, when you smell the fresh bread being baked in store. I only popped in for a sandwich but ended up with two large
Sorry to have to share a one star but this is not targeted to the wonderful staff at my local branch at West Hampstead but to the security officer who kept following my daughter around the store today whilst she was doing her usual Sunday
Despite summoning the check-out controller to assist us with the operation of the automated check-out system, the controller failed to spot that we had a bottle of Port with a security tag attached to it, and forgot to detach it for us.
COVID Update: saw 10 staff members during my visit yesterday. 1, ONE, wore their mask properly! The rest either had it under nose under CHIN! Also none of them were distancing from customers !! I was picking out something and one of the
Usual excellent selection of food & drink here. It also has an on-site bakery. We often pop in here to either get food & drink to take to Regents Park (a few stops on the tube) or when returning home & go from WH Thameslink. They have a
As someone who used to work for M&S, this is one of my least favourite stores. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the layout of the store is terrible and it is impossible to socially distance. Everything is crammed together like a
I had a very negative experience today with one of the staff members. He was extremely rude and extremely patronising. This is my local Marks & Spencer‘s,I use it all the time. I have always found the bakers and the staff friendly and
This store gets a little busy and the self service area is a little cramped. Clean store though with a great selection of produce. It's located next to the station making it easy to get to. Not much parking though, only on side roads.
I sustained injuries and several personal affects have been ruined as a result of a fall on a wet floor with the signage tucked away from view. I was told there was CCTV. Now there is not... I was not offered any first aid and the
I'm lucky to have this store at the top of my road. Staff are warm and welcoming, I wish I could name them all by my memory is poor. Had the pleasure of being helped by Savannah yesterday but they all deserve a bonus.
Straight across the road from the tube station, next door to the Overground station, this M&S Food outlet has the location to die for. And, in fairness, it steps up to the dream plate it has been gifted. Chances are
Bought a suit in a central London branch, they forgot removing the security tag. I came to your shop which is my local one and no one could help and was told to go back to the other store. Very poor service.
Has a good range of items and always well stocked. Handy to pop in for lunch time bits before boarding the train from West Hampstead stations on the morning or for dinner items before heading home in the
Brilliant staff, lovely display of the section where you get all the fruits and vegetables. Staff filling the shelves always willing to stop to help me find the product I want. Very friendly atmosphere.
Great, good selection of staples, pre-made stuff and everything else. Line can get pretty long on Friday after work, so be patient. Also, needs more unsliced bread, as it all sells out so quickly!
If you like self-service checkouts then this branch is fine for you but I miss a person at a till! Limited stock/food here; the store is quite small. However it does have some of the basics.
Nice handy M&S Food store close to the West Hampstead stations. Usual selection of common household items, ready meals, bakery and fresh meat and vegetables. Convenient and open fairly late.
Conveniently located for a quick grocery shop between trains. Great selection of food for a shop of this size, including a bakery section and coffee machine. Usual M&S prices of course.
So happy that West Hampstead finally has a M&S! It is quite a big M&S food store with a large selection. I am sure they'll be taking a lot of business from the other local supermarkets!
Only gave a star in order to write the review Very bad experience this morning @7.35am in M&S West Hampstead. Went into to buy a bottle of Champagne, the shop was empty.
Super convienient placement of the store, near the station. Has everything if you're looking for something quick before work or on the go, plus many other essentials.
Opens at 7am, so perfect for that early morning croissant and coffee for half the price of the usual suspects in the coffee chain market. Friendly and helpful staff.
Efficient helpful staff with a range of fresh healthy food. Limited choice of food without plastic packaging reduces options for those who want to minimize waste.
Really well organised for shopping during the Pandemic The food retailers in the UK are coping very well and have put safety measures in place very effectively
Great location between tube. train and overground for last minute food grab en-commute my way home. Thank heavens for these small M & S food stores.
A thoroughly decent Marks and Spencer. Shelves nearly always well stocked, a great range of fresh bread. The self checkouts do glitch quite a bit.
Friendly staff, good selection of food. Free coffee with purchase but bring own mug. Open till late. Marvellous facility for W Hampstead
Just love this place! Staff are always kind and understand that I find using the tills difficult.
Very helpful workers and were willing to get me prime from the store cupboard
