This clinic hosts one of the best doctors in Vancouver and surrounding area. My doctor is Dr. Lecky. I'll list some experiences and examples of the amazing service I've had. 1. He listens to your experience, and genuinely tries everything in his power to get you answers and treatment you need. I have never had a sense of smell, I was told I was lying and punished my whole life for this reason. I had so much trust issues for being called a liar but know I've never smelt anything before. When trying to get a family Dr before I was told if I really hadn't smelled my whole life there wasn't any reason to find the reason at 26. But Dr lecky ordered mri, got me appointments with an ent. And bam, showed why I couldn't smell. He got me the answers I've been looking for my whole life. It was the biggest relief. 2. He isn't judgemental. He tries to understand situations, I was struggling with addiction. he got me resources and helped me through it after relapse after relapse. He always supported me. I've been sober 7 months now and I know it's because of everything he helped me with, all the resources, medications to help with cravings and widthdrawals. I am forever greatful. 3. It's so easy to make appointments online and do them by phone or coming into the office. I am not going to lie, I am an annoying patient with health conditions that affect my life. He never has shown annoyance at me for needing his help. And that makes me feel safe and heard. That isn't something you can find easily in a Dr. 4. He is always there to explain. If you have questions or feel in the dark it's a stressful feeling. But I've always left understanding what's going on and my own health. I'm general, I've had a great experience with him for almost 4 years. He even helped me with pwd. He puts in the work. Thank you so much! Jess.

Dr. Lecky is truly the best GP I've ever met. He always listens to me and works to provide the best quality of care possible in a pretty broken system. He's never blamed any of my problems on being a hysterical, emotional woman. He's open to exploring new options and never invalidates your experiences. He goes out of his way to make sure his patients are taken care of. His front desk is pretty hard to reach but be patient because the reason they are hard to reach is because they are busy making sure all the behind the scenes work is done.

Dr. Merrick Tosefsky was our family doctor for near 20 years when he left the Coquitlam practice for Marpole. It has been years and we still miss him. It is rare to feel heard, cared about and actually taken care of anymore. I know the nurses at Able Care would get so annoyed because his appointments typically ran long and got him backed up but I cam guarantee none of us minded the wait. I wish we had just sucked it up and commuted to Vancouver to see him. Miss you still. I have changed doctors twice since he left and feel totally lost.

If i could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Tosefsky has been my physician for 24 years and I dread the day he retires. Sometimes you will run into a professional and think about how this person was meant for this particular job. He is compassionate, he listens and he is thorough. He doesn't pus pills, and wants to dig down into the root of any issue before prescribing. As someon who rarely even takes tylenol, this is important in this day and age. He is a gem of a doctor and I am very fortunate to have him as my physician.

I was his patient as well as my husband until we left Vancouver.....one of his first patient's in Coquitlam. The most wonderful doctor I have ever had...he speaks to the meaning of a true and dedicated caring doctor. ...please tell him hello from Carlos and Arlene Sancho and how we miss him!!!!
