HomeGoods is one of my favorites - but my experience at this specific location was very poor. While the store was well stocked and the floor workers were kind - the front end team members were less than accommodating. I had over $300 worth of stuff and went to get in line - the line was wrapped around the store(which is totally fine and I was not upset - its great you are busy) - but I had a sitter for my son while my husband was working(we both work full time) and I really needed to leave to get back so she could go. I asked one of the 5 workers at the holding area if I could put my items on hold until the end of the day so that I could return once my husband got home from work - my son has asthma and I am avoiding taking him into stores. First off - I had to get their attention because they were having a personal conversation - secondly when I asked they immediately said no - you have 2 hours. I explained my situation and they said - they line is not going to change - its long no matter what time you come. Again, I told them that I did not mind waiting in line, i just needed to come back and do it later when I had child care. They still did not care, told me 2 hours was the best they could do - turned around and continued on with their day. I called the store to confirm the amount of time you can hold an item - they said 3 hours. So not only was the information they gave inconsistent - the way they delivered it was rude and inconsiderate. I was a manager for a big box retailer for 10 years - I know it can be tough - especially in these unprecedented times with all the new rules and fears. However, one thing you can control is how you treat your customers and the customer experience that they have. I do not expect you to break protocol or treat me special - but I do expect a basic level of customer service and decency. I will not be returning to this location and I hope you can use this feedback to teach, coach and train your team.

The collection at the HomeGoods is awesome. Unfortunately, BUYER BEWARE! My husband and I purchased a Media Console from this location. We were first discounted for a chip in the top and then again because the back of the item fell off as we were removing it from the store. Upon getting home, we fixed the piece and placed it where we wanted it, but we realized there were a lot more infrastructural issues than we realized and it was not worth the $500 we spent on it. So we wanted a more fair price. Several managers were incredibly unhelpful, telling me I would have to bring this massive/fragile piece back into the store for them to inspect it and that even with pictures, a video, or Facetime they could not even ballpark the discount they would give us to let us know if that effort would be worth it. I spoke with at least four managers until I finally got to Edgar who was a massive help and offered me a fair price for the item. The other managers were so unhelpful. I am not a nickel and dimer and one continued to point out that I was asking for "more of a discount." At the end of the day, the store sold me a broken item for nearly $500. I just wanted to purchase it for what it was actually worth, and Edgar was the only one willing to help me do this. Moral of the story - check big items thoroughly. Open up every drawer, cabinet, check the feet, the back, the inside. Don't leave without a thorough inspection!

If your store does so much business that the line consistently wraps around the store and takes 45 min to an hour to buy something, you should be hiring more cashiers. Or take some folks off the floor to help out. Or install some self checkouts! Jeesh. If you walk into this store, be sure you check the line before you bother shopping unless you like standing in line like your waiting for a Disney ride. 15 registers and 4 of them open with probably 100 people in line. If I’m managing this store, I walk around the store and tell employees who are slowly putting stuff on racks to get their butts up front. Ridiculous. Train everyone on the registers! What’s also comical is 9 register lights are on despite 4 people checking folks out. Unlikely we’ll shop here again which is sad because the store has a large selection but absolutely zero efficiency and they don’t seem to care. And the cashiers need to stop offering credit card signups and chatting with people when the line is an hour long. Who is managing this store? Maybe you should issue monthly bonuses based on number of transactions per day or month by teller and they’ll stop chatting so much and move it along.

  • oh hi how are you

I understand there are losers that steal rather than work and buy the normal way. It sucks though when it affects the normal buying customers. I purchased 5 steps of the same brand skincare for my daughter for the holidays. I had saved up for the whole routine and it was her main gift. It didn't occur to me to check the inside of the boxed items. When she opened her presents, she was so exciyed and opened each one to try them. One of them had a different brand skincare item from the body shop, not the brand the box was in. We returned it today with the receipt. Person that helped us was so rude and refused to return it as she stated they don't even carry body shop items. (Untrue). We asked for a manager who was not much nicer. When they saw I wasn't going to leave they finally gave us store credit. I gave it 3 stars as the store is nice and selection is amazing. Just make sure you open all and any boxed items before purchasing.

While I do like the “treasure hunt” aspect of Marshall’s/Homegoods. I’m not sure it outweighs the pain of standing in a line that extends to the rear of the store and back towards the women’s athletic section. Added note that the long line is by no means an isolated issue on weekends and peak times. 3pm on a Wednesday and I stood in line for at least 30 minutes. Some may argue that the line moves, however I have yet to shop at another Marshall’s/Homegoods store where the line is so long. PLEASE, a special appeal to the management of the Rea Road store and corporate, let’s see some action on fixing this frustration for your customers and showing that you appreciate us and respect our time. I know that I am not the only one who evaluates how long the line is before I decide to shop here.

It was the first time that we had been in a combined Marshall's and HomeGoods. We been them in them both individually many times. This store was well stocked and easily found what we were looking for. One thing stocked out to me is their checkout line. We have been in Marshall's and / or HomeGoods in Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and now North Carolina, and their checkouts are all the same. The line is typically wrapped around back into the store, and there is always someone behind the counter watch or moving about really doing nothing instead of opening another register and helping out. Probably a manager and doing so would be beneath them. Also, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week, not mention no paper towels.

This is hands down the worst of the stores. The employees and managers are down right rude as hell. As a Tjmaxx employee it's embarrassing to see how badly customers are treated at this store. They make up their own rules and will argue with you until they get what they want. I would be ashamed to work here. Corporate, you really need to step in and take a look at how horrible these employees are. Aside from that the store is a total mess all the time, not just on weekends. The carts are so messy you can't even get out the door. The line is always long and the employees stand around pretending like no one is there. This store is a disgrace to the wonderful reputation the company has.

Huge store. I didn't realize that the 2 stores were actually connected into one since this was my first visit to this location. Great idea, as I love shopping at both stores. (I do know that they are owned by the same co.) I stopped by this one on my lunch break and if you could imagine just how busy they could have been two weeks before Christmas...they were. The line was so very long, but I got into it anyway. To my surprise, they actually had enough cashiers to get the job done. I only stood in line for about 10 minutes and that line had stretched all the way over the the Home Goods side. I was not late getting back to work, thankfully! For that, I'm grateful.

Home goods is one of the finest places to buy unique decorative items. I like the store very very much. I think that the prices are good and the merchandise is better. The only complaint that I have is that the stockers are busy in the aisles every time I go over there. The problem here is that they are in the way of the shoppers and they act like the shoppers are in their way. I feel that this type of merchandise replacement should be done after hours when people are not trying to shop. Beyond that I have no complaints about the store whatsoever. In fact it is a real pleasure to shop here if the stockers are not in the way!

Me and my Husband experienced Racial Profiling at it's 'HIGH' tonight at this location‼️ WOW We were in line checking out, one of the items was on clearance for $4.00. Immediately, the cashier grew suspicious of the item, instead of her going to the clearance rack to check the price of the other marked down items, she left the register an begin to look at the item like I switched the price. Wrong Move‼️ A group of Caucasian Women gathered around whispering, being RUDE‼️ It definitely set me an my Husband off, I was totally Baffled by this incident. I own SEVERAL Businesses...I could NEVER behave the way they did.

There is way too much stuff crammed in the store you can hardly walk. Marshalls/Homegoods need their own building in this area, one large enough to equal the size of that whole complex they are stuffed in right now. The store Definitely needs more registers and cashiers. Anyone can go into the store in the middle of the day on any day, not just Christmas season, but throughout the year and have to wait in line for 45 minutes. They have a great selection of items but you can't get to everything and you can't see everything because it so packed together, They added Christmas stuff to the store and made it a lot worse.

  • Mrs Lomax

For starts I love home goods and Marshall’s. However, today my experience was very rude with my cashier in register 7. Whoever was in register 7 after 6 p.m. was so rude. First of all, I get this whole pandemic but her attitude in telling me to take my items out the bag since I was returning was just rude. I get that people have good and bad days. I just want to say whatever she is going through or whatever is on her mind, I hope God can give her hope and peace. However, on the side note. I feel the store as a staff since it is required to wear a mask they need to inform people not wearing one to have one on.

What can I say - be careful. People who collect carts are sloppy. They can scratch your car without regret. I sat in my truck while my daughter slept. I felt a slight jolt (as if something had hit the car). I looked in the mirror and saw carts driving past on the right side and being pushed by a MARSHALS store worker. I called him and at that moment he almost scratched another car if I had not caught the carts. I asked how it is possible to be so inaccurate and what should I do now? He said he didn’t know how to solve the problem ... I let him go. ... Be careful. (My truck brand new 1 month)

Lots of great stuff but the dreadful long line makes you want to drop everything you found and walk away. The shopping line is ridiculous and it’s is because the location in understaffed. There are 15 registers and only 5 in operation. I suppose they built 15 for a good reason. It takes a good 30-40 minutes in line to get checked out. The claim is that some staff members are sick but that is what Human Resources are for, so account for these circumstances. I really hope something will change at this location. It’s the only location I know that has this issue, please take action ASAP, thank you.

I'm disappointed beyond normal. I bought a pricey shampoo and conditioner set, and the first time I used it, it was rather odd. The conditioner did nothing related to conditioning, despite it's label. The second time I tried it, I realized the shampoo indeed smelled and resembled liquid hand soap. And stripped my hair. And the conditioner still did nothing. There's no way I'll continue to use these products. And now I can't return these products because of the product category. So I wasted money on them and have to go out to buy new ones and spend even more money. How disappointing.

  • Fran Seifer

I usually like these 2 stores, but before Xmas, there was not one iota of space for people with carts. It was jam packed. That to me is a turnoff because I cant find anything. There was more Xmas themed stuff than one store should be allowed to carry. I started to get claustrophobia! Glad I did my shopping before Thanksgiving. Can't handle clutter. And it would be nice to have more than one 2x4 table of Hanukah items. One lady said she was headed to Bed Bath etc for that and her Xmas shopping. So they lost sales with her departure and my dissatisfaction.

  • Brent Strong

Giving the area of the store location in a high end area they are one of the most disgusting stores. This store looks worst than a big lots on Black Friday. I do not think they have a vacuum or a broom or even hands if they can’t wipe a bathroom stall or put the paper towels in the holder. Trash all over and under the shelves, orange carts from stockers left in the pathways. Trash in carts at the entrance. Plain out nasty. The checkout line was blocking the main way to home goods and down an isle. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed.

  • Happy Snowflake

One can find some good deals here if you look hard enough. Pillows are the same price as Pottery Barn though and they wait until something is damaged beyond use before a discount is taken. Some amazing buys on furniture. The managers are not the most flexible in providing discounts for damaged goods. One time they offered us a 2% discount on a $400 item. We walked away and found a better price with no damage on eBay. Best time to shop: Friday evenings to avoid the crazy lines. Tuesday evening or Wed morning for the new merchandise.

Home Goods & Marshalls at Blakely is a nightmare . I walk in the line is to the back of the building for check out, the shelves and products are everywhere. You can't find anything and if you do it more than an hour to check out. I laid what I managed to find down and walked out the door. It absolutely horrible. I would rather drive to Steal Creek where it's a nice shopping experience. The lines are never bad there and it clean & organized. I think Blakely needs a new manage. It obvious whoever isn't doing their job.

  • Natalya Kosyanenko

I like Home Goods - lots of nice things for home including dishes, home decor, furniture, glassware, silverware, kitchen gadgets, and textile for the lower price. If you choose to go on a weekend, you are more likely to have to wait in line before the checkout. It doesn't normally take long - around 10 minutes or so. Ipd: still like it. Their loyalty program with their credit card that works for entire umbrella including marchalls and tjmax has some benefits. The refunds are also easy.

Busy location. Super long lines that move very quickly. Very orderly and organized. Usually, the shelves have random things here and there but this store has everything in its place. Impressive! Great and varied selection of items. Good, bargain prices for name brands. Today, I needed a recommendation for a product and the sales associate went out of her way to help me, explaining all of my options and helping me choose the best fit for my needs. Always a good time at this store!

  • Anthony Savage

The only reason it gets two Star’s yes because some of the stuff in there is nice. Costumer service is terrible. They have 15 registers. Only 6 open, with over 60 ppl in a line wrapped around the entire store, with over a dozen employees walking around fake busy. Literally just standing there. What was funny is the girl from the Homegoods side of the store saying they aren’t allowed to work the register, but she’s just standing there looking simple. Terrible management. Terrible.

  • Anna Klimek

Hate lines, 15 registrations and only 5 were open! I was in line to buy new stuff and now I am waiting in line for a return! Ridiculous! I spend 1 hour in line. A cashier said they are paid low, so they have difficulty to keep people. However this location has second place in sales in US. Those are two big retailers at one location, so like two cashiers per each store. It is not enough. Hate that location. Where is executive management? On offshore vacations due to high sales?

  • 8

Standing on the line which wraps around homegoods down past boys, men, all the way back to beauty. I called the store while on line and spoke with a manager named Karen. She stated that she was aware and that ALL registers are open. Well, that was a LIE! She has 3 employees in the dressing room area. I hope corporate sees this review. UPDATE! It's now 5:40pm. Been on line for an hour and 6 minutes. 9 registers were not open. Karen is too friendly with her staff. SMH!

  • Ann Kirk

I shop at the Homegoods Blakeney location, I like to walk around and see what is new. The store is usually clean and the organization is good and I often find things I like and have used in my home. The negative is the long wait to actually buy something. I have put things down and decided not to purchase many times because of the long lines. It's at a point where they should put wait times at different points in the line-like an amusement park!

  • JanisElaine

I went there Saturday about noon. Parking lot was a Zoo!!! And inside the store was ridiculously crowded but the prices I got on my wall art and bedding were amazing! And the staff and other shoppers were so friendly and patient with each other. The check out line was about a mile long and I panicked!!! But I waited maybe 20minutes - Every cashier lane was open and the line was steadily moving!! Turned out to be a great experience after all.

  • ariel cam

It doesn’t matter what day it is, or time, or what season even…. The line is always wrapped around to check out. While I understand times are tough w lack of employment etc etc Covid happened yada yada, why is it that this is the only location that has this issue? Sharon amity… and elsewhere do not have this issue. They run smoothly with even few people working. Not sure what’s going on with this specific location for the last few years.

  • Donella Richardson-Graham

I have never experienced two stores in one like this one. The line be soooooooooo long that it makes you not want to shop there. On the other hand, that Home Goods store is like a woman's dream. You can find a little of everything in there. We found the wall art for our living room for cheap. I found a pretty cool water bottle for cheap. I just know to go as soon as they open to be able to not have to stand in that line all day.

  • Laura Swanson

This store has had massively long lines for MONTHS. It is common to stand in line for 30 plus minutes. The line is backed up and weaving through the store. Despite the fact that people leave the line (and their merchandise) the line is still unbearable. For me it makes more sense to drive to another store further away that has their check out process handled better. I can’t understand how corporate would let things be this way.

  • Shyam Sankaran

I wish Google brings in negative stars. The worst store in the planet. They will tell you they will "fix" a broken item and sell it to you *at a discount agreed, however when you go to pick up that item - voila it will not be there! And then they will insult you. The worst store.,, half the plant stands are broken, check out for yourself. Stay away if you want to be respected. Be prepared for being redlined if you are of color!

  • Rocket Man

Clean restrooms Great service. I saw a pair of shoes I like but there was no tag, found the associate/he immediately stopped just to make sure I was satisfied- Kudos! Great team Good products. However, if you buy workout gloves M or W they will not last too long; based on experience Lots of toys and games to choose Great place for deals and clearance items Kid friendly Easy to spot in traffic Lots of household items and decor.

  • Ana Medina

Horrible store, always messy and horrible customer service. I ask the coordinator at front to make a tag for t shift a cashier had already charge me for, using a similar item and she was lazy and annoyed that she went and grad an item that cost more completely different brand and told me that the cashier didn’t know what she was doing and change the price on the 2 t shirts and had a tag and other didn’t.

  • John Machala

Extremely poorly run store. Checkout line is extremely long, and I'm told this is "normal". Get up to checkout only to be told the item I came in for had a wrong tag on it. Very poorly run, no concept of respect for the customer's time. Too many transactions require manager involvement, and then the manager is in no hurry because it's a never ending hamster wheel. At least the place is clean? 2 stars.

  • Kim Dawson

I came to the store on a Sunday morning. Online, the hours say that it is open at 10 AM. 20+ people waiting outside and the manager finally yelled through the door but they don’t open until 11. Something about summer hours. Seems like a pretty easy fix. Probably 20 to 25 people came and left while I was here. That is business lost at a time when brick and mortar stores cannot afford it.

  • Rachel Clark

I always love the treasures and deals I can find at Marshall’s and HomeGoods, however I avoid shopping at this store at this point. The checkout line is ridiculously long no matter what time or day I am there. The snaking line makes it almost impossible to shop in the housewares aisles. The selection of items is plentiful, but always a mess and overstocked falling into the aisles.

  • Scott Webster

Selection here is killer. They have 3-4 versions of what your looking for and a bunch of other stuff that perfectly fits what your looking for and other stuff you didn't even know your wife needed but you end up with. Great for the look danger on the budget! A bit difficult to navigate a cart through because it's packed to the gills with on trend trinkets and decor.

  • Sharon Carlson

Great deals to be found. Friendly and helpful staff. The store is packed with inventory that it is literally falling off the shelves. They have new inventory on huge carts in the middle of the isles making it impossible to shop with a cart. The disorganization is a massive turnoff. I feel anxious everytime I shop at this location. I searching for a different store.

  • Natalie Art

Decent prices, don't go on the weekend if you don't like crowds. The like had over 25 people waiting to pay. It was a big crazy having to be packed on there while people are still sick. Most people here don't wear masks. The have surprisingly good options for tin can teas. I'm in love! Didn't find the dish drying rack that we needed. Surprised they didn't have it.

  • Sarah Farris

This place is always packed, both with products and people. The line always looks daunting but they are used to it and even with 30 people ahead of you it only takes about 10 minutes to get through. They always have just what I want plus several things I didn't know I needed until I saw them. My family comes from an hour and a half away to shop here for Christmas

  • Nathan W-I

Lots of random stuff, good deals most of the time if you know what to look for and where to look for it. Problem is the checkout line can sometimes take a long time as Marshalls and Homegoods' customers go to the same line, which can crowd the walkway and make the wait longer. Other than that overall a good place to shop for discounted and discontinued products.

  • Greg Marino

Entered the line at 7:46pm. 45 minutes in and I am still in line with probably 15 minutes to go. HIRE MORE PEOPLE. 5 out of 15 cash registers open is criminal with how busy this is. The amount of people that walk out of here is insane. Pay more. Get more employees. You’ll make more money because you actually retain your customers. Chick Fil A business model 101

  • Joanna K

This store is terrible. Not enough registers. Waste of time. Shopped for 45 min and then saw that the line was wrapped around the store. Came next day and it was stilled wrapped. They need to have registers for both Home Goods and Marshalls. Good selection but what is the use of good selection when a customer has to wait in line for two hours? Very frustrating!

  • Lisa Hetzler

As usual, I wanted to get a small purse but after hitting the button and waiting 5 minutes then again pushing the button and waiting, no help arrived. So I left. For a Tuesday late afternoon the checkout line went around and into HomeGoods. Good thing I wasn't able to get that bag and stand in line for forever. And all checkout cash registers were open. Crazy.

  • CHILLIN W MIKA

Store always has great things however I almost always walk out with nothing putting everything back because the lines are insane. Literally will zig zag twice plus a straight line all the way to the back of the store. They have 15 registers and typically only 3 or 4 open. Reading the comments it sounds like they pay too low to keep anyone unsure.

  • Sabreen D

Waited more than 30 mins in line mid day on a Wednesday. There were still 17 people in front of us (my mom, who was with me, left the line to count), so we left. It would have probably been another 30 minutes had we stayed in line as there were only 3 registers open to checkout people who were pushing carts full of product. What a waste of time.

  • JoAnn Liefer

This was my first time to ever been in a Home Goods store, but I can say it will not be my last time. Fully enjoyed this store. Lots of inventory, lots of great deals. Store clean, personal friendly. Check out line was very busy, this was dealt with a very efficient way of handling the crowd. I was very impressed with the whole experience.

  • Nina Joyner

This is one of the best Marshall’s in the Charlotte area. I find the best quality and best deals here. It’s combined with a Homegoods as well. The lines get long sometimes but they have 12-15 registers working so it goes by fast. If you find something you like here don’t hesitate to buy it, it will be gone the next time you come back.

  • Izzy Schwartz

This particular store is definitely a go to! They have extremely interesting eclectic decor. The items vary by location, and that is why I always go to this one, they have the best inventory. I’ve been shopping there for years. I’ve added pieces to my home that make it look luxurious This Store gets five stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Tuere Dunton-Forbes

I enjoy shopping at Marshall's and Home Goods, but this location needs to come up with a better plan for "check-out". Their current plan is not working! Today was the 3rd time I left my full cart in the aisle because the "check-out" line was ridiculously long. It doesn't matter the day of the week, it's always the same experience.

  • Majdolin Zeidan

I don’t know how this place is getting 4.1 stars!! Marshals, do not teach their employees customer service whatsoever. The restrooms are always awfully a mass. Today I went to return some thing that I purchased on TJ Maxx credit card without a receipt and this company is the only company left that has no receipt pulling system.

  • Two Of You Charlotte

It's a nice big store, but for the love of all that's holy could they please HIRE SOME CASHIERS? The last time I was there, the line reached all the way to the back of the store. On a weekday, no less. It's absurd to be that understaffed. If they can't keep enough people to run the store, they need to either pay more or close.

  • ecara

I'm addicted to store marshals I've known many store marshals but the one left in rivergate seems to me the most disorganized store with little and very ugly assortment is very unclean. It seems to me that it needs much more unfortunately I think that the person who manages it does not have enough vision to be able to operate

  • Brandon Co

Staff are very friendly and helpful. This location is always busy so it’s hard to find a parking space and the line is usually wrapped around the building lol. Last time I was there I found some good items but put them back due to the line being so long. If you can get there early maybe you will have better luck haha.

  • Don

Went in on a Sunday, waited an hour (no kidding) in line because only 3 cashiers. Why doesn’t this place have self checkout? Also, if the manager is reading this, please don’t have your staff ask guest to sign up for a credit card when people have been waiting an hour. That’s just a disservice for everyone.

  • Amy Rogers

This store has SO many decorating options. Be careful when you go because so days will be a madhouse. For example, before holidays and some Saturdays. Some things will be on the pricery side but it's cheaper than pottery Barn or pier one. The line in store also can look crazy long but it usually moves fast.

  • joy plyler

Home good rea road is a disaster… messy store..:check out over an hour… slowest clerks I have ever seen… manager starting checking person out began giving direction to person in line over 10 minutes… many customers began yelling at him. He continued. Many people in front of us left. New management needed .

  • Duane Johnson

Check out line are extremely crowded at this time of year (very, very long lines). It was so bad I left all the items I picked up to purchase. Not sure if it's a staffing issue but I'd rather go to another Marshalls location. Almost everytime I visit this location, the check out line are usually long.

  • Tonya

I live for Home Goods!! I cannot just go in the store to browse. The shelves are always stocked full of cute finds and I just love digging through all the hidden treasures. I've bought books, furniture, bedding, dinnerware, you name it. I can always find great brands for a low price. Highly recommend!

  • Maksim Rudik

I have too many questions to the manager of this store. Line is the worst I’ve ever experienced. In order to buy a shirt you have to wait in line sometimes more than an hour because only three cashier on duty instead of fifteen available. Would not recommend to anyone until they fix the situation.

  • Eric Boyle

Excellent variety of merchandise. My wife and I always enjoy going to browse the new piece of merchandise that they put out. The items change frequently and there are always new items. The store itself is pretty well organized. There are always employees straightening and putting things out/back.

  • JD C

Lines are way too long.... please please please build another Home Goods some place close to this one to relieve the customer. Good grief- I've left my shopping cart on an isle to many times just so I don't have to wait in that crazy line. And the bad part is- they have every cash register open.

  • Robin Champaign

Good merchandise. Long, long, lines wrapped from front to back of store. No express check out. Left my merchandise as it was far too long (at least an hour wait) to check out. Many others left their carts of merchandise rather than spend the time to wait. Easier to order from other vendors.

Great location, and always has a good selection in their store. Could definitely use more registers since they have two stores combined into one with the amount of registers for one store. We actually ended up putting our full shopping cart back and leaving because the line was ridiculous!

  • Crystal Maisel

I love what home goods offers. Trinkets, food, kitchenware, blankets, furniture, rugs, bedding, and so much more. I tend to spend a lot of time in here finding pieces for decor. And a lot of the decor has a dual purpose. What they carry constantly changes, so it's worth going back.

  • Princess Small

Ayman is super patient and nice. Some women tried to test his patience by being rude during a super busy Saturday evening, but he remained calm and professional, which is better than I would have done in his shoes. He also happened to help us find the perfect rug. Thanks, Ayman!

  • Robin Frisby

This place was extremely crowded. They have nice stuff if you want to comb the racks for clothes. We found a few pieces of clothes but when we went to check out the line was so long. At least 30 people ahead of us. I wanted the stuff so we waited, but I would not do that again.

  • Fotini Spero

This place is a zoo! The lines are so long you can't even shop because they go through the store! You have to wait in line to return something for hours? Figure something out people, it gets worse every time I try to go. I never buy anything because who has time for that line?!

  • Joyce Brown

I went to your store to shop for two things, a pair of shoes, and candles. I found the candles that I liked, but notice you didn't have a variety of women shoes. Just sneakers and boots. Even with the holidays coming, I thought you would have some nice dressy women shoes out.

  • Brooke Head

Very disorganized. I tried to find a small metal trashcan and 5 out of the 6 on the shelves were broken. Aisles are so packed it's hard to navigate a cart through. Spent almost 30 min in the check out line. Still the usual good deals if you're willing to dig through stuff.

  • Mo P

Love Marshalls but OMG the line to the register was ridiculous! It was literally all the way back of HomeGoods! I mean they have a great selection of things at this location but beware of how busy it is. I was not at all prepared and not to mention I’m 8 months pregnant...

  • Barbara Mintz

For some unknown reason it was not crowded today. Usually you wait online for a good 15 minutes, today I went right through. Even though I did not buy anything their prices are within reason. The shelves were well stocked and all their merchandise was very organized.

  • Erin Bronkar

I’m floored by all the good reviews! If they wouldn’t try to cram so much in there, so that you can barely get a cart down an aisle, then I’d give them more stars. Kudos to their quick checkout line though. It scares you to see it but they definitely keep it moving.

  • Jill Shaeffer

Place was so filled with stuff in the aisles you could barely move. We asked to have a $200 table marked down due to scratches and stains. She offered $185. Seriously? That's barely even the tax. Won't be back to this store. They think pretty highly of themselves.

  • Patricia Hall

Third time this year I left my purchases on the floor and left. The line went to the back of the store and only 4 clerks were open. They really aren’t serious about running a business. Kohls and Target have a great selection and they have staff to check you out.

  • Alana Belch

Seems the store has added additional aisles full of merchandise and put so close that 2 buggies can not get through. Lines were to be expected for checkout but very difficult to get through the store to shop. Heard many comments and saw many folks just walk out.

  • Amany Bekhit

Went to return a cracked mirror, had my 80-yr old dad, & 2 kids, whom one of them was sick. Shelly the manager was so unwilling to offer any help locating the transaction, or even putting the $$ on a gift card. She was rude, aggressive with a strange attitude!

  • TM Author

Must Be Between SEASONS. Selection wasn't as good as it usually is. Cashier line moved quickly and efficiently though. Perhaps the dog days of summer is the wrong time to shop here. Nonetheless it was pretty busy, and the narrow aisles are always frustrating.

  • Deborah Fulton

My best friend and I have shopped this store for years. Besides taking forever to get checked out, today the store looked like a bomb had gone off and was not clean. The ladies room was nasty. Going to have to find another store. Used to be our favorite.

  • Norm Perreault

Spent 25 minutes in line. 25. Let that drink in for a minute. Whereas most retailers don't want you to wait even a moment, Marshalls and HomeGoods are fine with consistently enormous lines snaking throughout the building. Don't waste your time visiting.

  • LM Lamb

The staff are always helpful and friendly. Very popular location so the line is ALWAYS long, but it moves fast. The clothing choices haven't been very stylish the last few trips. Also, kinda shop worn. Hope it improves for holiday season shopping

  • Julie Cunningham

65-75 people waiting in line Sat. (2-26) and they only had THREE registers opened. This has become common for this particular store in the last 6-8 months. Who ever is managing this store has no idea how to manage. The place was a mess as well.

  • theresa

I hate going to this place because it is always SO BUSY! I've never been there when the line didnt consist of at least 20 people in front of me. Kind of unorganized. Probably my least favorite homegoods/Marshall's I've ever been too. But i

  • Stacy Lippard

This Marshall’s in Charlotte. It’s one of my favorite stores to come to when I’m over in the area . This store always offer a great selection of clothing for the entire family. They have tons of products, that they put up daily. With this

  • Interdimensional Warrior

Horrible!!! Was treated like a criminal there. Wanted to use store credit that my hubby gave me but came to find out that his name was on it and it is new store policy that the name on the drivers license has to match what they put on the

  • Tammy Morgan

The checkout in this store is ridiculous! I needed to make a return. There are 5 cashiers and there are 50+ people in line, and they make you wait in the same line as those purchasing to return. Marshalls and Homegoods are awesome stores,

  • Josh Ehlers

Hit or miss, like any off price Store. However, this Homegoods probably has the best selection of furniture and decor of any in the Charlotte area. We've found several nice solid wood pieces. Can be very busy and there will be a long line

  • Ellen Bleau

Wow.. I can't understand their new policies. I purchased a 25 dollar blouse that did not work out. I misplaced my receipt so asked for a store credit. I was told that without the receipt I could not return it at all. It was a new policy

  • Henry Richardson

This is a dangerous combination. The doors opened at 10 but the women were already lined up outside waiting to get in. It's been the same way month after month. The cashier lines are long but it only takes a few minutes to check out.

  • Francy Rodriguez

The place is clean, the staff is nice, and there is a lot of stuff you can buy here at a great price like natural deodorants. It does tend to be crowded and the line is long to pay but the staff tries to work quick so it moves quick.

  • Carole Sorrell

This store has wonderful bargains but the entire time I am shopping there, I am dreading the checkout process. Sometimes wait is 30 minutes to pay for the merchandise. The process is very organized, but I long for a shorter wait.

  • Rachel Ward

Went there at noon on a weekday. The store was at capacity and there was a line outside. It wasn't a super long wait. They have directional markers on the floor but nobody was following them and staff were not enforcing.

  • Nicole Rorie

I'm so happy I went here. I found the amethyst slate pictured below in my photo. I also found a really pretty bird hor d'oeuvre server from India. I also got these trees in the next picture from this great decor store.

  • Sean Ankenbruck

No matter what time of day or day of the week you shop at this HomeGoods, the line is always wrapped around the store. Be sure to add in 30+ minutes of buffer to your shopping time as you will spend it waiting in line.

  • Nick

Way better then a regular Marshall's to be honest. Way more clothes to choose from. The only down side id say is that there aren't many employees working at the register. As you can see in the photo, the store is huge.

  • Tracy LaSala

I was there early on Christmas eve, it was busy, line moved fairly quick and was gifted a free roll of wrapping paper. I normally have to wait a while to check out when I go there but this visit went smoothly.

  • Savio Barreto

Marshalls offers a diverse selection at great prices, making it a good place for budget-friendly shopping. However, be prepared for potentially long lines, as the store might have limited cashiers available.

  • James Reid

Had to quickly get a pair of shorts for my son. Changing room was closed so you can take something home and return it if it doesn't fit within 30 days. Store had the image of restocking with clothes all over

  • K P

Nicest HomeGoods store that I have found since moving to Charlotte and I have visited several stores. Full furniture department, carpets, art and everything that the normal person would need for their home.

  • Deborah Porter

So many wonderful items for each season already: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The prices are great throughout the store anyway so this is the place to go. I love the collection of glass Reindeer.

  • Pilar Mora

customer service at this store is horrible! Every day, all day people come in and just 3 cashier's to pay!!! Thats not fair!! Long lines around the store, and nobody cares? Nobody is in charge? Wow!
