If you both something in this store it will be ALWAYS problem to return back,even the next day.They will look for something even small spot to have excuse and do not except stuff back. For example,I bought yesterday small pan , but my sister say that she already bought me all set of pans.So, today after work I went to the store to return it back. After 20 minutes waiting in the line ,I come close to the cashier to the same young Asian guy ,who helps me yesterday. I was so happy and tell him that I need to return some staff back. Right away he say“ Hold on ,I have to ask my mananger”.He call someone by name Mrs.Samantha. This lady come ,on front of her workers and long line behind me, didn’t even look at my site , loudly tell him “she can’t return , she cooked and now she need to return???”I want to tell her that I just bought yesterday, I didn’t even have a chance to cook”, but she left, totally ignore me!! Mrs.Samantha Hova not professional and DO NOT respect costumers!:( She doesn’t know how to SOLVE problems. Instead , she shows her workers how they can talk to the people next time:(Shame on you Msr.Hova and also the person who hired you for this position!

Very bad experience. The manager is so nasty and rude . I always shop in this marshals store but I have never dealt with any manager till today, I went for return or exchange , they made me wait for the manager almost 30 minutes . They kept calling her and calling her , i don’t know if she was in the store or out of it , we were waiting for her, me and other customers, and when she came I talked to her nicely, and asked her for the exchange ,she responded rudely ,she didn’t want to give no exchange or refund. I don’t know what kind of manager is that lady , she doesn’t even know how to talk respectfully. When I told her that’s not fair to pay for something that you won’t even use , she started yelling at me and told me that’s not her problem, if you don’t want it throw it out . what Kind of management is this. I’m not gonna shop there anymore. This impolite manager made me so mad , bad experience. I hope she won’t do the same thing to other customers.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Marshall's, and it's undoubtedly a great store for finding stylish and affordable clothing. The variety of brands and styles they offer is impressive, and you can discover some hidden gems at excellent prices. However, the reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is the limited availability of sizes. While I found several pieces I loved, I was disappointed that they didn't have my size for some of them. It can be frustrating when you have your eye on a particular item and can't find it in the right size. Despite this setback, the staff was helpful and offered to check if the missing sizes were available at nearby locations, which was a plus. I appreciate their willingness to assist. Overall, Marshall's is a fantastic place for budget-friendly fashion, but be prepared to hunt for your size or visit multiple times to get the complete selection you desire.

I went in marshals today and the woman in there were being racist, Me being a black girl in a store full of people that are not like me Of course I was the only person being watched. They were following me, talking about me and watching me the whole time I was in there. I felt unsafe because they kept talking to each other and then looking at me, and they kept rolling their eyes, the women in this store have a bad attitude. I was looking for hair products and everytime I come in there the 2 women by the dressing room stop doing what their doing and literally stare at me. I’ve never stole from any store in my life so the fact that they watch me is very annoying.

Love love love coming here! I come here more for the decor than clothing, since they seem to lack a sizeable plus-size section. All items I've found have been very high quality and the seasonal stuff never disappoints. The lines here are usually long, but it makes sense since a lot of people come here. I have patience so the chdckout line isn't terrible, and it gives me a chance to view everything on the shelves in the checkout line. The one deducted star is due to the fact that often when I go to the decor aisle in the morning, a group of employees are always shouting and talking about inappropriate things, while also blocking the aisles.

This store is a great place to find all your necessities, from clothing to footwear to makeup and hygiene essentials. The prices are very reasonable, and you can find name brands at a fraction of the cost of other stores. The selection is vast, and the store is always well-stocked. However, the customer service is not the best. The employees are friendly, but they are often busy stocking shelves and don't have much time to help customers. The aisles are narrow, and the store can get crowded, especially on weekends. But overall, this is a great place to shop for a variety of items at great prices!

This location was one of my favorite stores until tonight. They need to be better trained at their next customer service course. We are at the line to pay for our purchase about 15 minutes before closing and there is only one cashier open, she has 2 people making separate purchases as I am waiting to be called 2 employees jump the line to purchase their items dismissing the fact that there is a line. When we are finally called at cashier #5, I asked for the manager to state my complaint and informed Jazmine how her staff was inconsiderate and that I would be putting a review on this matter.

I was told I can return stuff from Tj max at Marshals so I went to marshals to return the items I bought from Tj Maxx I was told I can’t return the items because because the item was not attached the way she wants it to be attached everything has tickets on I never used it I took it back the I bought it as I explained to her that’s how I bought it she still refuses, I was treated badly by the manager KAREEN I was yelled at And I was very disappointed and embarrassed after shopping at these stores over 10 years as a customer I feel these unprofessional people needs customer service training

With the entire enterprise working to make everything possible to bring the best deals to the shelfs of Marshalls, it does not worth when a customer gets an attitude from a young, untrained, worker who ruins an expected quality of a customer service. In short, a customer got pushed behind by a worker carrying a cart, customer asked not to be pushed and a worker simply answered "No one pushed you, BEACH". I don't agree with such attitude and do think that every respectable store should train their staff some simple rules or send them back home to grow up.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolute disrespect and unprofessionalism especially someone named “Fay”, not sure how she was hired or allowed to be in customer service. Spoke to Valerie the store manager who said she will be on verbal warning but will also try to file a complaint against her online. I have no problem with refusing to return an item but definitely have a problem with the way she spoke to me saying “ I don’t understand” and laughing. I’m 8 months pregnant and she aggravated me that I had to ask her to leave.

This store has great inventory and makes a strong effort to keep their lines moving but I honestly came to give it five starts because of the customer service of one employee in particular. Her name is XIAO Z!!!!! I’m not sure why, but I get her as my cashier every time I shop at this location and every time she is so polite and so kind. She even gave me good suggestions as to when to come shop to find the items I was looking for. I now must say I shop here because of her. Just wonderful experience

I used to like this particular Marshall's location but lately its been very shabby and dirty, the merchandise and presentation has gone down hill.its obviously being mismanaged. What bothered me most was in the shoe department there was no longer a mirror to see how the shoes look. Ridiculous! I had to walk all the way over to the men's department to find a mirror. Inconvenient and I doubt I'll be back to this Marshall's for awhile until they get better management and clean up the store.

You can find great treasures here, the perfect gift but you need patience and coming at the right time. A loved one works here (shout out to the Glam Squad!) so i know how hard these folks work to keep the store running morning to night, holidays etc. —- it’s so annoying when customers think they can just mess up a pile and are so entitled to leave their mess for others to clean. If you never worked in retail, it’s a hard job! Glad to have this store in our neighborhood.

I live right near this Marshalls but I honestly rather take the train to Gateway which is way better, or Atlantic, because This one is dirty and bad, slow, and I’m being watched every time I go in there. How can you comfortably shop when you have ppl over your shoulder watching your every morning. I’ve been going to this Marshalls for a long time from when I was younger I’m an adult now, the people that they have working here are rude. *DO NOT GO TO THIS MARSHALLS!!!!

It's a terrible store. I bought these shoes on September 13, 2022, and a few days ago they had a worn-out sole. I just wore them on the street, used them for their intended purpose, I wanted to return these shoes to the store, but the seller at Marshals told me that everything was fine and I could not return these shoes. I really enjoyed going to this store, but after this incident, I don't recommend anyone to go to Marchals on 86th Street in Brooklyn

Awesome location, very convenient. I usually go at night time around 9PM for 10 to 15 minutes to look around quickly. However, at night time around 9PM (they close at 9:30PM), the staff tell you they are closing soon and try to rush you as if they close in the next 10 minutes. They also close the front gate halfway at night and I've seen multiple people hit their heads on the gate. They're looking for a lawsuit to open up with that procedure.

Always dirty because customers not responsible, always huge lane, but it is because everyone like this place. Prices chip. once I pay for big candle 8$, and on my eyes woman take it out, I told to cashier that it was mine , she said "no I wrap it and put in your bag" but when I am got home it wasn't there!!! I was upset, but when I came back next day, tell this story and show my receipt, they apologize and give me candle back.

My husband and I have been coming here for years and TODAY was the first time we’ve ever gotten a cashier that did not want to wrap a ceramic item we bought. But she didn’t even ask us if we wanted it wrapped, after we paid, she just stood there waiting for us to leave, but when she looked at me I said “ aren’t you going to wrap that? She said “it’s big and I can’t wrap it.” The service here sucks! And it will never change.

This specific store is always crowded during the Holidays but it also offers a huge array of items at lower cost. I have been to this store multiple times throughout the years and I had no complaints with any employee or cashier. They are very patient even if you are holding up the line + they are very courteous as once I picked up a dirty bundle of socks they told me to change it with a new one.

Although this location does have a lot of good things and decent prices, it's always a mess. Clothes are dropped and trampled om, things are all over the place, sizes are almost never kept appropriately grouped together. And the check out line is always too long to even bother making a purchase. I've been trying to shop here since they opened 20 years ago but it's never worth the time or energy.

Old filthy store, highly disorganized, looks like floors haven't been mopped in a month. Doesn't seem to bother regular shoppers. Was crowded and busy on a Tues at 4p. Manager on duty handled his staff efficiently to get the line moving. Cashiers seemed overheated w/o air conditioning on a warm day. Prime location near a bus line. 2-hr on-street metered parking @ $1.50 per hr.

There was a very bad smell in the shop. It is overcrowded, there is not enough space for people to shop comfortably. The spaces between the shelves are very narrow, so people push each other.Lots of things (shoes, clothes, bags and many other things) scattered on the floor. I didn't like the place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Better find another store.

Pretty good place to shop have a good deals if you can find your size. And the stiff are mostly very nice boy they're working a lot during this holiday season let's show them some appreciation it deserve it people should clean up and not leave a mess with these poor folks to clean up after you do the right thing be neat happy holidays everybody

It’s a decent store,sometimes it’s a hit or miss when it comes to finding clothes etc it has limited selections and sizes it’s rare to find designer but not impossible sometimes their is a long line but usually goes by quick have been coming to shop in this store for years and it has improved compared to 5-10 years ago but could be better

It’s a pretty decent store. Just what I dislike is it’s too many people in there, and when there’s many people in there, the lines are long. Also some merchandise, toys and shoes are being misplaced on other sections of the store which what I really hate the most that happens in this Marshall’s store. Overall, this store is decent.

My last few visits to the store, I found your store employees and managers really loud and obnoxious. Some employee was even repeatedly using loud obscene language in reference to people, whether it be about customers or coworkers. As a family friendly store this is inappropriate behavior and the owner should consider restaffing.

From the workers on the floor to the store manager, everyone is just plain rude. Honestly, this Marshall's has zero customer service and need to be better trained. The manager regularly loses her temper and yells at reprimanded customers for not moving fast enough along the checkout line. Clearly they do not value the clientele.

Not a good place to go, over priced items that don’t work or aren’t even good half the time, and sometimes the items are just wide open, toy aisle is always a mess and shoes are just everywhere. Store has good selection , if you have two hours to wait the line to pay for it. So many times I shopped a cart full till check out , I end up dropping everything and leaving the store empty handed. Waisted time shopping , save yourself the trip . Car meter ticket would not be enough to cover the checkout line time.

The air wasn't working and they had a very loud extractor fan going, it was awful. There were some very great deals inside..I love the household items and the prices were good. The wait at checkout was very long, 3 persons infront of me left. It was a good visit, definitely will return.

I have come here over the years and never had much luck finding anything good in the clothing section. They have some decent household items and kitchenware. Unfortunately their isles are spaced very closely together and there doesn’t seem to be any successful management practices here.

They got a wide selection of stuff but a lot of stuff are open the lines are to the back of the store their staff needs to be more organized there is just so much clutter everywhere. Their bathrooms are creepy especially their elevator. Some people don’t keep their mask on.

It was much better shopping at this Marshalls location this time. The manager was making sure that everything was running smoothly and the display of items was much neater. The cashier that helped me with my purchases was polite, respectful and professional.

Whoever keeps changing the layout, please stop. It is making no sense. Can't find anything anymore. PLUS aisles in certain areas like the kitchen and bedding/bath are so narrow you can barely walk without knocking into someone, let alone with a cart.

Great selections at this site as always. I’m not crazy about the extra row of shoes they added. It makes it too tight to walk past someone already in the aisle. A bit of a hazard to me. Otherwise I’d give 5 Stars
