I came here to Pick up a toy for a birthday gift. I chose a small push car, the package was big and it was opened at the taping part. It was the last one and I was in a rush so I just grabbed that one. At check out I kindly asked the lady at the register is it possible if she could re tape it closed because it is a gift. If it was for my daughter I would’ve not even worried about that & took it home like that. I was going to the birthday party right after the store visit so I didn’t have time to do it. She called another lady over and the lady looks at me and says “oh we don’t give discounts for opened toy boxes” I’m confused? I didn’t ask for a discount. I was never even thinking of asking for a discount?? Because I’m a minority younger woman she stereotyped me sadly thought I was out seeking for a discount when all I clearly asked the lady for was for her to re-tape it to close it up. Looking at someone and assuming they’re seeking discounts because of their race or appearance is very disrespectful.

This store is addicting! Lots of unique finds for great prices. Love their notebooks and craft supplies when they have them in. Great place to shop for kids clothes too. I give them a 3 because they don't have a baby changing station in the bathrooms or a family restroom to accommodate babies. I'd sent them a message about this before as it seemed strange that they'd sell baby clothes and toys, but not have a baby changing area. They replied that this was for the comfort of their shoppers. I find that unacceptable to be honest as this has forced me in the past to change my child in the car & in South Carolina, the temps here get really high - dangerous for babies. The other alternative was to go to another local store and use theirs as was told to me by the cashier when I'd asked if they had a changing area. So "for the comfort of their shoppers" doesn't include mom's or babies I guess. I've otherwise always liked this store, just find that insensitive.

I typically love this store but today I was so irritated.... people were waiting in line and 4 ladies were behind the counter but only one was working a register...one manager was talking to a lady about how they do mark downs...even coming from behind the counter to say "like these socks for example!" Then went on to give her other examples...This went on for nearly 10 minutes... they were still talking when I finally was checked out and was leaving...while people are just standing in line for what felt like forever..another lady that looked to be a manager was talking to the only cashier about marking down a purse for a customer and going back and forth about it then finally getting permission to mark it down...all of this is happening while there is 5 of us just standing there waiting to check out...IMHO it was just rude and not courteous of customers' time...

EXCELLENT ..because Marshalls is excellent. WIsh that the plus size area was larger than just 2 racks... its difficult to shop for family and friends with such a small selection. Marshall's has great values and I especially enjoy their home decor section which changes frequently. I can always find a quick gift if I need it here. I wish there were more people tending the cash registers when it is crowded. I was in there this week and while 5 people were standing at the registers with the lights on -- only two were accepting customers. Im guessing the others were checking themselves out for the day ... So it might be worth noting, Marshalls-- look at your busy times and stagger when your cashiers leave so that a long line of people are not looking at just two working cashiers --but are being handled efficiently. Otherwise-- excellent customer service!

Was looking for beer mugs and where I usually find them they weren’t there no more. Associates would look at me and offer no help. Every time I come here is like they are more worried if I’m going steal than asking me if I need help in which I did. As I was walking out I had a very rude lady come out of the corner , slapped her hands on her thighs and sighed at me as I was walking out and did not even tell me to have a good day, it was like if she was mad that I was leaving the store empty handed because I did not find the product I needed and when I asked for help, people seemed pretty bothered. I’ll stick to online shopping like I do. Is sad that there’s people that treat others this way yet I would never do that to them since I work in Customer Service.

I bought a shoes here yesterday, go work then home didn’t wear it yet my husband didn’t know he threw a box revived to a trash , trashed pick up this morning I’m about to wear a shoes realized a bottom is worn out I’m coming to explain it and exchange it but they did accept it because I don’t have a receipt, but I have receipt on my phone they didn’t want it they said it worn out , exactly it bad that why I wanna exchange not return it, I just bought yesterday morning how can it worn out by me if I didn’t wear it yet it, I’m so mad I leave left a shoes there I just throw my 85.79 , never coming back there again .

This Marshall's is very clean and orderly. The clothes were very easy to find and everything was in its place. This is generally the case in nicer neighborhoods. A big plus is that this location sells men's shoes. It seems to be hit or miss when I visit a Marshals but I'm glad that they do. They also have a lot of nice pieces for home decor. My wife and I were able find some nice options for our future home. Great prices, clean, and a nice selection. What else can you ask for.

This Marshalls is organized, and has good finds and prices are decent. Shoe size selection seems to be limited to big foot at times though. Big Con: Not having a diaper changing station!. I had to battle my 11 months old to change his diaper on the floor! Please make some considerate changes to accommodate your costumers with young children. Please. Also.. at least one mirror around the shoe section will prompt some customers to buy more =)

I used to be able to find nice things for myself at Marshalls, but not anymore. The selection of men's merchandise has really dwindled over the past few years. Plus, the quality isn't there like it used to be. And as if that's not bad enough, I had to kill a large cockroach to stop it from wandering around by the men's belts, just so I could at least take a look at them. Poor selection, low quality, and bugs are enough to keep me away.

Unfair hiring practice, someone I know who is an exceptional worker was interviewed by Jenn who looked her up and down and gave her a 2 second interview. The person has retail experience and she is a good young person but the young lady said Jenn was so uninterested in interviewing her and was quick and rude and the store manager should not allow it but maybe she do t want to do the job and people can’t get jobs for this reason

I live to visit this place. And their was a TJ Maxx across the street. Selection was ok. Lots of clearance going on. Then. I wish shoppers would stop opening the perfumes and colognes. You can't purchase when the package is ripped up from its customers. I did get a good set of towels for a good price and a matching candle to give as a present. Love the purses. Shoes too.

This Marshalls is fairly standard, it’s generally organized/not super difficult to locate what you might be looking for, and I can always find good deals on cool items. The women’s bathroom didn’t appear to have any sort of baby changing table; I had to change a diaper on the floor of the handicap stall, so that might be something to keep in mind.

I went to the store to return items that was purchased three weeks ago with the receipt in hand and was offered a store credit because I did not have the card I used to make the original purchase and told me to come back when I get the card. I did not argue with the clerk and after I return the clothing I will never set foot in that store again.

The mens section is very weak. Very minimal trendy brands & clothing for men. The women's section takes the majority of the store. While mens dept is left for scraps. I leaving this post so Marshalls can get better, very few marshalls stores have a decent mens section. Men should have just as great of a selection as the women do.

This place has nothing valuable inside. Literally nothing. You are better off going to the goodwill to buy clothes. Everything here seems to come from the clearance rack at some other department store; clothes nobody bought nor wanted and for good reason. If you're a broke mofo then sure come here enjoy the stench.

It was a nice store! I love Marshall's and we went in looking for some earrings for myself. They had a decent selection and they were a great deal. We ended up purchasing two pairs both about 14.99 a pair and they look great. Dainty and simple for any occasion and they are sterling silver and cubic zirconia.

I came today the lady register #5 cashier 1113 doesn’t have manners how treat customers , i came the store to spent money and with the guy the start laughing I don’t know if he is manager very wrong and she said in front of me that’s she is tired so she shouldn’t come to work if she feels like that.

My experience was not good...no one asked if we needed any help... but, the ONLY bright spot was Mr. Barron, a cashier. He was pleasant, courteous, and helpful. The other cashiers we're not smiling or friendly. Customer service is more than just cashing out customers. Training is very important!

Marshalls was ok, found everything I needed... The only thing I had a problem with was when I reached the cashier and I went to swipe my card, I don't know if it was a system error or something but my card didn't went through. But overall experience was ok.... System Error foreign card......

Great selection all the time. There are tons of name brand shoes on clothes that you can get at fractions of the prices that you would normally pay at the big retailers. Their return policy is also very fair as well. Rock bottom prices on kids clothes and men's clothes in Rivergate

I love this store and how easy it is to purchase or return if needed. Lorena the manager was so nice and even when they were so busy on a weekend afternoon, she took the time to assist me in all I needed. Emily was the cashier and she also was very nice and attentive.

I'm a small-sized woman, who's always had trouble finding her size in regular department stores. I'm always able to find what I need in Marshalls, & it's other affiliated stores. Plus, I don't worry about seeing what I'm wearing, or bought, on other people. Love them!

One of the ladies walked around the entire store to help me find a stuffed animal my son had lost while we were shopping. She stopped what she was doing and found it in ten minutes. It was so nice to have the customer service of going out of her way to help us.

I am thrilled to find Marshall's near my home (Steele Creek)...great offerings at reasonable prices like the Marshall's I went to in New York City..their housewares & pet departments?are fantastic & great place to pick up greeting cards, gift bags, etc.

Seriously AMAZING selection of clothes! I got away with an absolute steal for clothes. 290$ and I got several Calvin Klein dresses, DKNY, a blazer, 2 shirts, pair of pants, swimsuit, and shoes. One of the best selections I've found in a Marshalls!

Came in yesterday with a problem with a purchase I made while visiting the beach. The associate that helped me, I believe her name was Lenore, went well above and beyond to help rectify the situation! She is what customer service is meant to be!

Great selection of items as always. Store is kept pretty organized and stocked considering the nature of this type of store. I would say it’s better organized than the tjmaxx down the road. Good deals here as expected and staff was friendly

Had the worst experience with the cashier. Very rude which was very surprising. She threw the bag at my 5 year old while the other persom next to her was laughing. It’s so sad that some people can be like that with others.

Great selection of spring blouses, surprised by the number of plus sizes and super excited to pick up son Lily Pulitzer pieces. Had to make a return and it was very simple and easy to do. Fun colors and nice prices.

Enjoyed the experience from the first step entering the store. Isles were near, no clothing on the floor. It was clean and easy to go through the aisles. Thanks to all the wonderful employees that make this happen.

Nice place to shop and find designer items at baragin prices. However, I went there to exchange two pair of shoes bought as a gift. One warning...if you wear a WIDE with shoe, Marshalls is not for you! Lol

Lots to choose from, shoes, electronics, toys, kitchen ware, and everything in between! The dressing room is nice and well lit, and the prices are great! Associates are always friendly also.

Always crowded never come during anything they never have enough cashiers which doesn't make sense to me. When you find something you just end up leaving because it just takes too long.

This is one of those places that after you have been to the usual big name brand stores with no success you visit this store and run into unique deals that make sense for you.
