This is my Marshall’s. I’ve bought almost every decor piece from this place, so here are some tips: Come Tuesday through Thursday to avoid crowds. Try noon right after clean up and major restocking times. Have patience because you’ll find something awesome but you may have to be observant. Don’t bring small kids or impatient spouses unless you’re planning to come and go quickly. Snack before you shop so you don’t buy too much. Check out their skin care, hair care and personal care section. There are plenty of organic and vegan options to choose from. Many clean products made in the US. But make sure you watch out for real organic, reef safe and vegan PETA certification on those bottles. The companies will label their products but only certified products are qualified for such descriptions. Not a lot of options as far as shoes go but check often and you’ll find deeply discounted footwear. During the winter, they have the best jackets and most of the knits are found year round. At the end of January and right after summer ends, they have some major sales. You can return just about anything except for red labeled items, in case it doesn’t work out. Since the fitting rooms are closed… The staff is friendly and when you ask for help but seem always preoccupied, don’t take that to heart, they’ve always been that way. If you’re redecorating your office, check out the very back they have beautiful options. The pillow sets are fairly inexpensive and great quality if you’re reading the labels. Plenty of classics: wool jackets, black or navy blazers, good sourced jeans, full length trench coats, crisp white poplin shirts, chic sneakers, and more. Read your labels carefully, and shop quality over looks. If you’re not careful, you’ll buy something cute that you’ll throw away in less than six months.

1. In this plaza, there are professional beggars. I was asked twice today. African Americans I guess. A middle aged man and a child around 10 years old. Before I go into Marshalls the man with a small basket said he is xxxxxxx organization. Who knows? When I got out of Marshalls, a child also carries a small basket asked for money. I said I already gave. The child behaves more like an adult, saying gave it to who? I said a man. The child said you did not gave it to me! This happened at noon time. I thought they might need food in cold winter regardless what they claimed such and such. I suggested look around in that area and be careful. 2. This store is good for shopping clothes. Expensive clothes displayed in the very front row with red tag discount but still between $100-$200. Most of them are sweaters. You can’t tell they are made in good materials, but maybe because of the brands. Not worth it. 3. Parking is horrible!!!

I’ve had two separate occasions where I tried to return things and it’s been a hassle. The first time I paid with my Apple Pay and wanted to return my items. The manager Zu interfered the cashier saying it had to be on the same card. After I told her multiple times I paid with my Apple Cash and had to show her my transaction list. The second time my mom went to return a shirt that was too big. I’ve worked at marshalls I know the rules. And the marshalls tag was missing but still had the sellers tag intact. The manager said that it smelled like detergent and that it didn’t show the description on the scanner. There’s no way it was washed if the tag was intact and attached to the size tag. Additionally on the scanner it has a description of the items. With a receipt. And refused to return a $10 shirt that fit too big. Never been so embarrassed for trying to return items. Not even high end stores do that for pricey items.

We love Marshall's at the Metropolitan in downtown charlotte. They make us feel like home. The BEST Marshall's for the company. We have been to the ones up North but this one is truly the best customer service of all the chain. David, The Store Manager and his associates, all of them, are truly great compared to other Marshall's and TJMaxx stores. I come to that one in the Metropolitan of all them from New York and Boston due to awesome service we get. I don't think I have been to a department store in 3-5 years because of this Marshall's. Forget the Belk's, Dillard's, Macy's, and Nordstrom's compared to this store. The manager of the store will make you feel like you are in Park Avenue. One of the best stores in the country to shop. My whole family goes there. Thanks to the staff at this Marshall's, better than any other! We certainly will be coming continually and giving our business to you.

I am a regular customer of this location( Sharon Amity Rd). It has Excellent selection and reasonable prices makes me come back. But I don't like the fitting room condition.It looks never been cleaned and there always are all dust from clothing and bugs on the floor . This spring I got several bug bites all over my body after trying on dozens of clothes. I even got bug bites by shoes I bought there. I suffered itches for 2 weeks. I recently stopped by the store Hoping things changed after dressing room remodeling. It looks nice now but still it is dirty and needs CLEANING regularly. I got bug bites again. I hope my review will help the condition of the store and the customer.

This Marshall’s in Charlotte near SouthPark Mall. It’s one of my favorite stores to come to when I’m over in the area . Just usually for a meeting of some sort, so I’ll stop by. This store always offer a great selection of clothing for the entire family. They have tons of products that they get put up daily. This store usually gets multiple shipments in weekly, so they have so much great stuff to offer to there customers. With a clean store and friendly staff, it makes you want to come back. They have lots of home furnishings and furniture. It’s in a great location with a lot of other stores around. You never can go wrong when shopping at a awesome Marshall’s Dept Store!

Marshall's has a little bit of everything! Name brands like Nike,Champion,Nasa,Volcom,Calvin Klein, and many more at low prices that's affordable for most! They have home,electronics,health and beauty,cooking,shoes,fragrances and lots of clothes! If your looking for an outfit for the weekend or last minute gift this is the place to go! With a wide variety of both men and women's clothes, also kids this is like your one stop shop. My favorite part about Marshall's are their prices. I love coming here and getting what I need at the price I can afford! Check them out!

absolutely disorganized. the store looked as if gaggle of angry school age individuals had gone throughout the store wreaking havoc. about 1/4thbif the stores inventory is opened, damaged, or otherwise rendered unuseable/not fit to sell. The decent merhandise that remains is all out of place, not displayed correctly or even attractively. None of the employees seem to have a sense of urgency or know exactly where to begin trying to put the store back in order.. I'd stick with Burlington coat factory or Ross..

it is a very basic and stated store for great name brands at bargain prices so it is a excellent discount clearance Center for shoes clothes and things of that nature for the family. The one thing that makes Marshalls stand out above everyone else in that retail space is the level of customer service. You get Nordstrom's type service and a very inexpensive not cheap price. I like TJ Maxx and Marshalls so much that I have become a very active investor in the company.

Unfortunately, had to stop shopping here as a result of the persistent indifferent staff and periodic spontaneous theft occurrences. I think this place is targeted often as a result of staff being primarily women. Many of the staff have been employed at this location for a significant number of years and I think that has sprouted complacency. It has always confuse me as why some of the most lacking social skills people are adamant about working with the public.

The wait to check out was over 20-30 minutes at 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. Only two registers were open. The line wrapped through the whole queue. Finally, an employee called for as many register staff as possible. 5 registers open but only briefly. Went back to two or three open after about 5 minutes. They still need a separate line for returns only. You should not have to wait 20 or 30 minutes just to return an item.

Ok, the only good thing I can say on this day........ The store looked pretty well organized, however customer service was on the unfriendly side, and the bathrooms was a complete nasty place to come to, the men's bathroom was out of order, and women's bathroom was something that I just couldn't believe my eyes, Definitely NOT TOLERABLE. THIS WAS A COMPLETE NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent 40 minutes looking for items because I had a special event. Needed to try on three dresses which would have taken 5 minutes. 3 women standing in the dressing room at 9:15 would NOT let me try on…said they were closing in 15 minutes…EXTREMELY rude!!! If you close at 9:15 then SAY you close at 9:15!!! DEFINITELY WILL NEVER BE BACK! At least the mall lets you try on until they close!!! Wow!

I love this location off of Randolph Road. This location is a bigger location of the marshals here in Charlotte. It has a lot to offer from many different household things to a lot of clothing as well too. I do feel that the women’s clothes take up majority of the store but this majority of the stores that you shop at now in general. I will be going to the store more often when I have time.

The assortment of merchandise never fails to please. Can always find what i need. The long long long check out lines are an inconvenience. But the filthy restrooms are far from ok. Especially during covid. Masks don’t protect you from sheer filth. 10/29/23 update: 3 registers open at 3:05pm with well over 30 customers in line. No shopping carts available. Nothing they sell worth the wait.

I like this Marshalls and I frequently shop here, but the staff the other day was very rude. As my friend tried to return an item that had tags on it and was unworn, the manager pretty much yelled at her, was very rude, and talked down to her like she was a child. I love cotswold but I'll probably just go to the metropolitan location from here on out because of the situation I witnessed.

Couldn't get one happy face in the place to help me. Its like the employee 's cringe when someone needs help and you can feel thier attitudes oozes on you. I had asked 3 people for help and each one looked and acted like they hated thier jobs. Well now Marshalls if off my list of places to shop. Biggest Marshall's in NC and it's the best store! Why? Because they receive the most stock on a DAILY basis. Their prices are amazing for even their designer name brands. And they are constantly marking down items so you're bound to find even better deals on any given day. The staff is polite and the store is clean (until some customers come in and mess it up). Love this place

I brought a mirror to make a return I lost my receipt the lady she was rude to us kept saying you need to take to a different store to return it all I want it it’s a gift card I paid cash for it. I am so disappointed a always do my shopping there I am never coming back to this store. Horrible customer service it’s was 2 block lady’s they have worst customer service ever.

Good selection and the employees there are always friendly. I find sometimes with discount stores like this their inventory is a mess and it's difficult to find what you're looking for, or there are constant carts of new inventory blocking the aisles; but they do a good job keeping the store neat and organized considering the amount of foot traffic it gets each day.

It was terrible!! The cashier was extremely rude. She acted as if customers was bothering her. She didn't talk with any customer service experience. I tried to talk to store manager about her horrible treatment. Nothing was done because she's still working with customers. They really need to fire this LaKesha ( I think that's her name).

This is the most stressful Marshalls I've ever been to. A mess doesn't even begin to explain it. The shoe section is a nightmare. You can barely move through the clothes. I'm sure there is great stuff, but trying to shuffle through everything to find it is the problem. There are much better Marshalls options in Charlotte to go to.

This Marshalls has a lot of the designer brands (Golden Goose sneakers FTW) that are not available in all Marshalls stores so I’ll drive the extra miles to shop at this one. Pros - big parking lot, Chick-fil-A is across the street, Harris Teeter and Publix are also super convenient Cons - not enough shopping carts

I'm absolutely shocked at how many people they allow in their store at one time. The store was very disheveled and rightfully so with so many people and not enough staff but mainly the number of folks occupying the store. I will try again, not during the holiday season and pandemic, to see if this changes.

I used to love this store but recently (even pre-covid) the selection at this location has been lacking. Today, the store was in such disarray as starters were rearranging while people were shopping. A chaotic store is stressful for a shopper. All of the staff were very friendly and checkout was swift.

Perhaps it’s the after Christmas disaster. But it was a total wreck with aisles messy and nothing put in place. Tons of products in open boxes with pieces missing. I’ve never seen it in such bad shape. Many people walking around without masks too- we left sooner than expected just to get out of there.

Always calls extra cashiers as soon as a line starts forming , keeping it neater though an impossible thankless job Marshalls has followed as no longer carrying petite and more plus sizes the average size of Americans but I had years of saving money on my clothes . I a loyal customer . L

If you’ve seen one Marshall’s, you’ve basically seen them all. Nothing really stood out here for me. Low inventory is an issue across the board and nothing specific to this location. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here, but if I was nearby for something else would likely stop in.

Despite only 1 working dirty restroom, the service here was fantastic. The cashiers worked extra hard and fast to accommodate their forever growing line of customers ready to check out. The organization was pretty spot on in this store as well, again, despite how busy it was.

Feels like you’re shopping at a pricey thrift shop. It’s busy, it’s cluttered but if you have the patience to sift through items, you’ll typically find what you. Pro: you’ll find some nice items + parking is good Con: overall store and dressing rooms need a deep clean

Love the staff, very nice, fast on checkout. But the quality of the clothes have really changed. Just bought a very sturdy sweat shirt after washing it, there were holes in the collar, the back and the sides. I didn't bring it back...no receipt, and I had washed it.

This is a nice Marshall's. The cashiers were professional and gave excellent customer service. Forgot the name, but the young lady with blond and black hair. Very professional and nice. They also had nice homegoods and towels. Don't sleep on the hand soap here....

Always love the items to buy only issue was it was suppose to be 3 cashier working but only 1 was working while the other 2 with their light on was busy talking & laughing with one another. Thank you for helping to get the people out in a reasonable time.

Great store, however certain areas need more attention. I was in men's accessories (shaving bags etc.) today and the area was a wreck, no real order. Don't get me wrong the staff and the contents of the store are great, especially for a discount store.

I love Marshall's. Went in tonight just to look around and left with 2 bags. Nice selection of household items. I needed a dish brush and found one. And cutting boards. Oh got a set of glasses. I've just moved into my home so I need a lot of stuff.

It is not the staff that is a problem it is the shoppers they are so pushy and rude. I was very disappointed with their lack of respect. I was with a disabled friend and they were even rude to her. So if you visit this store beware of rude people!

I was in the process of teaching financial literacy to my just turning teen daughter and the cashier started to rush her in the process of paying her money. Great deals when finding a put together outfit but the girls section is not big at all.

Line are always long because it's such a popular place. They go as fast as they can. Prices are pretty decent. The clearance area is great. You will find something for you or family or both at every turn. Go and get your happy face on...lol

Always plenty of great things to choose from at Marshall's. Dropped in after work found gifts for several different Secret Santa and work Christmas Party gift exchanges, stocking stuffers for.my kids, and of course some things for myself!

I needed to return some items. They were very quick and helpful. I had close to $100 worth of stuff to take back. I was given a refund in the form of a store card which was fine because it had been more that 30 days since my purchase.

My favorite part of shopping is having my health regulated by some completely unqualified hourly retail employee. Don't forget your face diaper so you can stand in line for an hour. Worst shopping experience in charlotte.

I always enjoy checking out marshalls. Today I was looking for a fall flower arrangement but didn't exactly find what I was looking for. Also checked out size 5T Toddler clothes but the variety was very limited.

I love Marshall's! You always find something and at a great price. Today I found baking cups with day of the dead designs on them! Which I plan on using for delicious cupcakes this coming day of the dead!

It was too junky and crowded inside the store, too cluttered. Although I did find a great deal for my daughter a house warming gift, I may have to go back and get my other daughter a set.

you can still find good deals as the Christmas season but their prices per item for men run about $6 higher in Mecklenburg county than Marshalls at surrounding towns like Salisbury

The Costwold Marshalls is a really big store with a huge selection of clothing , housewares, foodstuffs, etc. There is ample parking and it is easy to check out. I really liked it.

Everything is great! I noticed how dusty the dressing rooms are and they definitely need major TLC. Other than that, the selections are always abundant and staff are friendly!

This is one of my FAVORITE places to shop. The staff are so helpful and courteous! You can find GREAT deals on clothing, gifts, home decor accessories, bedding and furniture!

Sorry, had a lamp $12.99 damaged. It looked like someone had posses on it. So called manager only could take off a dollar. Of course I left it. Want go back in there again

This place has horrible and very tight parking but they do seem to have pretty good stock of everything so you can always find something when you shop here.

This location feels cluttered and cramped. That said, it's still a Marshalls, and they have great deals and a wide, revolving selection of merchandise.

Love the merchandise and the prices. I bought a large chair today and the staff joyfully helped me carry it did the front of the store and to my car.

This Marshall's has decent collection both home goods and clothes. Be aware the check out line is super long all the time. So plan your trip wisely.
