I started going to Martin with a repetitive injury picked up in work. I wasn’t sure what was wrong but it came to a point where action was needed. Martin listened to my history, my type of work and to the general pace of my day. I never felt rushed and often he would go over our time allotted. I found his diagnostic skills superb. Fast, accurate and straight in with a treatment program and referral. I have never looked back. I still do a weekly sessions with Martin for general stress release and maintenance and really, I have never looked back. Would highly recommend Martin as a physio who genuinely cares and will not give up on you until you are diagnosed, treated and back to yourself.
I've been going to see Martin for years on and off, depending on my level of triathlon training. It's so important for me that I trust a physio, and I had never found one that really invested in my health and performance before being recommended Martin. He knows my body's capabilities better than I do now and I feel in safe hands. He kept me injury-free with monthly prehab while Ironman training (highly recommend) and has safely seen me to the start (and finish!) of many races. Martin has a wealth of knowledge and experience which makes him even more than a fantastic physio. There's no point messing around with anyone else - Martin is the best there is!
Would highly recommend Martin. I'm a very keen runner but I was struggling with back issues which kept me out for a long time but after a few sessions with Martin, he had me back on the road. What I particularly appreciated was that he didn't just pull out a set of exercises and say 'here do these and you'll be grand', rather he listened to me and then successfully diagnosed and treated the problem, which had been going on for a very long time. Sometimes, an element of manual treatment is required in my opinion to successfully overcome a chronic injury and I think Martin excels in this.
I have found Martin to be an excellent physiotherapist with fantastic knowledge about many things including the causes and remedies for injury and pain. I went to a few physiotherapists before finding Martin and as a result can say that he has skills in diagnosis and treatment etc that other physiotherapists do not have! He has been extremely helpful with my recovery from injury and pain, for which I am ever so grateful to him, I would highly recommend Martin!
I have been a patient of Martin’s for 10 years on and off and find him to be an excellent Physio, treating long-term back and neck/shoulder pain and recovery from a broken leg. He has an encyclopaedic understanding of pain and injuries and is a big proponent of strength work to aid recovery and prevent future injuries . He’s a great guy and very empathetic. I have recommended him to many friends over the years, all of whom have had a similar experience.
World class - don't wait just go see Martin! I've had ongoing back pain for year's and had accepted it as ‘normal’. I'd tried multiple physio's and had no relief. From day one Martin’s treatment made an impact! His focus on identifying the route cause saw significant progression over a short time. I’m now in a way better place and back training at full strength
I highly recommend Martin Hynes - he is an excellent listener, he understands pain, finds the source of physical issues, and works hands-on to resolve the problem. He sees you through the process: following up on treatments, monitoring your progress and supplies effective exercises/stretches when needed. Overall, a really decent, personable and professional guy.
Martin was a huge help to me when I came to him with a slipped disc. He was extremely professional, pointing me in the right direction with a specialist consultant instantly. He is very straight up and to the point, with your well being at the forefront of everything he does. I was highly recommended him by a friend and would like to do the same for others too.
Martin is more than just your regular physio! I have tried many approaches over the years, but Martin was the one who helped me successfully manage my shoulder injury. His knowledge, experience and realistic approach got me from a state of barely being able to swim a few lengths in the pool to successfully completing ultra-endurance swims again.
Martin provides the highest standard of professional care while also showing the kindest levels of empathy. This balance of clinical and emotional engagement on his part has helped me to successfully overcome an annoying injury while maintaining a positive attitude during a lengthy recovery period. I am forever grateful to Martin.
Martin is as good as it gets. I’ve been going to him for a number of years for routine issues and, more recently, for a more complex issue. He never fails to get to the root cause, fix the underlying issue, and so make the pain go away! On top of this he runs a tight ship and never leaves you waiting. Highly recommended.
Highly recommended! Martin knows his stuff and he’s well able to release pain and assess the issue. I went to few different practitioners before and none of them went as far as Martin. I feel like I’m well looked after and the rehabilitation exercises he’s suggesting really help with recovery!
Like others I have tried different practitioners and Martin is the best. He’s straightforward, realistic and knows his stuff. I’m my case we’re making steady progress through a frozen shoulder. It’s not an overnight fix and it’s great to have his commitment to get me to the end goal.
Martin has been my physio for the last 12 years and has managed my injury profile during this period. Martin is very effective in his various treatments and gets me back training quickly every time. I would recommend Martin to anyone involved in endurance sports. Alan Hardy
Martin has dealt with a number of my injuries of the years in a knowledgeable and compassionate way. He has given me great advice around rehabilitation exercises and has dealt effectively with a number of muscular issues on the spot. Highly recommended.
I started seeing Martin when other therapists weren’t able to help me with severe neck and back issues. Martin found the problem and with time and patience managed to fix it. He is knowledgeable, experienced and above all kind. Highly recommend.
Marathon runner! Been with Martin for a few years. Anytime I have an injury issue he’s the first person I contact. He got me to/through 3 marathon races when I thought I wouldn’t make the start line.
Martin is a consummate professional. The treatments are really effective and the recovery and strengthening advice is as valuable- couldn’t get through marathons without him! 5*****
I've attended Martin for many injuries and he is excellent. Highly recommend
