UPDATE: This is actually my second time here, so far I have not a single complaint to write about . And as a Bangladeshi I feel proud that a Bangladeshi owned business doing such an excellent job running this place. I came right after my son's graduation ceremony at Barclays. We were all so tired & real hungry. We got lucky that my parents are here to see my son graduation ceremony! And we have no other family here, so I wanted to make my son feel special with all of here together. Also took one of his closest friend with us ! The food was really great, Altho Bangladeshi food are spicy but because of the location I do understand why they have to changed it up a spices! The service was excellent. Very polite, helpful, informative; even my dad was happy with the service! Because the place is small I did call 10 min before just to make sure we have a seat for 5 people. And at first they were saying it will be tight but I told them it's raining and we had been here at Barclays all day on this heat & my family is tired & hungry. We need to seat down & eat lol. Because there were not much halal restaurants nearby where you actually can seat down . They did made the accommodation & we all much appreciated their efforts ! My son's friend is Mexican & he loved the food . Especially mango lassi, me personally love my regular lassi but I tried some from my son & I gotta say it was delicious. Btw, lol we were so hungry, even me that I forgot to take pictures of the food ! Sorry ..! We did met the owner & he was such a gentleman! My parents talked with him for a while & he answered all their questions. Much appreciated that! Btw I forgot to thank you guys for not ran with the flow like other halal restaurants in NY City which serves alcohol! You guys are loosing some money but you still respected our religion & keep it 100 percent Halal. And for that you guys earned our respect! Keep up the great work. If I am near the area I will definitely be here, rather then anywhere else. It was a nice experience visiting this cozy tiny place . Decor is nice . Stuff is welcoming & helpful. I have seen lots of takeouts while I was having lunch . The price is reasonable & food tasted great. I would not have know by the name that it’s a Bangladeshi owned restaurant & stuff are also from Bangladesh. And yes it’s a halal restaurant. If you are near Atlantic ave in Brooklyn, should give it a try.

Masala Grill, Brooklyn are absolute cheats. They put a sign saying 25% discount on 'dine-in'. But when checked the check, they did not really give a 25% discount. They give stupid reasons saying it is applicable only from Monday to Friday but know where it is mentioned. If so, they should clearly mention what is discounted and what is not. Unfortunately, my dining experience was marred by the rude behavior of the waiter. Their demeanor was unprofessional. My visit to the restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, the service was horrendous. The staff seemed disinterested, the food took an eternity to arrive, and when it did, it was subpar at best. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different place for a better dining experience.

4th time back here, overall great experience and food. We had a lamb dish as well as butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, all were pretty good. The naan and samosa chaat, and aloo papri were excellent, def recommend. We also ordered chicken 65, it was alright, but probably wouldn’t get it again. They’re really generous w portions, we easily split the tikka masala and rice that came with it between 2 adults and had more than enough for both. They provided Kheer on the house which was also nice. Service was fine. the TV was kind of annoying ngl, but we were also sitting directly under it so ‍♀️. Will be back.

Pathetic food! Tasteless, oily, cold, bad bad bad food. We(4 of us) had ordered veg pakodas & gobi manchurian as starters. The veg pakodas tasted so bad & it was so so oily. Gobi manchurian was equally bad. I felt like puking after eating. We had ordered chicken lollipop, chicken vindaloo, naan & samosa chaat as main course. Eww, everything was so so bad. The chicken was not well cooked, hard & tasted horrible. Samosa was cold & chole tasted awful. Naan was super hard, & had a weird smell. We felt miserable after eating, left more than half the food. Please do not waste your hard earned money here.

I’ve gotten chicken tikka masala from here twice now. I’m torn because the curry is wonderfully flavorful and doesn’t have a thick layer of grease on top like most Brooklyn Indian spots. The naan is very fluffy, and the samosas are also great. The chicken both times, however, was the driest of any chicken I’ve had from any restaurant in New York. This holds it back from being a 5-star review, and honestly makes me question whether I should even keep eating here. I end up just pouring the curry over rice and not eating any of the chicken, it’s that bad. Please fix your chicken, Masala Grill! You would be such an incredible restaurant if you did.

Incredible food. The staff are the kindest warmest people I've met so far in New York. Come and eat in if you love to watch Bollywood music videos on the screen or take it to go if you want the best take out of your life. The portions are large, especially if you go for their lunch special which comes with two mains. Some of the best memories of my first year living in Brooklyn have been made here just chatting it up with the staff and I'm so grateful I live above such a neighborhood staple. This place is our favorite within our friend group. Service is quick and friendly. Rafi was so nice. Atmosphere is comfortable and cozy! The butter chicken melted my cold heart. Paneer was amazing, and the eggplant. The cheese naan was insane. We got complimentary rice pudding and we fought over leftovers.

The mixed biriyani was absolutely fantastic!! Haven’t had good biryani in a while. Unlike a lot of other Indian spots, they had the fried onions in it or at least they add it to the top where I can really taste it. It also comes with all the sauces and a little sweet dessert which is also delicious. All under 20$ with the tea. Food is honestly amazing. Highly recommend

The food nice good however they sadly need to improve or update their delivery times on delivery services. They quote 50 minutes but you will be lucky to get your food within 2 hours. Happened on multiple occasions and most recently they’ve cancelled the order after a 90 min wait. Disappointing

Food is not bad by any means but knowing how great Indian food can be, I can’t say that it ranks among the best. Paneer tikka has the right texture but the sauce was just a little too sweet, almost ketchup-y. Could use a little more spice and complexity. Biryani is pretty good. Aloo tikki wasn’t crispy and was very bland inside. I don’t think I’ll be back.

The tables are pretty tiny, but the meals are huge! The chicken tikka masala, which is a classic everywhere it is banging! I tried the fish Korma although a bit sweet, it is divine. I am truly satisfied with this venue and plan to visit sometime in the future.

The food is fantastic, especially for the price. We got the dinner combination for 2 and there was more than enough food for leftovers. The vegetable curry was awesome! Packed full of vegetables. The lamb was very tasty too.

The chicken samosas and the Lamb Tikka Masala were absolutely amazing. It was so good we had to go there two days in a row. The best Indian food in Brooklyn for sure. Very affordable as well.
