I went to do afternoon prayers at Kwa Mtoro. Was happy to learn they've a womens area. However the area was not even comparable to the men's area. It was very small and just had a straw mat and there were bugs on the mat. The women's entrance itself looked sketchy. It should not be acceptable that women have to pray in corner rooms, back rooms or furnace room with no ventilation or maintenance on straw mats when men get the beautiful open space mosques with comfy rugs. This needs to change, women should be able to pray behind the men in the same hall with same facilities and peaceful environment.

Ni msikiti mzuri sana, sehemu ya kuchukilia udhu ipo safi, vyoo safi, pia zinapatikana tende, vitabu, kanzu, kofia jumla na rejareja, ukitaka cd za mawaidha utapata, dawa za ki sunna pia zipo, manukato na vilemba, ukweli pako vizuri. Ukifika pale msikitini kama ikitokea unataka kuzoma qur'an basi vitabu vya kusoma vipo kila kona ya msikiti, na ukitaka kujipumzisha kwa kulala kidogo majira ya mchana basi wewe panda juu gholofani na sio chini (hairuhusiwi).

One of my favorites, a Masjid that is the pride of Kariakoo. It's a two story building with internal and external stairways for convenience. It also hosts a ladies prayer section with a separate entrance leading to it. The interior ambience is quite lively, especially during holy Ramadan. It also has clean water access, stable washrooms, a backup generator and a really sturdy sound system.

Qur 9:18. Hakika wanao amirisha misikiti ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni wale wanao muamini Mwenyezi Mungu, na Siku ya Mwisho, na wakashika Sala, na wakatoa Zaka, na wala hawamchi ila Mwenyezi Mungu. Basi huenda hao wakawa katika waongofu. Qur 72:18. Na hakika misikiti ni ya Mwenyezi Mungu, basi msimuabudu yeyote pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu.

Ima ktk neema alizotutunuku Allahu ni mmea uitwao mlang'ombe ambao kwao ni mujarabu wa maradhi mbali mbali. Hususani kwa maradhi ya u.t.i malaria sugu homa ya matumbo amoeba na mengi ya maradhi yasiyo kuwa hayo na matayarisho yake ni kuchemsha majani yake na kunywa glasi moja kutwa mara tatu kwa siku tano.

This mosque is awesome Maa Shaa Allah It gat sufficient water and the washrooms are gorgeous, spacious and very clea. The mosque has cloths for praying and it has fans for cool air supply Tc awesome, amazing and gorgeous. Love it soo much.

Is a good mosque but is you go late you can get a place to play because many people from kariakoo play there,enough water,also you can get every thing you need there is a shop sell Islam product kanzu,kofta,vilemba and open shoes

Modern mosque with a large capacity located in kariakoo. Sermons conducted in swahili for most part. Get there early on Friday to get a nice spot for prayer, it does get full and overflows on the outside as well.

Tidy, calm masjid. With shops around it mostly Islamic attire. Book stores are also a common feature of the mashed where you can find both classic and new era books.
