I wish I could give ZERO stars! This place is by FAR the WORSE massage that I have ever experienced in my life! To start with they take us back to a room and leave without saying anything to us, so like massages before we relied on what we had previously done, and undressed down to our undergarments. We then we slide under the sheet, since they did not supply robes like a normal spa would. Once they finally reenter the room they panic and tell us "NO DIRTY" meaning we should not have got under the sheets, and they immediately brought towels in for us to use to cover up with. (We really should have just left at this point!) After that the massage finally started. Although, I honestly don't even think I can call it a "massage", it was more of a "glorified back rub" with body oil. There was no pressure ever applied, and something that was very odd she left the room, and came back with a hot towel that she kept slapping against me, and then she used it to scrub off the excess oil. Finally, after 25 minutes I told her I was done because she literally only rubbed my upper back and right arm in that whole time frame. Of course she couldn't even understand what I was saying, because she didn't speak a lick of english (except the word "Okay"), so she had to leave the room again to go get a translator for I could tell that person I was done. This place is not professional at all, and other massage places that I have been to the first thing they ask id about your health and the area that you need massaged the most, and they didn't ask ANYTHING!

This place is okay. First I called to make an appointment for 6:30pm, I was on my way there and they called and asked me if they could push my appointment back to 7pm because they are very busy. I still wanted to give it a chance so I went in. Once I got there I was shown to my room and prepared for my massage. The woman that gave me my massage left the room 3 or 4 times during my massage to translate or go answer the phone or answer questions. During my massage other staff members came in to ask her questions as well and I even had another client walk in during my massage . It was not very pleasant but my body was in so much pain I still stayed after all of that. I’m pretty sure the door to my room was open half the time and I was not dressed, of course, so that was uncomfortable if everyone could see. The rooms weren’t quiet as well , you could hear everyone around you and even the fire truck passing outside. The massage itself was also just okay and it’s definitely not somewhere I want to try out again. I would definitely recommend somewhere else like Massage Envy even if they are more expensive it’s definitely worth it .

I rarely post reviews at all but I really like this place and it's gotten a number of bad reviews in a row recently. Here is my two cents. I came in with no appointment after a long week- emotionally and mentally exhausted. The last thing I wanted to do was to be bogged down in conversations about medical history or what body parts I wanted to focus on. I just wanted an hour of peace and muscle relaxation at a price I could afford. This place delivered. I got an hour's worth of muscle work for $55 (and they offer a half hour deal of $29 as well). If you have a medical condition that you need paid attention to or you're going to get a massage to be pampered, this may not be your place. If you need full body work and don't have any area of focus or sensitivity that you want to avoid, this is your place. 4 stars because while I left feeling rejuvenated, I wish there were more noise cancelling options so I didn't hear the customer talking about her feet in the middle of my massage. I'll take that over paying $99 for a lesser quality massage elsewhere.

I've been going here for years, and I've done the foot reflexology, but it is the deep tissue massages that I go for. I just went recently and saw Jack, who gave me an amazing deep tissue massage. I have been to many high end spas in Jacksonville, and while they have nice amenities, high end products etc, they lack on technique. If you want body work, this is your place, if you want a spa day with all of the bells and whistles then this place is not for you. To put it plainly if I want to be pampered I'm going to book at a high end spa, if I'm super tight and my lower back is bothering me, I'm coming here because I KNOW I'll feel better afterwards. Another perk is availability. I've never been told no, and have NEVER waited for more than 10 minutes to be seen. It doesn't matter the day or time, if I decide I want a massage spur of the moment, they always have time to see me, and I love that.

The massage was good but they are very unprofessional. I was quoted one price over the phone and then after my service I was given a another price. I was thinking no big deal given the massage was pretty good but then I was told there was an additional charge for my feet. When we started the massage I was told that the feet are included. After I paid, the manager asked how much was I going to tip? I said zero and he proceeded to make a big deal about it, in front of everyone. He said “Wasn’t the guy good? Why would you not tip him? I mean I need to know why.” I did not feel a tip was in order based on the fact that I was lied to about the price of the service and due to the lack of professionalism I will not go back or support this business. I will let everyone I know, how this business does not respect you as the consumer or the money you choose to spend with their establishment.

Best deep tissue chair massage I’ve ever had, hands down!!! I just recently started getting deep tissue massages here due to issues I was having with my hands which I thought was carpal tunnel syndrome and I was looking for some relief if possible. The good news is I was wrong and what I really needed was the correct massage therapist. I have only had 3 sessions with Mark (I highly recommend him) and my hands are 85% better than they were before. In summary, if you are having any hand, arm or even back problems it can’t hurt to try, 30 min deep tissue chair massage is only $35 plus tip (don’t be a cheap skate and not tip). One word of advice, if you are having muscle tissue issues the first few times are going to hurt like hell, remember, no pain no gain.

Had a couples massage with my wife here recently. The massage was decent but the hidden fees I didn’t appreciate. If you have them use oils there is $10 uncharge per person , at every other massage parlor I’ve ever been to its always included not extra , never been up charged for the masseuse using oil ! Also the masseuses were talking at least half of the time during the massage that we had and had a hard time relaxing…. Also make sure you tip generously on top of being up charged for the oils otherwise you will be asked for an extra tip on top of your tip . One and done for me …. This is my experience hope it will help someone else in deciding whether to have a full body massage

From out of town, here visiting family. Woke up this morning and could barely walk with pain in my lower back and hip. Found this place online and figured it was going to be a waste of money but I needed to do something. Walked in and had Ray. He obviously knows what he is doing. Best massage I have ever had. Very firm pressure and stretched my muscles to where they finally released some. Did such s great job after the hour massage I had him do an extra 15 minutes on my hip and got a 30 minute foot massage. I am definitely going back before I go home. Hopefully he can get my hip and back back to full function. Highly recommend this place.

I won’t be a returning customer. I had a foot message and when I sat down the masseuse asked me if lavender oil was okay, I said sure, he sprayed it on me and then said “that’s $10 more dollars”. Not okay. The actual message was not worth the money, he was messaging in a very lazy way and talking to his co-worker the entire time. I took my family to get treatments as well, when I went to pay for all of us I tipped 20% for each individual treatment…my masseuse and one of the others asked for more tip!! I was shocked. The treatments and customer service didn’t deserve 20% and they asked for more. Will not recommend and will not return.

I had a fairly good first experience at Massage & Foot Spa. The staff is friendly and seem knowledgeable. The person who assisted me made me feel at ease. My sore feet felt re-energized after he massaged them. My only recommendation is that the staff works on improving the way the space smells. The space will feel a lot more welcoming and more therapeutic with this recommendation addressed. I honestly would have rated this establishment as a five-star had the space smelled fresher. I carry tension in my shoulders and my lower back keeps a dull ache but I always feel like a new person after I leave here. If you are a beginner in massages, I suggest you emphasize that you want relaxing, light pressure, and in what area to focus. If this is not conveyed, you will likely get deep tissue because they instinctually focus on smoothing out knotted muscles. Saying that, the masseuse always finds problem areas and smooths them out. Take my advice, and you should get an amazing therapeutic massage.

I was very disappointed… I’ve been before to get the full body massage. This time my arms barely got massaged, my feet wasn’t massaged or touched, the front part of my legs was just pushed on with a sheet over them! I felt like I he was just practicing on me and didn’t really know what he was doing. I had scratches on my back because his nails weren’t groomed! I guess they didn’t do my feet because as soon as I went to pay he asked me about buying a foot massage! Super disappointed

Been here twice for 60 min foot massage, I work on my feet all day and this is a must for me. The female that worked on me both times is super skilled. If you feel it’s too rough or hard you can tell her. She is spot on for me and my feet feel so good. The place is clean and the folks are friendly. I like the water sounds and it smells nice. There’s Asian music playing too. I just sit down and let them do what they do. Friendly and well skilled. I’m on for next Wednesday.

Worst massage I've ever had! Man at the front desk was really nice, but the lady that gave me the massage pretty much just gave me a rub down...and she only did one side of my body! Only gave me a small towel to cover myself with. She didn't really understand English, so we couldn't communicate. I was uncomfortable the whole time, not relaxed and my neck hurt afterwards (it didn't hurt before). Never coming back.

I was quoted $30 for a thirty minute chair massage. The masseuse was excellent. I confirmed the $30 price with the older man in charge at the desk. He agreed with the price and then asked for a tip. I said, $10.00 for the masseuse! He said thank you, took my credit card and charged $35.00 (instead of $30.00) + $10.00 on the card and did not give the tip to the masseuse! DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I will never return I had a foot massage and paid the $60.00 price at check out. Upon giving her the tip she pointed to the sign the suggested tip is 20% . During the message she stopped for 10 mins to do something else then came back to finish the massage. They lady was instant on more money. This is very bad business. Don’t waste your time. They will try and take you over the coal about money.

Fiance and I scheduled a last minute couple's massage on Sunday. They were very accommodating and got us in quick. We loved it! It is definitely our new favorite massage place. Reasonably priced and the massage therapists did a great job. They gave each of us a slightly different massage, which was perfect since he needed more pressure and work with his muscles. We will definitely return :)

I’ve been here 50+ times over the past 2+ years but this was my first time this year. They didn’t tell me the price increased and the lady who did the massage seemed to have an attitude or be upset. I pointed out a tight area (butt/hip) I needed worked and she never did it and moved extra slow for the 99 minutes. I’ll probably be going somewhere else going forward.

First visit for a foot massage and had a great experience. Called ahead and no other customer were present at the time, resolving anxiety. It was very clean and staff was very friendly and courteous. The massage, after a short foot soak and rinse, was phenomenally relaxing and de-stressing. Exactly what I needed. I will definitely be back.

Great technique and pressure, but difficult to communicate with. I was looking for neck and shoulders, said as much, pointed at the area, got neck and back. Felt great. Neglected to pursue correction since nobody there seems to understand. Had I known they are all/mostly Chinese, I would have prepared in advance with Google translate.

Was not bad for my first time. Came from Orlando to go with a friend. The hot stones were amazing, the massage was okay. Got the couples special which the price was good. Maybe next time can't say it really made me want to come back but i appreciate you guys for helping me relieve some back pain.

These people are not licensed massage therapists.... the tables they use are also not proper massage tables, I had more pain after laying on the table than when I came in. Also, they want to charge you extra for everything and get upset if they do not get a big tip.

I have been coming here consistently for about 8 months and I am convinced this is the best massage place in Jacksonville. Finally, massage therapists that know how to give a proper deep tissue massage. Prices are very affordable, too! So happy to have found them!
