To Whom It May Concern, Chris (Circke C Austin)is a professional, client care oriented massage therapist. Unfortunately the management team did not preform to his level. I have been receiving services at the Circle C location for over 4 years. My salon membership begin 10 years ago in Elmhurst IL. The management failed to extend any consideration to me, when Massage Envy in Elmhurst IL. Franchise claimed, that Circle C Austin had taken over my memberahip. I spoke with Tanille Jones who acknowledged herself as the new manager for yhe Elmhurst location. She spoken to me in a unprofessional, condescending manner. She interrupted constantly when I spoke and had no answers to why my membership would be sent to another location without my consent, after a ten year payment relationship. No assistance of any kind was offered to me. No transfer of membership advised by either location. Massage Envy Circle offered NO assistance as well, No military or member discount, NO option, to even start a membership at the Circle C location was offered. The only option that was given to me was to pay Full price for the facial that had been scheduled. I could have been told that I did not have enough credits for the multiple services that I had scheduled for that day. That would have let me know ahead of time that that there is a problem, with my account. It is unfortunate that client retention and satisfaction is such a low priority, but making a extra $40.00 on the facial that I had to cancel, was your management's priority. My concern is that this is a Massage Envy franchise issue. I have spoken to three other members, that I referred to Massage Envy, who have canceled there memberships. These memberships where canceled due to multiple areas of concern and dissatisfaction. Very Unfortunate, each of those members had been with their franchise locations for two years or more. Again, I can not state more firmly how disappointing it is, to be treated with such disregard. Sincerely, Velda Cousin

I understand the value of massage as I have been going to therapy for over 20 yrs get 2 hrs session every month. I have been member of Massage Envy for over13yrs and I have been using Circle C location close to 7 years. The Therapists are great and experienced. But they have been losing good therapist. I have to work with new ones every other year or so. Which is understandable. I never had such a bad experience with the front desk and manager. This year last few of my sessions were canceled without any rebooking which had cause issues with my back since I have a schedule for last 20yrs. My appointment today was canceled again and I was offered another one next week. While I was scheduling my follow-on appointments for Q1 of next year, my slot next week was offered to another client by front desk. Within a few minutes I was told the slot next week is not available anymore. I moved my scheduled meetings next week to make this happen since I needed a massage. I was highly disappointed. I have to wait for another month now. Shows there is no communication between front desk team. Front desk staff is not getting trained well. When I spoke with the manager and brought the situation to her attention she completely ignored the issue. Instead, she was explaining to me the reasons why I should or shouldn't get a massage on top of not helping me. Manager boasted about having 1800 clients and hard to serve all well. I never heard such a response for a client serving organization. Highly unprofessional. I see the values of caring and client experience is diminishing significantly at this location. Sad!

The good: My massage therapist and esthetician were both wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional. The actual services I received were fantastic. The bad: 1. The front desk didn't check me in correctly so I lost a FOURTH of my massage time (that I was not offered a discount for). They left me sitting in the waiting room for almost 20 minutes until I came back to the front desk and asked them about it. This made my whole massage feel rushed. 2. The front desk didn't save my gift card info, so at the end of my message there was chaos with trying to download it from the email receipt, which wasn't working. 3. When I called back with the gift card numbers (which I knew I had on my home computer) they weren't able to process the payment because they had run someone else's card for my services. They are still trying to sort this out, and I've now spent almost as much time fixing payment as I did actually relaxing. I truly hope it's resolved very soon because I'm still stressed about it, days later. While the services I received were utterly fantastic, the fact that there was stress right before and right after really ruined the experience for me and totally negated any relaxation and enjoyment.

I just had by far and away the worst massage I’ve ever received from a man named Alex. I’ve had an account at massage envy for over 7 years and cancelled today because of how terrible this experience was and how it was handled by the front desk staff. I booked a deep tissue massage. The massage felt like a 15-year-old boy rubbing sun block on me for 45 mins. I asked if there was a reason he wasn’t massaging my lower back as that was the problem area I asked him to focus on. He didn’t respond. I told he him could use deeper pressure as it felt very Swedish and he responded that “he didn’t know what else to do.” He then asked if I wanted to end the massage. I told him no but to please use deeper pressure and massage my lower back. He didn’t once touch my lower back. He ended the massage 15 minutes before the hour was over and I was half way home before the massage was supposed to have ended. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a massage clinic. Do not come here, choose a different massage clinic and save yourself the money and never book with Alex. Absolute waste of an hour of my life. Good luck getting a response from the manager who’s always conveniently “out of town.”

My therapist is wonderful! However, there are obvious signs of no management and the new ownership has failed their staff. The lobby and entrance area is very dirty, not mopped or vacuumed. The bathrooms have no paper towels. Customers with issues were told "I can't help you with anything because or manager quit". The front desk has lost their jive. The new owners need to spend several weeks here stabilizing the bleed before it hemorrhages into a disaster. Then come once a month for week for the next 6 months. The banter in the location lets the members know how miserable it is to work there.

Take your money to a practice with compassion. I tried to gift 3 of my massage credits to a family supporting their mother through chemotherapy. They are sleeping at a hospital each night and I thought it would help for them to receive a massage to help relieve that stress. They refuse to transfer more than 1 a month alluding vaguely to their practice policy. My local massage envy location was willing to make an exception, they just needed manager approval. This location is not. Heartless. It matters where you spend your money. Don't spend it here.

Horrible customer service. They don’t send a confirmation until a day before the scheduled massage. I specifically asked the front desk to cancel my evening appointment only , I had another scheduled in the morning, but she canceled both and they didn’t even notify me. It was really frustrating to find it out upon arrival for the scheduled massage. Other experiences involved duplicate fees/charge even after giving them the coupons.

I have some low back pain issues that stemmed from tight hip flexors. I’ve been to physical therapists three times over the past several years to try to fix my problem to no avail. I heard about Chris from another therapist and started going to him. Within just a few weeks he has almost completely resolved the issue and my pain is finally better than it ever has been before! I am a long-time customer of Massage Envy and I would like to thank the management staff at this location for going out of their way to help get my account in order. My schedule is very tight and I am often unavailable during regular business hours. The wonderful office managers made themselves available to talk to me when I had a tight time window, and they followed up quickly and regularly with me. Great customer service!

The massuse was very nice and competent. However the 30 minute Relaxation massage l paid for was only about 20 minutes. l went in at 1:30pm and it was over by 1:50. This massage was performed fully clothed, so no time was spent disrobing. Feeling very disapointed in this establishment and ripped off. Basically l spent $50 for a 20 minute massage. l doubt l will be back.

I love this Massage Envy location. The building is really nice, calm and always smells good. The front desk staff is great! They know my name and are always very kind and welcoming. I have seen a couple different therapists and all were good. My go to is Elliot. He is very kind and professional. I highly recommend Massage Envy and the Circle C location specifically.

Massage Envy reception staff are always friendly and helpful. I have had facials, and several massages from different service staff, and was overall happy. I do wish if you have a lot of membership points built up that you could use them as you please and not have restrictions sharing them with others.

My massage therapist Evan did not check even check in to work. I waited 10 minutes past my appointment, and only when I asked the front desk did they realize that he did not come in to work. They told me to come back in 3 hours for the massage. Don’t come here if you want a reliable massage experience

Chris’ massage is brilliant. While I for asked an overall massage he could feel parts of my upper back needed extra attention & where my back meets hips were tight ( I didn’t even mention that), & so focused a little extra time on those area. So relaxed after massage. Thank you Chris.

Hunter was FANTASTIC! I usually go in for relaxing massages but this time I knew I needed a deep tissue massage to help with my headaches from tension and stress. He is so professional and also hilarious and it was overall such a great experience! My whole body dynamic has changed!

Will charge you even if they don’t remind you about upcoming appointments. Was charged for 3 missed appointments that they didn’t send reminders for. At one point, only had one deep tissue therapist. Every time I go in, there’s someone new which will often give conflicting info.
