I lived in Kraków for 9 months and during this time I have been there many times. The place is welcoming, all on one floor with a three-chambers library behind the cafeteria. All the books are in English and this is a great thing for foreigners like me who went there to pass the time. It is easily accessible from the Filharmonia tram stop and also you can spend hours there quietly without being disturbed. The wifi is free and the password is displayed in plain sight at the counter. The books are divided by category and it is possible to read them for hours without having to buy them. The furniture has its own vintage and comfortable vibe for readers but also for those who want to study or work from a computer outside the home. Certainly one of the places I miss the most in Kraków. The only flaw, most of the drinks are not the best you can find in Kraków but the brownie, the only food I've tried, was really good.

Bardzo pretensjonalne miejsce, poczynając od obsługi, kończąc na klienteli. Żeby usiąść spokojnie z kawą i przekąską trzeba odbyć cały taniec niewygodnych czynności. Lokal składa się z dwóch części, dwóch mieszkań, między nimi znajduje się klatka, dwie pary ciężkich drzwi i kurtyna,które trzeba pokonać,aby dostać się do części czytelnianej. W lokalu obowiązuje samoobsługa,co oznacza,że w obie strony trzeba przemieścić się z naczyniami. Można oczywiście pozostać w pierwszym lokalu-jesli jest miejsce. Sam serwis jest raczej... nieśpieszny. Najbardziej zachęca mnie wystrój. Na pewno nie jest to miejsce na szybką, miejską kawę. Z reszta sama kawa jest raczej sredniej jakosci. Ceny w średniej półce cenowej. Ciekawy księgozbiór.

This is one of the most interesting spaces one can encounter in the city of Krakow. It is a second-hand bookstore with a café. While this is a tried and tested concept, its execution is unique. In practice, the bookstore café occupies two apartments on the ground, which are connected through a "secret" right next to the counter of the café. Most of the books sold here are in English. In short, this is one of the more interesting places in town. I nearly forgot to mention that both the coffee and the cakes are excellent. I'll certainly be coming here again

Wonderful place! Highly recommended for those who likes books and reading. You can find here books in different languages and from various fields. Rare ones and bestsellers. Very good collection for all tastes. I have not met such a low prices for books in Krakow. Special atmosphere provided by location in the old-fashioned apartments with old furniture and chiming clocks. There is also a caffee. You can try/read chosen book there.

What an amazing place and what a shame I only discovered it on the last evening of my stay in Krakow. A beautiful atmospheric book shop that is like a TARDIS inside. So relaxed with great coffee and food. If I lived in Krakow it would be the place I'd go for stimulation, contemplation and work. So chilled and books everywhere you go. Loved it!

I have hard feelings about that place, i do liked atmosphere and vibe there with all the books around me but coffee? Worst in my life .. i had diarrhea 30min after i drinked cappuccino.. somebody have bloody no idea how to prepare it at all, taste was burned and sour with means cheapest old coffee beans. Piękne wnętrze i bardzo uprzejmy personel, dobra kawa. Ciasta niestety zwyczajnie średnie a w lokalu na każdym kroku człowieka spotyka skrajny feminizm (w postaci ulotek czy niesmacznych naklejek) i LGBT. Przyjazne dla wszystkich grup społecznych miejsce jest neutrale, tu tego się nie doświadczy.

Byłam na kawie z koleżanką więc nie wypowiem się na temat książek. Klimat ciekawy, ale kwiaty na stolikach totalnie zwiędłe, krzesła w dużej mierze skrzypiące i rozklekotane tak że strach usiąść, obsługa mówi na "ty", kawa jak dla mnie kiepska i dość droga, a do tego w lokalu jest bardzo zimno.

Kultowa już księgarnio-kawiarnia. Niesamowity klimat, który Massolit utrzymuje od lat, nieturystyczne miejsce z duszą. Warto spróbować słodkości do kawy (pyszne lemon bary), a jeśli pogoda sprzyja, usiąść przy stoliku na zewnątrz i cieszyć się piękną, spokojną uliczką ukrytą w Starym Mieście

The coffee is really good and all the food is made in the cafe. The pastries have that authentic homemade taste! Plus the cafe itself is in two merged apartments and the decor is stunning :) you also have plenty of books to browse and buy, should they peak your interest

This place is one of the best bookstores in Krakow. Do not miss the second apartment. The store is arranged in two separated apartments, you have to go via a rather hidden door behind a bar to the staircase and second apartment with a great selection of English books.

A nice and cozy place close to the old center. The food and drink were great and the people working there sounded lovely :-) The place is as cute as one can get, and a safe place to hang out for LGBTQ+ people. I'm glad to have had the chance to visit !

Very cute cafe and bookstore. You can find very cheap used books and new books, they are more or less mixed with eachother. Prices are rather on the expensive side.
