My family loves Dr Shamim Dawood! She’s very knowledgeable, thorough, approachable and kind. She listens to our concerns very well. She’s non-judgmental and I can tell her details related to my care without ever feeling self-conscious or embarrassed. I’m confident in her ability to take care of us and help us make the best decisions for our health. She does well baby check ups for my little girl and she’s always been very gentle and sweet with her, especially when giving her scheduled shots. We don’t ever feel rushed with her. I’m so happy we have her as a family doctor! We are in good hands! The receptionists are also very nice and professional. They do their best to accommodate our requests. The clinic is neat and modern. It’s a plus that there’s an on-site pharmacy. If I were to comment on one thing, I think it’s unfortunate that there is no better parking area than the one they have now which is in the backside of the building. It was very difficult to find it, however the receptionist and Dr Dawood were readily available to give directions and we eventually made our way to the clinic. If you’re coming by car, there are no wheelchair/stroller accessible pathways. After parking, you have to take the stairs and walk through a hallway and you’ll end up street side (Hurontario) in front of the building then walk past an office or two and then you’ll find the entrance to the clinic. Just FYI. The journey is so worth it though!!! :)

My wife had a terrible experience with Dr.Dawood .She went to see her because a severe pain in her ear! When doctor came to see my wife she said: Why the receptionist let you in ,I have a break now! Then she started to check my wife in hurry and said you only need to take Tylanol. That night was a nightmare,my wife was crying because of pain in her ear and couldn’t sleep. Next day the Mathews Gate clinic was closed so we went to a Walk In clinic and the doctor there said that she has a sever ear infection to the point that her hearing was badly affected. We are extremely surprised of Dr.Shamim Dawood unprofessionality and careless behavior towards her patients and she is always in hurry to move from patient to patient. PLEASE ,do yourself a favour as a patient ,who deserves quality care, and avoid this unprofessional physician . Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

I am very happy with Dr.Dawood and her staff, they all make me feel very happy, they are so friendly, no matter how sick I am I love going there. Dr. Dawood listens to my problems and does everything possible to make me feel good. She is the best doctor I have ever had in my life I am 75,, she is the best. The pharmacy they are the best pharmacy I have ever had also, they are all so friendly , Saba is such a warm and friendly person, Moonu is also warm and friendly and they make you laugh even if you are feeling very sick.i am so happy to have them in my life. Clean Clinic and professional staff! Dr. Dawood has been our family doctor for more than a year now. She is very kind and professional. She will ask you right questions regarding your health problem and she is listening carefully all the details we mention. I like her way of diagnosing, I take my own time to trust any doctor but I did not have to think twice for any medical treatment in this clinic. I have a very good experience with both the pharmacy and the clinic . Dr Shamim Dawood is extremely resourceful and she takes her time in explaining everything in layman terms. Booked in for a phone call appointment and she kept dodging me. I called several times and I just kept getting brushed off. No call backs. Needed a note for work and I was outright refused medical treatment. I was in so much pain, I’ll never forget it. She changed over the years. Now she rushes people and she’s been diagnosing my skin condition wrong for 4 years. Just confirmed with my new Doctor.

This walk-in clinic was a great experience for me! The doctor definitely knows what she is doing and is polite, kind, patient and listens to me. Visually, the clinic looks very clean and there is a pharmacy there which is so convenient! Finally, the doctor is not harsh nor is she aggressive, she makes me feel comfortable to tell her anything and I will definitely come back!

Walked in and it was a great experience , great location next to square one too, caring staff and was dealt with quickly I hardly even waited. Dr Dawood is the worst doctor in Mississauga. Very greedy doctor. Always in hurry to make more money. Do not expect her to listen to your problem. Heights of unprofessionalism. Pharmacy gave expired medicine for my 6 yr old son. Your negligence can cost someone's life. Anyone buying medicine from this pharmacy, plzzzzz check the expiry date.

Visited DR. Shamim dawood and when she found that I been through other doctor during off time of her she insisted not to visit her again...also suggested rudely she is not taking me and my family anymore..what a nasty side of doctor profession....frustrated and disappointed of this kind of behavior from well educated professional

Huge fan of this clinic! Very professional and they actually go above and beyond to help, which is so sweet. I always finish work late and I arrive late and they STILL take their time helping me - the only clinic that works around my schedule. They also do great follow up and answer any questions with great detail. Def recommend!
