That was the most pleasant experience I ever had looking for and buying a mattress. I’m someone who’s incredibly meticulous about all the details and read scores of reviews online about anything I buy. People buy mattresses online without even trying them, and that to me is a mistake. Everyone has different sleeping patterns, habits, and therefore needs. Thankfully, the moment we stepped into Mattress Firm Midtown, my husband and I were greeted by the one and only Zachary Long. From the start, he listened carefully to everything we said. Fortunately, my husband and I both like firm mattresses, so we were able to start from there. But I’m sort of a wild sleeper and roll around on my back and side, while my husband is more still and sleeps on his side. Zach was able to show us the perfect mattress that would meet both our needs, especially one that provides both the SUPPORT and COMFORT in ALL positions. I was so impressed by Zach’s knowledge and ease with sharing technical details about the mattress. He knew the history of it and the scientific technology of the Intellibed, which we ended up getting. He also shared the physiology of the base that elevated our legs and opened our chest helping improve oxygenation to our bodies and decrease the work on our hearts, which ultimately leads to better sleep. We IMMEDIATELY felt a difference as Zach adjusted the settings on the base to improve our position, blood flow, and relaxation. My husband and I are thrilled with our purchases and can’t wait for our mattress and base to arrive in 2 days. Who really wants to shop for a mattress, especially in-store? I mean, we're just now getting out of some worldwide pandemic. If I'm like you, I enjoy doing all my research from home and totally feel comfortable about shopping online. A ton of companies offer these satisfaction guarantees, long warranties, etc.. You know what they don't offer? Eva. That's right, Eva at the Mattress Firm, midtown (West Gray location). Who knew good old customer service still existed?! The wife and I were really interested in a Purple mattress and were about to order one online. But while doing research we came to find out Mattress Firm carried them in-store so so we could come in and try them out. So that's exactly what we did. What we found was one of the friendliest, most knowledgeable staffs you could wish for. We dealt with a girl named Eva. She gave us all the information we requested about the various Purple models and even suggested other brands and invited us to try them out while giving us informative information, and all with this no pressure you would expect from a sales person. In the end, we did go with Mattress Firm for our Purple 3 purchase. Why, because of their outstanding customer support, a longer home trial (120 days as opposed to 100 days from purple) and the same warranty. Oh, and we got a way better deal than Purple had even with their 4th of July sale and scored some very valuable freebies. So yeah, I'll gladly write this review and hopes it convinces you to come check them out.

It has now been one week since I purchased my mattress from Mattress Firm on West Gray so I am now ready to write about my experience. I was hesitant to go in at first but I'm glad I did. My sales person was Sidney and he explained everything to me. It was like being in a training class. I am a trainer so I know what I am talking about. He had me try the firm, medium firm, and the soft mattresses. I chose the medium firm. He then had me try the traditional, hybrid, and foam mattresses. I chose one after trying several and he told me that I chose a foam. I gave him my price range and I selected the perfect mattress. I chose a Saturday delivery date and received a call the night before giving me a 2 hour window. The delivery was well within that time. The guys took my old mattress and box springs away and put my new foundation and mattress on my existing frame. Someone told me that my new foam mattress would be hot. Sidney assured me that it would not be and he was correct. The new foam mattresses actually help alleviate the heat. I feel like a new man. This mattress is what the doctor ordered. I would like to thank Sidney for all of his help. I hope that Mattress Firm knows what a valuable asset that they have in him. He epitomizes customer service and professionalism.

We went in this evening just to look at mattresses and get an idea of what we liked. When we walked in Eva immediately greeted us and began to assist us through the process of finding our perfect mattress.(I didn’t know there even was one) She was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job at explaining each step and making sure we were on the same page. She gave us time to try the mattresses without hovering (which is always appreciated!) and would circle back to discuss how we felt about it and other options. We ended up walking out with a purchased mattress and an adjustable base. What I really want to make clear in this review is how amazing Eva was. She knew our price point and didn’t try to push us above it just for sales, she knew what we wanted in a mattress and adjustable base, and most importantly, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to find us EXACTLY what we wanted and made it fit in our budget!! Words cannot express how grateful I am to have walked into that store with her working this evening. If you’re looking for a mattress but afraid of pushy sales people, head over to the W Gray Mattress Firm location and ask for Eva Galarza. I am so thankful for her!!

We walked into Mattress Firm and didn’t know where to even start. All the mattresses looked similar and picking one seemed very overwhelming. However, we met Courtney Thompson and she blew us away!! We had no idea where to even begin so she took the lead, asked us some questions and then showed us some options. She knew everything there was to know about each mattress and answered every question we had. We were so impressed with her hospitality and service. You could tell that she has a passion for helping people find the right fit. We had no idea that there was so much that went into making a mattress and how each mattress has it’s own personality and features. We ended up purchasing a California King with the help of Courtney and we are so thankful for her guidance and assistance in making the process and experience enjoyable and easy. We are so happy with our purchase and know that we got a great deal and value!! We cannot wait for it to be delivered!!

We stopped in the store just doing ‘quick’ research before going to a few more stores. But once we walked in all hurried, Sidney was great at asking how much time we had and he respected our time constraints and helped us learn what we needed to know right away but we could tell he has so much knowledge to share that we decided to stay longer to be sure we purchased the right mattress for us. He was so professional and helpful and most of all extremely patient. We were still on the fence between 3 mattresses but then he offered to put our top choices on the adjustable base and like that... we knew which mattress was the one. We smiled, looked at each other and said THIS IS THE ONE! First time ever we were both so sure and we can even track the delivery time On the website truck..because we are so busy lol.

Mattress Firm Midtown is a nice space on the east end of the inner loop to find a new mattress. Can be a bit confusing to find because the entrance faces away from the main road. Since they are a smaller store, they typically only carry the best performers. Eva was extremely professional and did an incredible job making my wife and I feel comfortable during a pretty big decision making process. She was attentive to all of our questions but also knew when to give us space to discuss our thoughts. There was a clear emphasis on understanding our current problems and what might be a better fit vs simply pushing the most expensive mattress in the store. It felt like she was “on our side”. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a new mattress to go see Eva at this location.

I have purchased my bedroom needs from Mattress Firm for 20 years and have visited over a dozen of location and have always received great customer service. The W. Gray location was no exception. I telephoned before arriving to ensure my trip worth while. The sales associate, Nabil Alsadon, was very friendly and informative. My purchase included pillow replacements and received the same great service as I have when making bigger purchases. Nabil had numerous selections to fit my needs. He helped reactivate my account and made the transaction smooth. I recommend you visit this location next time you're in the need for a new bed or accessories. I can truly say the employees across the board did not disappoint as they are as exceptional as my other experience.

I am so glad I walked into THIS location. I have not purchased a mattress in some time so, I was not well prepared or schooled on the topic. Nabil was the Sales Leader who helped me out and wow does he know sleep and mattresses! He is extremely knowledgeable of the various options, brands and their performance. I was out of there within the hour and purchased a beautiful new mattress! I know Covid is a tough time to be selling and interacting but I felt comfortable and relaxed in this environment. The space was clean, I was provided a pillow cover to use as I tested the mattresses and Nabil was diligent at staying 6 feet apart. Deon helped my fiancé and I chose a new mattress which we so desperately needed! He was very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful - all without being pushy. Our experience was seamless to pick out a new mattress which a lot of times can be very overwhelming because of the amount of options. We very much appreciated his calm informative demeanor rather than feeling like we were just getting sold. I would love to leave a no star review after all is said and done. The delivery processes is still yet to be completed when it should’ve been completed on 11/9/20 and now Maybe will be completed 11/14/20. I have no confidence in the warehouse after today at all. Why would you load a full size bed frame with a queen size mattress? When asked if they could fix there mistake and have it delivered the same day they Refuse and make you reschedule and waste a whole other day waiting for a delivery. Not only do we have to waste another day we have to go almost a week on our old bed while paying for a new one we are not sleeping on.

The service was professional and helpful; we were assisted by Ingrid who led us to an option that we would not have been otherwise aware of. Then delivery was organized for the next day. The delivery came within the 2hr window suggested promptly at the start of the window. The delivery was very quick, the staff were very professional and easily carried the mattress to the 3rd floor. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would thank all of those involved on selecting the mattress and delivering it so promptly. I would highly recommend all involved herein in future.

Mattress firm has been very friendly and accommodating. Sir Richard was so patient because I was confused what bed to chose. He showed me different types until I found what I wanted. I like my queen euro top mattress so much. The delivery guy was helpful and nice. He puts the mattress on my bed. After that he cleaned up the plastic and brought it with him. I visited the Montrose location first but that store manager wasn’t very helpful and not even try to recommend us any options. Then we went to the W. Gray location. Wow! the environment of this store comparing to the Montrose was 360 degree change. The W. Gray store manager was courteous and knowledgeable of the products. He provided helpful information for selecting a mattress. I initially planned to purchase one mattress but because of his stellar customer service and the special sale offer, I ended up purchase two. I am very happy with the purchase.

I walked into the Midtown location without a clue of what I wanted in a new mattress. Nabil was professional, friendly, patient, and extremely helpful! He walked me all around the store & listened to my assessment of each mattress & then would advise to try another one based on my feedback. As soon as we walked in we were greeted right away. Very professional and laid back staff. I literally did not know there was so much to buying a bed and what all comes with it. After being able to lay on different mattresses and explained the different types they were. It was awesome to see how much knowledge the staff had. I Just recently came to the west grey location to look at getting a mattress but was unsure what type of bed I was in need for, as I have some minor back pain issues. Alexia was very helpful in teaching me about the mattresses and narrowing down my requirements for a mattress I would want to buy. Long story short: I TRIED THEM ALL! Found the perfect one too! This is the place to go for a mattress in Houston. I was assisted by Kirkland who was very knowledgeable about the mattress features and options, but he wasn't pushy at all nor tried to upsell me. I hadn't brought a mattress in over 14 years so the technology has changed quite a bit. Kirkland was very patient with me, even when I switched my choice and came back to the store again. Mattress Firm also had the best deal on the Sealy mattress I wanted and the customer satisfaction guarantee can't be beat.

I came to this location because of the amazing google reviews....they did not lead me astray. Sidney was so patient with me. I like to be sure of large purchases and he waited as I laid on almost every bed in the store. Sidney gave me great information on construction type and quality. Larry was such an awesome sales rep. Even though he was the only one there and we were behind two other customers, he made sure that we all had his attention. And since I had the same name as his sister it was a win win! Keep Larry around! He knows his stuff and won’t lead you wrong. Also, we have been buying our mattresses from Mattress Firm and won’t go anywhere else. Make sure you test them out by laying on them and sitting also not all mattresses are the same.

Eve was extremely helpful like making sure I was an informed Shopper you don't get that alot. What you get a lot of false advertisement and sales people that have little to no integrity! Ingrid at Mattress Firm was super knowledgeable. She was very patient and answered every single question I had. She was not too salesy or pushy. I went in looking for a big boy bed. We have aafantastic experience everytime we go to this mattress firm. This time Sydney showed my friend and helped him get the best possible mattress. Spend almost two hours explaining, never got tired. Also helped us get the best referral gift possible. Sale of the mattress went well. The sales person was knowledgeable and helpful however when the mattress was delivered the team refused to pick up our old mattress so I told them they could keep the new mattress and I will be getting a refund. The sales person should’ve made us aware the team were not permitted to pick up the old mattress since it did have some stains.

Went in to look at and possibly buy a new mattress. It had been 15 years since I had updated and was dreading dealing with the whole process. Most pleasant and pressure free experience ever! I told the young man what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. He directed me successfully to a great mattress! I didn’t want a foam mattress again that came in a box. Set up my delivery and pickup of my old mattress for the same day I bought it! Couldn’t ask for better service or product!!!

Great experience! I tried out nearly every mattress and the agents were very patient and informative white guiding me through the process. Delivery was a little earlier than I expected and I got text and phone updates the whole time. I don't see how you could make it any easier or better than Mattress Firm does.

I’m so happy with this store! Eva was so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! I haven’t been sleeping well, so she asked me questions and helped me find the perfect mattress and pillow. She helped set me up so that I could get my new items same day, all while being so friendly and welcoming!

Sydney turned from very great customer service to very unprofessional and rude when I wanted only one mattress. He would not listen to me and tried to persuade me to buy another mattress. I just walked out. He also makes you write a good review on google before completing your purchase.

Sidney helped my boyfriend and I find the perfect bed for us! He let us take our time trying out every mattress and explained the advantages of each mattress. We ended up with everything we needed and it’s being delivered within 24 hours! Highly recommend buying your mattress from him!

I talked with the assistant manager, Montana. Really great service, wasn't pushy with the services. He got me setup with a Beauty rest mattress, a World Class Pillow top. He was even able to set me up with free delivery that same day. Would definitely recommend.
