We have been going to this bakery for many years. Over time, the filling in their BBQ pork buns have been decreasing with the prices increasing. Our last purchase of pork buns was all bun and very little filling. Very disappointing and will never go back. Anyone know of a better Chinese bakery, we would appreciate a referral

Their BBQ pork buns and egg tarts are probably one of the best in the city. I load up whenever we are at Sun’s for lunch. They only lose a star for the grumpy lady that cashes you out. She’s not always there but it really seems like she hates her job sometimes. :( Regardless, I still recommend them.

I read the previous reviews about the incidents they had. However, I can tell the store is definitely making an effort to improve the customer service. I was at bakery to buy some buns and egg tarts today, and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I visited several times so far, all are good!!! I love egg tarts, bbq pork bun, chinese doughnut, curry beef bun, pork floss spring onion bun, raisin pastry…. I love them all and am willing to return again. All were fresh when i bought them which I most love!

There are a lot good bread, but the staff there has bad attitude, also they needs to learn how to pack the bread well because they don't provide box and they don't zip the individual bread so all the bread will come out together when you get home.

I have been going to the Maxima bakery in Vancouver's since I was a kid, it was nice to find that there is one near where I live now! I love the sesame and red bean balls as well as the hotdog buns, I wish they had the one with the mayo tho. More

While the pineapple buns here are pretty good, the ladies working have really bad customer service. They don't smile or say thank you but being Chinese I guess that's the norm. But what really rubbed me wrong was when the lady working there

Not very good at all. Coconut and pineapple buns were disappointing: dough was dry and crispy top was not crispy….didn’t taste freshly baked at all. The bakery across the way (Logos?) at the Central Landmark is way better.

Their “Rice Krispie squares” are amazing. I drive a long way just to get those. Make sure you come here early for the best selection. They tend to run out of certain items and have limited selection if you come too late.

Clean bakery with fresh sesame balls and mochi. You will find many other Chinese sweet options. It was my first time to try and turned out to be good. Not a big fan but still would go again to try more.

Maxima, 美芯is the one favourite bakery for the HongKong style sweet soft bread bakery, consistent flavour, right texture and freshness every time, we come here almost weekly and today we got these.

Excellent BBQ pork buns with decent amount of filling. Egg tarts are good, and I think the only place to sell a legitimate Hong Kong style pineapple bun (served with thick slice of butter!)

Ordered 2-pound birthday cake recently, disappointed with thick sponge cake with just single filling layer. No good on decoration.

Their cake rolls and cakes are good. Located by Lambda Supermarket. Prices are still very reasonable compared to other bakeries.
