This has never been an issue in the last 10 yrs, this is not the Maxine's I remember.

First time at this bar ever and I had such a great experience! The bartender was a super star! I can’t remember his name but his bar shirt said “mc cool”. He was touching every guest in the building and had such great energy. Music was also amazing! No matter what genre it was playing, all the songs were great. Definitely plan on making this my go to bar. Thank you Maxine’s!

One of the best little dive bar I've been into. Drink prices were very reasonable. 4 pool tables with plenty of room and only 50 cents p/gm. Professional dart boards and plenty of seating including a long bar across the back of the building. My bartender for the evening "KK" was excellent, fast, accurate and very engaging with the patrons. Definitely recommend!

Kirsten...pronounced Keeersten...is the BEST bartender we have EVER come across!!! She works Wednesdays and Saturdays only. Please go so her!!! They have 5 count Corona buckets for $13 or $3.25 for singles (which are $5 a piece anywhere else) and free pool Wednesdays and $.50 pool on any other given day. Nice dive bar to hangout play a little poker and watch the game. Friendly staff and welcoming regulars. Pool tables and darts available only thing missing is a Foosball table, And the Rangers took game 1 WS great night.

Love this bar. Love west side. Wouldn't be anywhere else in the world, because it is what it is, its home and it feels right. Born here probably will never cheat on the west side. More than likely I'll die right here where I sit. A couple blocks from the bar.

Great neighborhood bar with excellent service. Hosts dart leagues and has 3 or 4 pool tables. They'll turn the TV to whatever game you want and have a network juke. Real family atmosphere between the staff and regulars, they take care of each other.

If you're lookin for a place to lift your spirits after the monotony of daily life, come here and banter with the best... ask for McCool! Not only did he make my day, he also makes the best Vegas bomb in town!

Nice little neighborhood bar that my family and I visited, we rarely go out, we had 2 or 3 drinks apiece and shot some pool, listened to music, stayed a couple of hours

Very friendly bar love the bartenders and the drink prices are great. They do not do pictures of beer but they definitely do buckets. They always got wonderful things going on during the day and the pool is very cheap

Best little hole in the wall bar on the west side of Fort Worth. Happy hour every day from 12-6pm $2.25 domestics and $2.25 well's! Free pool on Tuesday and Wednesday and only 50 cents every other day of the week.

Great bar! The bartenders are a whole vibe. If you need a place to chill, come here. If you need a place to party, come here. Also, McCool is 10/10 would recommend.

Maxine's is truly the place to party! Their bartenders are fabulous! If you are looking for an experienced professional bartenders, who not only knows their stuff, but will make you laugh as well...

Quite atmosphere everybody is very nice and laid back. Also no petty drama or fights. People keep to themselves and I don't have to leave my chair to play music on Juke Box

McCool was very pleasant and served us ice cold beers. The place was super clean, including the bathrooms. The beer selection could use work but McCool made up for it
