Used to be free entry but $10 fee payable now unless you have the onsite Cafe booking - you will be queried at kiosk closer to the unsealed car parking area. I came to find out that since the late Dame Elisabeth Murdoch's generous legacy dried up - the management has had to introduce a fee levy. Fair enough if this is the actual reason for entry fee, as public liability insurance is crippling. Most art installations here are outdoors in a sprawling bush setting, so visiting in good weather is recommended. It is definitely worthwhile to visit - the outdoors massive art installations scattered around & some hidden are often exhibited along freeways, in wineries & other art galleries. The John Meade indoor exhibition on recent Dec 17 visit was one those...you know - roll your eyes thing. I am sure the artist has his dedicated fans for his efforts..yeah.... Kids will enjoy the visit though pushing anything on wheels will take some effort as you have to navigate unsealed bush tracks on uneven terrain. Saw lots of visitors having picnic in front lawn expanse where created pond is located. Amenities are in main building next to indoor Cafe. The gift shop is a great place to buy art related gifts like calendars, coasters, tea towels, books etc - priced to match exclusive uniqueness. Spray insect repellent in warmer weather!

A great place to spend a few hours wondering around the extensive outdoor gardens. There are undemanding trails through a forested area leading to sculptures spotted throughout, great for the kids, and adults to explore, lots of open space, 2 indoor gallery spaces, gift shop and cafe with meals and drinks as well as artist studios. The gardens are well established and its fun to wonder around the outdoor trails exploring the sculptures large and small. I think the majority, if not all, are Australian artists, but overall the quality of work is quite interesting and I'm impressed by the effort to create an interesting relationship between the environment and the sculptures. The indoor galleries are smallish but for the size of the spaces have tightly curated and interesting exhibitions which is a real credit to the staff. You could probably get through it all without to much stress in a couple of hours but depending on where you are coming from, with travel times, I would suggest committing a full day and planning some other adventures along the Mornington Peninsula.

A great space where people could appreciate contemporary art in a natural setting. The park covers 16 hectares of landscaped gardens and natural bushland and features over 100 sculptures made from a variety of materials. One of the best things about McClelland is that it's very family-friendly. The park is big enough to walk around without exhausting the kids, and there are sculptures that children can climb and crawl into. The park also offers interactive activities for both kids and adults. The gallery space hosts a diverse range of exhibitions, including paintings, photography, and installations. The knowledgeable guides offer tours and educational programs, and the cafe is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or something to drink. Overall, McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery is an inspiring and unique destination that combines the beauty of nature with the creativity of contemporary art. It's a great place to spend a day with the family and appreciate the stunning artworks in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely place to visit with kids in particular, the paths to find the sculptures are fun and provoke good conversations. Front counter staff clearly hate their jobs so don't bother asking questions. If you eat at the cafe, you get in free. Otherwise $6 which is not bad because the gallery and sculptures are worth it. Cafe can get busy because the food is good so pick your time to visit. Worth a visit but avoid staff, there may be a work culture problem.

Such a great tonic for the soul to be in such beautiful parklands with soaring sculptures that inspire awe and gives a new fresh perspective after the months of lockdown and COVID-19 blues. Highly recommend this place for families and those with dogs. The staff at the cafe were incredibly welcoming and treated my pup to first class service. We took turns to view the gallery as dogs are not allowed inside any of the buildings which is fair I think.

Up until recently you didn't have to pay to go and have a look around the Sculpture Park. There isn't that much to see for the $10 entry. They Waiver the entry fee to get in if you are going to the Cafe. This place used to be a good place to bring the kids for a day out and they could enjoy running around outside but it's too expensive for a family now.

live art and landscape what might be nice would be further strategic seating for people to sit near art work or shade to enjoy the landscapes and sculptures and perhaps that the seating itself could be sculptural portable and part of the aesthetic experience - I.e. seating is often considered in an architectural sense design wise and a work of art perhaps this could be commissioned or created as a part of the competition?

Amazing place although I only saw a small part of it as I went for coffee then ran out of time (my friend talks alot :)) This place is definitely worth a visit if you are on the peninsula. It is $6 entry fee and if you are into art and sculptures in a beautiful garden, this is your place. You wont be disappointed. Cafe is really good but could do with larger sized coffees. Dog friendly and staff are all lovely!

Not sure where all the other sculptures are - we only found the front of the park and about 20 sculptures - and wandered back to the Woodturning Exhibition which had some beautiful pieces for sale. There is insufficient parking, which could be improved if parking spaces were laid out so people parked closer together. Amazing moving tree sculpture in the front garden, and a wonderful cafe. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed my visit here. Was great discovering the various sculptures as you walk through the lovely park garden. It also has a nice cafe offering a range of light meals that looks over the lake. You don't have to be 'into art' to enjoy this gallery - it offers nice, relaxing environment for all to enjoy.

I thought this place was great! Nice parklands, contemporary art pieces, water features, ducks and turtles! Kids thought it was great too! It's the type of place where you can spend as little or as much as you desire! Come for a picnic, stroll or for inspiration and time out; can't believe this treasure is located so close to Frankston! Will be back to see how it looks in winter.

This is a great little park in Langwarrin that many may not know about. Bigger always tends to please and get you thinking about what the artist was trying to achieve. there is also great little cafe there that did really nice food although a few items were a little on the expensive side, there was enough options to keep the budget-conscious happy well worth a visit

A unique place with lots to explore. Seemingly hundreds of sculptures scattered around the park and it's quite fun exploring all the routes to see them all. Our dog was allowed with us (outside early) and there was some open grassland for a picnic too. There is an indoor gallery and cafe towards the centre of the park alongside toilet facilities.

Lovely large gardens full of walking tracks guided past sculptures. Pack a picnic and enjoy a few hours outdoors. Only Con was i felt the paths didnt flow, i didnt know if this was on purpouse. You found yourself retracubg steps and backtracking to missed areas. Would have been nice to have arrows on which way to head and where you were going

Lovely, interesting, and educational too! We visited with some retired friends on a lovely sunny day. Spectacular moving sculptures, a lake with ducks, an indoor art gallery, plus a working beehive viewed behind glass. Next time I'll take the grandchildren for a picnic & post some photos as a written review doesn't do it justice …

Delightful! If you like art, you'll like it here. Excellent array of sculpture set in lovely grounds, as well as some exhibits inside. There's an excellent shop and a very good café. Dogs welcome! They even have dog biscuits for them. I'll be back.

We haven’t visited for a few years and still a favourite. Perfect place for my kids to run a bit of their energy off. Lovely cafe overlooking their grounds with a good selection of food. I love you can grab a bottle of wine to take outside while your kids enjoy some of the outside games. Great gift shop with Australian makers too.

A very nice park. It is very accessible from M3 south bound turning into M11. It asks for a volunteer donation to upkeep the park but not mandate an entrance fee. The environment is very relax. The sculptures are nicely blended into the park. It is a nice little gem for everyone to enjoy the tranquility. Highly recommended.

This park has some interesting sculptures surrounding the walking paths. It will, however, enhance the experience if there were more signage along the walking paths as some paths do lead to a dead-end. The indoor gallery, even though relatively small, has really good and inspiring exhibitions that are worth checking out.

What a great place to visit. A couple of hours well spent. Well kept grounds and absolutely inspiring works of art. The on-site cafe seems to have a very good menu. Unfortunately, time constraints prevented my sampling the fare. Highly recommended for those who like their art, or those who want a different experience.

Lovely place to meet for coffee or lunch in any weather. Wander thru the Gallery if its cold or wet or go for a bush walk in fine weather to search out the outdoor sculptures or stroll round the duck pond. Great for small children to run off some extra energy. Fairly pram friendly but walking tracks not sealed.

Loved it, gorgeous day. Didn't get to check out the gallery or Harry's cafe , probably need a whole day or at least 2 visits to take it all in. But the majority of sculptures were inspiring. Do yourself a favour and go!!!

Beautiful to stroll around the bush style park and discover the art works along the way. Dogs are allowed on leash. Paths are gravel and mainly flat or slight incline. Some places the gravel is a bit slippery to control a wheelchair or mobility scooter.. but it is doable. Good size car park.

Great place to hang out, chill out even just having a leisurely stroll. It's big enough to take a bit of your time but not enough to tire you out. The sculptures are beautiful and there are many hidden gems for you to find! Plenty of benches and seats around too. Worth checking out!

The $6 entry is well worth it. The walk around is easy and very enjoyable. The sculptures were interesting and thought provoking. Lunch is the cafe was delicious, I highly recommend the barramundi and salmon pie. The staff we all very helpful and cheerful. A day we’ll spent.

This park is full of surprises around each corner. BUT ALSO look DOWN while walking around to see the huge sculptures and you never know what you will find....we spotted these gorgeous tiny flowers with round furry leaves. TRULY WONDERFUL like the rest of the park. …

Lots of interesting sculptures - a section was fenced off whilst we were there but a great location to spend an hour or two admiring the sculptures. There is also a nice cafe at the location so you can sip on your favourite coffee whilst enjoying the scenary

Wasn't expecting too much, we live locally and have driven by plenty of times. We were surprised how good it was & took our twins for a nice walk around. Plenty of different sculptures to look at inside & out & there is a cafe you can go to as well.

Entry by donation. Wander around the park. Something interesting around every corner. See the home of the wonderful sculpture you see on the Eastlink Freeway. Good cafe with God coffee and reasonable options. Bring a picnic or a group of friends.

I was fortunate to be invite along to a breakfast here; what a wonderful space! Took some time to stroll through the sculptures and the pieces didn’t disappoint. The ‘beware of the snakes in summer’ signs were a bit of an eye opener! Yikes!!!

I love this place and highly recommend it. It is easily accessible, has great cafè with friendly staff, good paths and fabulous sculptures. You can spend a good 3 hours or more there. There are open grass spaces for kids to run around.

Came here not expecting much. However, there is an interesting variety of statues and greenery over beautiful hills. Also, the cafe was awesome since they make their own cakes, with many gluten-free and dairy free options.

The manager was very friendly, access to the park was great. We had to leave early the next morning to catch the ferry to Tassie, the manager arranged a site for us that we could keep the caravan hooked up for the night.

Wow. This is the greatest collection of modern sculpture I have ever seen. Ok. I’m no expert, but there is such a range of interesting sculpture both abstract and realistic waiting to surprise you around each corner.

Just jaw dropping, the perfect day out for art fiends and bushwalkers. The expansive bushland encompasses a collection with the likes of Phil Price, Dean Colls, there's even a Labyrinth!

This place was amazing! So many remarkable sculptures, and the current exhibition was incredible. I was delighted to find a sculpture by my first year sculpture lecturer! Outstanding!

Grandchildren surprising engaged by the sculptures and the maze. Cafe had supplies of water and a reasonable selection of food, although children's menu was not extensive.
