Been buying from this store for 3 years, since I moved in this area. Each time I get followed!! I mean they would have their staff follow or they’ll do it themselves. I come to that store too much and spend my money for them to treat me like a thief. I never see them follow any Caucasian people that comes like they do me!! On top of that I’ve heard one of them use the N word and no it was not one of their black workers. Tonight felt like I was being rushed to ring my items I left on the counter even though they knew I wasn’t finished shopping for my snacks. I swear I don’t even see why people buy liquor here they are too over priced anyway. 3 years never took anything, never gave them a reason to constantly follow me in that store. And I mean I work everyday and pay with MY money… not food stamps. SMH

Would give half a star if possible their prices on many items are quite higher (especially on alcohol) than other similar markets.. why their employees seem to only last a month or so has me thinking it's maybe not a great place to work either...I shop there only when it's absolutely necessary because I live close by and I only purchase only three different things (nothing else) when I do go there....

During this time, I had the pleasure of encountering this amazing customer service, when so many others are blindly doing as they’re told. I will be bringing ALL my friends here. Trust & believe. It’s time to support these folks. I wasn’t forced to wear a mask & he kindly obliged by his own rules in his own way without making me feel like a damn prisoner. Kudos to this place!

Don’t waste your time going. I purchased items from this store through a third party app. They did not have my items when I arrived. They told me to come back later at a particular time. I came back and they looked at me like I was crazy and had nothing for me. Do not use outside apps to sell your products if you cannot follow through with fulfilling orders.

Very good best with a wide selection of food ranging from conventional to organic. The also have a large selection of spirit for those who indulge. The owner and workers are very respectful and knowledgeable. I’m a very dedicated customer and shop here every day. I I suggest anyone check it out if they are in the South Loop.

Usually okay, but I’m giving one star for walking in on a conversation with non blacks using the n-word behind the counter. They didn’t even apologize. White people don’t cross Michigan to shop here. Black children from NTA and the surrounding black community keep this business alive. They need to do better.

Horrible customer service charge my car at $200 instead of 20 doesn't greet customers and not appreciative of the customers that they do have I would never shop here again because after the fact months later after being charged $200 instead of 20 I was accused of using a fake $10 bill

Don't recommend buying the fruits and vegetables, especially since 'All sales are final'. Crappy staff except the black guy from the deli who tends to put a smile on everybody's face, plus they're the only store that sells Arizona Sweet Brew Tea in a 50 mile radius.

Whoever answers the telephone there is rude and an a-hole. I was asking if a certain product can be delivered and he starts talking to someone else mid conversation. Like I didn't even matter. This was my first time and last time I will ever call this beotch again.

Great stop for snacks, adult beverages, a few basic grocery items, and made to order breakfast/lunch sandwices. Prices are usually lower than some of the other nearby convenience stores. It gets busy at times, but staff is usually helpful and courteous.

Love this place. Has literally EVERYTHING you think you need at very reasonable prices. Especially compared to the hotel store pricing. Within walking distance to the Hilton hotels. Nice people who work there. Will visit every time I’m in the area!!!

Awesome People I’m an Out of Towner looking for distilled water they were out and sent someone to pick it up for me and bring it to my hotel .. how many places have you been that would go to that much trouble for $3 sale?

McCormick market is an essential store for the community located on Michigan and Cermak in the South Loop area of Chicago
