This particular location on Bandera and 1604 has a bad problem with timely attending folks awaiting to order food on either lane of their drive thru. This is the third time I have seen this issue happen, and with that being the case, I can't imagine how much more often during the day this happens. People will be made to wait for service while the other lane is attended to. If you are going to do that then why have 2 drive thru lanes open? As an example, is not unusual to see 4 or 5 cars on the right lane get their orders taken and drive up, while the other lane is made to wait with no explanation. This is extremely rude and insulting (as it tells you that they truly don't care about your business or your time). I never post negative reviews, but today this location did it once again, and nobody there seemed interested in offering a simple apology or explanation. I arrived with no cars behind me or to my right, nevertheless nobody seemed available to take my order after 5 minutes of waiting, then another car arrives to the window to my right, and their order gets taken immediately. This occurred 3 times while cars started backing up behind me, before finally someone was heard on the speaker tell me to wait and that they will be right back to take my order. At that point I just decided to leave without ordering because I ran out of time. I don't blame the workers for this issue, but I do blame management for allowing this behavior to occur so often. I know that one person's time and bad review is probably meaningless for the people working at this location and chances are that it won't change a thing. Nevertheless, this is the type of customer service problem that is slowly taking away the incentive for people to choose that McDonald's location over places like Wendys, Cannes, Chick-fil-A or Sbux near by, where this never or rarely happens. I myself not going back to that Mcds just to be treated that way again.

So I questioned the staff why they give me my drinks and fries and then make me park and wait for the remaining order? My drinks will be hot and my fries will be cold by the time they get back to me.. and it was a HUGE deal.. they made me seem like I was crazy for asking such a question. This McDonalds was an average experience. I ordered 20 pieces of chicken nugget with a basket of fries and 2 hot and spicys with three drinks and a coffee at the drive-thru. To that end, when I was at the Drive Thru, they did not hand me all of my drinks prior to pulling up the waiting lane. As I waited for my food, they took care of about 3 cars. Once they brought me my food, I asked for the McCafe drink that they didn't give to me, and I had to wait another few minuets before they got it to me. However, food was fresh, and I eventually got all of my order. Recommendation to McDonalds Management: Dont pull up cars until you get the drinks settled and handled as it causes confusion and problems through your service. Overall, I would not recommend but If you do come here, I would caution to double check that you received all your items as the service is subpar.

I used to love McDs but their food and service have become a joke. I went to the drive thru today for some frozen cokes. They are really good. Decided to get a couple of orders of fries to go with it and asked for fresh fries. They sent me to the alternate parking spaces to wait for my fresh fries. They came out rather quickly and when I tasted them I realized they were not fresh nor were they hot. I called them to let them know what spot I was parked in and to let them know that the fries were not satisfactory. They said they would bring them out. They came out very quickly again and they were indeed hot but there was no way they were fresh. They tasted like they had been warmed up in a microwave. So this is the last time I will be frequenting the McDonald’s on Bandera Road near target. Until the manager gets on board with being proud of the products they put out, and conveys that to the staff, this particular store will not be having my business. And don’t bother ordering a delivery. It’s never correct.

I don't normally leave reviews but I since I already made the mistake of giving this place money today (because my kid was hungry and it was on the way home) -- here goes... Apparently they're the only fast-food burger place in the world that you have to specify "no onions" on a freaking kids meal. Needless to say, my daughter was more than a little upset when she bit into an onion-riddled "cheeseburger." We were also shorted a cookie and $1 of our change. There is no excuse for this kind of nonsense from a company that has been around as long as this...Shame on you. I loved McDonalds when I was a kid and I was hoping to share that with mine...instead, my 4 year old has asked me at least 3 times today : "Please don't get food from there again Dad..." and I absolutely will not, ever again. The night crew, particularly the drive through lady is the most incompetent worker there. She plays it as to being nice, but she is just a horrible person. Never understands anything you say and on top of it, she is super condescending. Haven't had problems before except for today. Window teller told me incorrectly what comes with a big breakfast. Drive through was backed up and had to park and wait. When I got my food, they forgot my kids apple juice. When the worker came out, he said "what's up?". That's not how you address customers. I get home and call the manager. We get "disconnected". Her tone is dismissive. She offers me some free food but all I just want her to know that she needs to train her employees and watch over them correctly. Not good McDonalds. Not good. My granddaughter loved her time at McDonald's! Kids meal with toy, burger, fries, and milk. All her favorites. The icing on the cake was the play area. Plenty of kids her age to race through the jungle gym. I enjoyed a burger, fries, and my all-time favorite, a Dr. Pepper. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. October 5, 2022 So if you go here don't do dine in, go to the drive though and then go inside. Waited 20 minutes for a happy meal and a $3 deal and one person said they were waiting 40 minutes for their food, staff ignored me at the register because you cant add "mac sauce" for the item I wanted at the kiosk. If I could give this Mc Donald’s a 0 star I would. If you go through the drive thru make sure you check your order before you leave. We got two completely different burgers than what we ordered. We were already over halfway home when we realized and we’re not willing to go all the way back. I called to let them know and ask for a refund. The employee notified me they would remake the order, but would not do a refund. We basically went to this Mc Donald’s to waste our money. Definitely never going back to this location

Went at midnight today. The fat white lady that took my order kept cutting me off and rushing me when taking my order, and messed with my order and gave me the wrong thing. I never asked for what they gave me and then she said here’s the receipt (which she incorrectly put in). Then she came to the window trying to scold me for ordering the wrong thing, when she never cared to listen to begin with. Horrid customer service. Please get rid of her.

Great food. Fries are always delicious, albeit a lot of smaller pieces. They depended in the use of the kiosk, and it was a bit awkward getting the attention of someone. But the staff saw me with kids and opened up the play area, which is high praise.

My family went to this location around 11:35 pm and we were towing a trailer. There was an employee standing by the second order land and as soon as he saw us pulling up towing a trailer he proceeded to close the lane. Such a nice thing to do when we couldn’t go inside or fit in the other lane. So if you are towing anything or drive a bigger vehicle do not go here around this time.

The food is fine but when you have to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru line after they forget a burger and you remind them three times, it kills the experience and ruins all the other food you paid for. It would be easier to just be shorted a burger.

Worst experience ever. Went to pick up an online order and while waiting for the order. My 3 year old had to use the restroom. Knocked on the door to be allowed to go and use the restroom. The absolutely rude manager refused. How can someone deny a 3 year old from using the restroom, Never again will I go there. This guy gives rudeness a whole new meaning.

They have have the lobby closed but there is clearly people in there. They told me to call the 1-800 number posted on the door but they have the number shut off. The guy who gave me the food has very VERY poor customer service. I tried to tell him the number is not working and he turned away and closed the door behind him.(skinny guy with glasses)

Fries were old, stale, and cold. Mcfluri was messy and failed to taste like mint (should've been an Oreo Mint flavored Mcfluri). Sad you can't depend on decent food, especially when you're craving something after a hard day of work

They messed up 2 of my burgers when I made it clear I wanted no cheese on both. The receipt also says no cheese, and I found a hair in my burger. Than they forgot to give me my 2 apple pies. Manager would not take my order because I drive high profile sprinter van for work ,. They told me I had to be closer to window which could damage vehicle and building. Corporate must have common sense when leaving people in charge that directions may cause liability property damage and injury.

Had issues with the app and not being able to access my McDonald's account. The manager couldn't fix the technical issues but he did comp the points I lost on that account and even gave me a coupon for a free combo meal. I really appreciated the quick and professional service, many thanks!

The best McDonald’s in San Antonio. No matter what time (4pm or 3-am) the food will always be fresh and fast. The costumer service here is the best around Bandara 1604 area for any restaurant or fast food. Who ever runs this McDonald’s runs a well oil machine.
