Today was not a good experience. Normally the crew here does a great job, but tonight it was sub par at best. Drive through had 5 vehicles at 10.45pm, including myself, and 3 were at the pay window to the pickup window. Waiting to order was 5 minutes, waiting to pay was another 5, and waiting for the order was still another 10 minutes. It was nice to be given a drink without a straw and then told to go park in lot after waiting at the window for a while. Ordered the Grand Big Mac with bacon combo. Received a Grand Big Mac no bacon, and one patty was burnt. Not sure how that is when they reheat the patties and not grill them before assembly. Fries were at least hot. A receipt would have also been nice so I could have used that for this comment and then there would have also been a record of the order. Sorry to say the night shift working on July 28th 2023 was not on their A game. As I said, in the past I have been very happy with the service and food. They normally do a great job, just not tonight. Will happily update this the next time I feel like trying again.

Sketchy, angsty customers and non-customers, so my review is not regarding the staff that have their hands full and trying to keep the paying, respectful patrons safe, as well as trying to deal with the disruptive, loud, aggressive people that prefer to torment everyone. I haven't had any problems with my order, the food is typical for McDonalds. You need to ask for permission to use the washroom, and that's understandable and haven't had any issues with that system. But I still found a cigarette butt in the sink, signifying there are still disrespectful people breaking the rules. Go outside for your nicotine fix. The tables could be wiped down more, but the staff will do that right away if you ask them nicely. Last time we were there my daughter had an anxiety attack from a couple people. One lady got into an argument with one of the staff over the price of coffee and the lady having an apparent paranoid, psychosis moment where she thought the staff were talking about her but they weren't. Then hitting a window after she was booted out. Then another girl stomped in and threw her shoes over one of the tables and was shouting and crying. I feel like there needs to be security there.

WOULD BE ZERO STARS.. BEWARE... THE DINNING ROOM HOURS ARE NOT POSTED ANYWHERE AND THEY WILL CALL THE POLICE ON YOU IF YOU DON'T STOP EATING AND GET OUT WHEN THE SUDDENLY SAY SO. THIS LOCATION IS MARKED AS OPEN 24/7 ON THE McDONALD'S APP WITH NO OTHER HOURS OF OPERATION LISTED ANYWHERE. Maybe if enough people complain through the McDonald's app, McDonald's Canada will look in to this and fire some people. They are also attempting to fudge their order completion times by removing your order number from the overhead chart WAY before your order is ready for pickup. I have waited for about five(5) minutes AFTER my number was removed. By doing this the McDonald's Canada Head Office will think that they are serving their customers very quickly when it is almost the EXACT opposite. If you can go to any other location then do so. They also keep turning off the drink machine so you have to wait to ask at the front to have it turned back on to get your free refill.

feels like mc.donalds is slowly going down hill. service isn't what it used to be or what they used to pride themselves on. Food is prepared sloppy cold alot of the time and deals on there app are terrible unless it's what there pushing that month and even then not a great deal. Honestly with what there doing now all I see is less new customers and slowly losing life long customers they did have. I estimate 10% market share drop annually till they revamp if they even can. May be too late for them which is kinda sad to say. One of my first jobs was Mc.Donalds 31 years ago and even the staff now dont look like they even enjoy working there anymore.

The restaurant itself was okay but it had a rather wierd smell to it, which was no unexpected given the people who were nearby. There is a rather large homeless population in that area of the city and it can make a visit to this location unpleasant at times. I visited during the middle of the day and given its centralized location near downtown Winnipeg there was a rather decent crowd at the time so the wait was longer than I wished, but my tea was good and my burger was good. Given the fact that it's a chain this is to be expected. The low rating is because of the crowd that frequents this place and the unsanitary conditions that can develop die to this, unfortunately. The food was fine even though the service was a bit slow.

Absolutely rubbish and low.quality food feels like left over food they have me. Ordered crispy chicken sandwich 1 small fries and 1 small coffee. After 5 minute I start eating and found the sandwich has no tometos. Buns were burnt to that exted that I can't eat my first bite. And it was super dry. Fries were absolutely under cooked and cold. Not cripy and hot atall. The worst part is coffee. When I had my first seep.i felt like I am having cold cold coffee. I felt like they gave my food which they have left over. Warn people who go to this location that please do not go to this location and please do not wast your money. Staff has no curtosy of saying thank you or sorry for the wait. Never go to this location. It's rubbish.

I ordered a meal off of door dash and part of my order did not arrive. We called door dash and they told me to contact the McDonald’s we ordered from.We called the location and the manager refused to send me a replacement or give me a refund and I even offered to go in and she said they would not be able to give me the rest of my order. She refused to give me her name then proceeded to say I was a waste of her time and hung up the phone. Very unprofessional and unhappy with my service.

Has a homeless encampment living in front of it in the side walk and when I ordered ahead on the app for the ice cream specified in a cup ,and got served icecream ina cup with a cone on top . Horrible customer service I said to the employee serving it . She then served me the proper ice cream specified in a cup. Did not eat in ,walled with my ice cream enjoying the weather deterred by the baby strollers blocking the door ,and inside aisles, and what appeared to be dangerous looking customers, and the homeless encampment outside on the side walk drinking listerine in front the restaurant. Do not reccomend.

Well you know what they say about MacDonalds...and they were right. Drive through staff totally rude and dear God if you ask them to double bag an order to keep it hot in winter till you get home! Staff work very slowly. They talk to each other and laughing, so it's a long time to wait for an order. The woman who gives the order is very rude and not well-mannered, very agressive to me. It seems that they came to rest at home, and not to work. So sorry, it used to be our favorite McDonald's. Now there is a very agressive woman in the window where orders are issued. While the food is better than most Mc Donald's and most of the staff is awesome ...I would highly recommend that they look into having on site security at all times...like a tim Horton's... considering the area...when I went in to have a meal, they had an overdose in the washroom, a huge fist fight between two guys in the front destroying an order screen...and apart from all the homeless begging for food or money...the staff did what they could but when none of them are equipped or trained to deal with this drama there is a definite NEED FOR SECURITY

I went here two times during this month. The first time, the fries was super cold and soggy. I was in a hurry that day so I didn’t notice if the staffs wearing masks or not, but the second time I went there, the woman who distributed food to customers didn’t wear a mask or any protection. And also, the guy who did our burgers didn’t wear gloves and his mask was below his nose.I usually don’t give attention to stuff like this, but please, the pandemic is still going. Please spend more attention to customers’ health, public health and your health.

This store serves the downtown homeless population, but there are times in between when anyone else can enjoy a quick meal. The customer service is excellent so the drive-thru is preferred by many. The store is amazingly cleaned -including bathrooms- at all times. I commend the work of the workers crew for their hard work. This place shows inclusiveness and proves that the quality of the business in spite of all all kinds of customers or populations it serves, can remain excellent.

Great employees, but absolutely poor health standards. I watched as my burger and fries were being made and the associate used his BARE hands to touch my bun, vegetables and food. I requested my food be remade with gloves on as it should be when dealing with food. the response I got was we are not PRIORITIZING GLOVES RIGHT NOW. then I said well I see one guy wearing gloves why aren't the others? the answer I got was actually we dont have gloves right now. No stars, I hate that you actually have to give 1. what a dump. Waited 30 min for one meal with no mods that was still wrong and the staff argued it. I Was asked for money 4 times while waiting in line for my meal. Felt like I was going to get stabbed for a box of fries. Staff has zero control over the public, I get it and they are put in a very vulnerable spot for very little pay. This location should just be shut down. I will never ever in my life go back and I hope this review heeds some warning for others to stay far away. 1

Lots of homeles at the doors and where you sit to eat they are sitting outside the windows. The inside tables are dirty full of trays. The refreshment area to be honest I dont want to touch anything. Ketchup, pop, lids on counter and on where you grab lids... ketchup and pop on them thank goodness for wrapped straws. The food seems to be getting worse. I think I will stay to coffee at this location. Use to be great and clean at all times. The staff asked a couple times what was that. Joking and kidding around front and back.

This is probably the worst McDonald's location in the city. Drive thru is incredibly slow (even for small orders like a double/double); multiple wrong orders; multiple times when coming late night, I've been told they were only accepting cash AFTER placing my order; they short change you on anything they can, large fries 1/2 full, drinks more full of ice than pop, barely any ice cream filling their waffle cones... I'd rather drive the extra 6 mins to the McDonald's on Portage and get what I pay for in a reasonable time.

If I could give it 0 stars I would!! We went there for one children's Happy meal because it was on sale for 2.99. It took eight people to get the pricing right ....the speaker was out of order ....the lineup was backed up around the restaurant and around the corner because they were so under staffed and by the time we got our order it was wrong!! Even the manager couldn't figure out the big advertised sign saying, 2.99 Happy meals every day between 4 and 7 p.m. Honestly McDonald....please train your staff.

Would be nice if this location could get my order right just once or at least put the coffee cup lid on properly so it doesn't spill all over the cab of my vehicle

Have had such horrible experiences with this specific location. Food is generally cold, made incorrectly, and has been siting out for hours. They do not fill delivery orders correctly, once leaving $20 of our order out and told us to stop calling/hung up on us when we tried to get it fixed. Staff does very little to protect its customers and I never feel safe visiting because of the people that loiter around without purchasing food and cause scenes. Only visit when you have literally NO other option.

I asked for extra ketchup packets the employee said i can't give you anymore like why this is a billion dollar company are they on a budget is she paying for the ketchup packets out of her own pocket very poor service and another thing i ordered my child a happy meal there were only 3 chicken nuggets not 4 what a total rip off the employee doesn't know how to count to 4

The staff is very friendly but this one of the slowest, dirtiest McDonald's location I've been to, the lobby is always gross and last night I waited 10 mins for a snack wrap that didnt have the bacon I was charged for on it, another 10 mins later, after watching 3 other people's orders needing correction too, I left with my correct snack wrap. Every time I visit this location I double check my order (which is missing something more than half the time) and struggle to find a clean table to eat at.

Anything with Deluxe in the title should be good. I was rather disappointed by the tiny, shrivelled, half piece of bacon in my bacon deluxe burger. Even more disappointing was the half burnt bun. The chicken however was moist and flavourful, but not sure I would get it again, especially from this location. Everyone else had an enjoyable meal.

My Mcgriddle was a bit hard, the empty table was not cleaned and still had a tray there, heard the couple across from me ask the cleaning person to clean their table, I moved to a different table and they still didn't clean the table I moved from when someone else went by to sit, the tray was still sitting on a counter when I moved it. Overall, didn't have very big expectations but expected them to atleast be on top when it came to sanitation.

Great service. This location does well with their food by industry standard. Eating area is clean. Bathrooms at this location must be a struggle to maintain with the areas clientele. Employee must escort you to washroom door to open it. They used to be able to just buzz you in. When you wish to wash your hands before and after eating needing an escort to the door is a bother. As a customer, you feel like you're bothering the busy employees.

REVIEW YOUR ORDER: Unfortunately, I had bad experiences twice with the take out service. The 1st one: I ordered a "BLT Bagel Bacon & Egg" and it came without the Bacon and without the egg. Today I ordered a Bacon & Egg McGriddle and a Large Black Coffee. They gave me Sausage and Egg and a Double Double Coffee. I am completely disappointed with that branch

Never fails with this location. The only positive thing about this time was I ate it in the parking lot and never drove away. My order was wrong again. Ordered a double qtr blt. Paid for a dbl qtr blt. Was given a single qtr blt. Had I drove away I would have been very upset. I went inside and told them my order is wrong. They remade it. This ain't this first time thisocation has messed up. One of the worst in the city .

Staff will wait for other staff to take your order and just stare at each other, and get huffy at customers when anything takes more than minimal effort It's also not uncommon to see stacks of burgers in the shelves between the counter and kitchen, waiting to be ordered

It's a McDonald's. They are pretty standard. Nothing to love or hate. This was a pretty rough one. Could not use the bathroom with your backpack. Which is ok but not super confident they are watching my backpack since it's easily accessible by anyone. An experience for sure.

The worst in Winnipeg without a doubt. I stopped in to pick up a mobile order, forgetting how awful this place has been in the past. Easily 10 people crowded at the counter waiting for food, workers flailing trying to keep up with orders and not bothering with pandemic protocol whatsoever. Truly frightening that they are more concerned with profits than the safety of their customers or staff. Never again.

It was pretty good although most burgers with bacon either barely have bacon or don't have bacon on it at all. Food tasted really good though.

They're clean, have it portioned off wonderfully well for in-house seating customers & have a manager out on the floor directing Skip the Dishes delivery drivers & customers in the rstaurant ordering & reminding them to keep the 6' distancing. They're right on top of things! It's great. Plus their little sweet donuts are absolutely awesome!

This store is in desperate need of a cleaning and an update. With the number of people that are constantly going through this store, one would think they would put kore funds towards keeping it clean.

I have gone through the drive-thru twice, the first time I got a sad salad, the second time I got cold fries instead of poutine and a coffee frap instead of a vanilla chai frap. When I called they said to mention it the next time I go there and they will replace it which sucks because this was my lunch and since I don't drink coffee my lunch consisted of cold fries.

If the McDonalds coffee wasn't so good I would not go to any of them at all. Order gets billed wrong after telling the order taker twice what it is I am ordering and food looks like it was thrown together. At least the manager was polite and rectified the situation but I should have to go in and make a stink about something so simple if people would pay attention.

Ordered through Mcdelivery app, received the burgers with patty probably sitting there for an hour, smell of warmer and with white residues on top. Sat in line for 15 minutes without any cars moving at the drive-thru. Then received our meals which were basically mildly warm fries at best same with the burgers. Turns out a large order from skip the dishes was more important than the customers that came to the restaurant. What do you have to do nowadays to get a hot hamburger and french fries from McDonalds.

Staff is usually nice but they tend to serve cold fries that are heavy salted. You are better off making a mobile order for fries no salt so that so that they are fresh and not salty. They won't give out Monopoly pieces unless you ask for them even though they are cut out and on the counter. Lots of street ppl hanging outside and inside the restaurant.

Top billing to the restaurant staff for going above and beyond handling occasional belligerents in the restaurant in a polite manner and de-escalating. Just wish restaurant was open for late evening meals and drinks in mid winter, especially when weather is extremely cold.

Fast food that doesn't taste like much. Although you have to give them points for consistency; a Big Mac always tastes and looks like every other Big Mac you've ever had. (Tasteless and looking nothing like the picture that advertised it). The coffee is always scalding hot which necessitates a stop at the soda dispenser for a couple of ice cubes.

Comfort food. Easy and quick service, staff is friendly, and always quick for orders. I don't mind McDonald's for recent purchases but not the healthier option.

We visited it to get some food and on my big mac they must've thought we said no buns and no meat and we asked no middle bun when i got home it was just salad with cheese and the sauce so we tooked it back told them what happened and they apologized and gave us a free French fries and I got to eat it. Very good visit and funny experience

Place order and emphasize correctly what I want. Missing 2 hash browns and when I bring it to their attention, I get a snarky "Oh sorry but you weren't charged." attitude by drive-thru attendant. What should have been the correct response, "Oh I apologize about that and here's the 2 more." Not my fault they weren't listening correctly.

I asked for honey when I went through the drive through and got sweet and sour. Went back and asked for honey and explained what happened. The person who I talked to wasnt happy that I had for the honey instead of keeping the sweet and sour sauce. Not exactly impressed with his attitude. He didnt even say sorry for the mix up either.

I tend to go to this location out of convenience because i live beside it, but it doesnt matter who takes the drive thru order but when i ask for no ketchup no pickles, more often than not ill get no cheese no onions or pickles and loaded on ketchup? And it isnt until you actually have left the location do u find your botched order

Typical McDonalds experience. Sometimes you get what you ordered, Sometimes you don't. No one there really seems to care too much either way. Location isn't great for dine-in. The local clientele can be ... sketchy-to-nightmarish. This isn't the staff's fault and I sympathize. It's probably a pretty stressful location to work at.

7 min on an average just for a coffee on multiple visits.. this has to be one of the WORST McDonald's in the city...(if your a walk in)....drive through gets the highest priority and you are done relatively quickly ... the dispenser for the prepay ticket pads are always out of paper ....but the floor is always clean

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered myself a mocha, and the worker filled up my cup maybe ~1/3, and then handed me my order along with a ridiculous abundance of straws (7 to be exact). No care was taken into account and no customer should receive 1/3 a cup on a $5 drink (???) Should've gone to the Grant Park McDonald's.

This place is horrible! Staff is rude and bathroom and dining room is disgusting. There was cut up hair all over the sink in the bathroom and cigarette butts on the windowsill. Don't even know why I ended up ordering something after seeing that, it completely made my stomach turn. Not coming here again ever!!

Really nice. Feels new and roomy. It has a few different types of table, do kinda cool. But one of the order touchscreens wasn't printing receipts and it stayed that way without an "out of order" sign for at least an hour. Multiple people tried it and then had to go to the cashier to figure out what happened.

Everytime I order on mobile and pick up my fries are 80% of the time soggy and the burgers are always sloppy. Tonight though I waited for 20 minutes and they didn't even give me what I ordered. So I had to wait another 7-9 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous but it's the closest one or I'd be going somewhere else.

I'm finding it harder to eat at McD's. You can get a cheap meal but some of the food tastes strongly of chemicals. Coupons are a bit of a draw but unless there is something new that catches my eye, I go elsewhere. Just doesn't seem to be able to shake the institutional flavouring in favour of something fresh.

Have to ask front clerk to turn on the fountain drink machine.. as they probably get alot of homeless people wheezing the Pepsi and root beer drink... But all in all great location..

Abit forgetful. Just came from the McDonald’s on Portage drive thru and they forgot some items I tried adding on, was just a jr chicken but this isn’t the first time I tried ordering from there that they forgot to add an item to my order that I paid for. Ugh

Came for some morning coffee. Coffee was good but had to wait awhile, definitely need more staff on in the morning. No fault to them they were working hard but they were getting run off their feet by the morning rush. Shout out to the manager: Busy is good for business, but please accommodate accordingly

Be forewarned, none of the self-serve kiosks will print a receipt and it's been that way for 6 months. Dine-in service is fast but the restaurant is always crowded and a popular hangout for creeps and hobos despite the staff's best efforts. Drive-thru is slow and sometimes they get your order wrong.

There were people inside asking for money and they keep asking more than once. It was annoying and I didnt feel that place is safe. I started eating and I didnt finish.

Had a good experience dinning in here once, but today I had to use their drive though and ordered me breakfast burrito meal. Burrito was as flat if not flatter than my wallet. as if one burrito had to be split in two to make a meal. Felt cheated. NOT THE BEST WAY TO START A MORNING FOR ANY ONE!!!

Excellent customer service. I sat down with my toddler and she was in stroller. She dropped our fries all over the floor. Immediately a worker came and cleaned it up and gave me an extra fries (but the help from another customer) but still. They are great at this location and food is fresh!

Placed my order and the lady wouldn't even listen to me and was putting things on my order I didn't order. Then the lady at the window repeats my order to me and messes it up as well, so we get things sorted pay for the food and I get my food just to open it and still have the wrong food !!

Id give 0 if i could. More often than not the order is missing ingredients (ex: no egg on an egg blt, how do you forget the main protein??) and the coffee is rarely anything other than warm water with milk. You know its a good day if your order is right and the coffee doesnt taste like piss

McDonalds is getting way to pricey without coupons for food that is not getting better. If the food was improving significantly then I get the price increase but the food is not better so why charge more and make it only reasonable to purchase from only when coupons available? Disappointed

I came here few days ago , good service is the last thing you can expect from McDonalds but i have to say the service at this store is amazing and whenever i go there the store is always clean. Specially a girl name jasmeen, She is amazing.

It's a McDonald's, what's to be said? This is in a very disadvantaged neighborhood, and there are a lot of transients that hang around outside. That said, the staff are all phenomenal and have the patience of saints dealing with the locals experiencing homelessness and mental illness.

Their food is good, however I wouldn't bother wasting your money on specialty hot drinks here. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and tried countless times and they repeatedly taste like the bottom of a burnt machine and are horrific. Waste of almost 5$. Wouldnt recommend.

They've tried giving stale English muffins out. Any time I get a tea I'm waiting 10 to 25 minutes for it only to have it been made wrong. It's ridiculous. You're better off getting a meal from the Tim Hortons behind it or going down to city place if you're really craving McD's

Often out of Blueberry Muffins which I order every morning. The problem is that they don't tell you that they are out until you get to the pick-up window (after you've already paid for it).

The Drive through had two homeless people yelling at cars waiting for food. The staff did not say a word or take action. I felt intimidated and left only receiving half my order Never so come back

At times they are fast and efficient but then it's a lineup to collect your food. The self checkouts are convenient but the printers are usually empty so you don't receive a receipt when you need one so you can expense the meal through your work.

Way too many high school kids here around lunch, gets incredibly packed with people but service was still timely. The ordering kiosks are a mess, they're slow and often have no receipt paper.
