I saw a doctor at the beginning of the year for severe social anxiety, she prescribed Prozac and referred me to Dr Giamos. I saw Dr Giamos who informed me I was taking the wrong medication and directed me to wean off the Prozac and referred me to Dr Jeanne Ling, as I had briefly spoken to her in 2019 about this after a panic attack at work, where she gave me 2 weeks off work and that was it. I saw Dr Ling as directed, she informed me she had too many mental health patients to deal with and referred me back to Dr Giamos. I booked an appointment and upon arrival was informed by counter staff that Dr Giamos had cancelled my appointment and referred me to Dr Richard Ling. I gave up hope and live with this horrible condition everyday, to the point I can barely leave my home even for basic needs. this is where the mental health system fails, right at the point of initial contact. Putting some serious consideration into taking legal action over this. doctor's at this clinic seem to like making money from initial consultations and then fail at follow on care. I highly recommend seeking a more professional practice for any mental health issues. Update 31/08/22, although Dr Ling referred me to a psychiatrist, she refuses to give me the report saying that she would then be stuck as my GP, the psychiatrist she sent me to happens to be a personal friend of Dr Ling and continuously pushed the fact that his practice bulk bills and I could see him 2-3 times per week if needed, his eyes were bloodshot and he kept dozing off during the consultation! Dr Ling is by far one of the least caring Dr's I have ever come across. I now have no psychiatric report, no GP and no Centrelink benefits due to not being able to provide a medical certificate and report. This is why our suicide rate is so high, complete lack of professionalism and care for patients. A formal complaint is being prepared for the governing body.

Over an HOUR and 50 MINS of WAITING is not acceptable. Even GP clinics you walk in and wait without an appointment doesn’t make you wait over an hour. This was my first time and was advised that Dr Ling often runs late which I was aware of and was advised by the receptionist to ring before arrival to check. I rang 30 mins before my appointment time and different receptionist told me that she has two patients behind and she has patients every 10 mins. I was not informed that she will be running late or roughly how long I have to wait for. When I asked if she will be running late, all I got was she has two patients. I arrived on time and waited over 30 mins and checked with other receptionist and she said she has two patients before me. Over an HOUR later, I asked again and I was informed she is seeing a patients before me and I am the next patient. But I saw her going in with another patient which means she had another patient before me. This is not acceptable and patient’s time is important too. I needed my certificate today otherwise, I would have walked off 30 mins after my appointment time. No matter how thorough she is, this is disrespectful for your patients and I will not return. She seems like a very thorough and caring doctor but almost 2 hours of waiting is not acceptable. My appointment lasted less than 10 mins. Wondering why others took a lot more.

Took my 7 yr old in today, no covid symptoms just a sore ear today after not being able to hear for a week. Saw Dr Giamos who asked if he had a sore throat runny nose etc - no - checked temp - no temp - looked at ear it was ‘slightly pink’ asked if anyone at home was sick said other child had a sniffle 3 weeks ago. She gets up and puts a shield over her face and demanded I do a pcr test on that child (not the patient) who isn’t/wasnt even sick and had a slight dribbly nose (think cold air, running). I told her that wasn’t necessary and I was more concerned why my child (her patient!) has had minimal hearing for a week, and no real sign of infection! She said he is getting a viral infection from other child (yes the one with the slight sniffle!) even though he has zero symptoms and that she wouldn’t treat it with anything. Couldn’t answer me why he, with poor hearing for a week would only now have a slightly pink ear . Didn’t answer me when I said what happens if it does develop he gets a temp etc then they won’t even see him. Absolutely disgraceful treatment made me feel like I had bought a covid infected child in to the clinic, gave no actual reason for the sore ear other than the backstory she came up with herself. Learn some people skills and manners. I would strongly advise anyone who actually pays to see doctors here, find elsewhere.

Since the bulk billing stopped by the government, I had NO idea at my appt in January (as it wasnt supposed to start till march i read eventually) but I was let off due to again, not having the information, only to be told I have to find $60 every appt, unbeknownst to me those on disability are STILL bulk billed, again, not informed just told to pay. For someone with long term health issues, I need someone who's going to give me continuous care and follow up, I doubt I'll get it now, even the stupid app for making appointments says there isn't any appointments and to try later!!! Ridiculous 24/4/23 - Appt for my 15yr old son ASD2, get phone call, now have to pay for EVERY appt, $60, now if it's all 3 of my family, where do I find $180 on a disability pension? Actually where do I even find $60? That's a week of food for us all, so sad that those on low income are treated so poorly now, guess ill have to find a more caring practice

I booked an appointment online the night before I wanted an appointment. I received a pending appointment summary. By the following day I had not received a confirmation so rang around 10am and was told I did not have an appointment. I then made one for that day but could make one for 1.10pm. I arrived, booked in and sat in the waiting area. About 30 minutes after my appointment time a new patient came in for their appointment with my doctor and was told the doctor is running 50 minutes late. I then approached the reception to check and was told my doctor is running 50 minutes late and I was still 6th in the queue. I was not advised that when I arrived. Also how can a doctor's appointment be made for a time 3 hours earlier and now 80 minutes late (my already 30 minute wait and 6th in the queue). This medical centre is just about money, poor patient awareness, poor doctor management and not good enough. When did making money come before the Hippocratic oath. The medical association really should shut these medical centres down or atleast make them meet performance criteria. This is not a one off, just read the other reviews. So disappointing

If you love your family DO NOT USE MEDICAL ONE. I booked my 1year old in for a appointment at 9.20am after 1hour and 35mins she was seen by a different doctor than who we had booked with. This was only because i was getting increasingly frustrated. In this time her temperature rose to 38 when she was finally seen by the doctor. The doctor kept referring to her as The Baby.. and called her a boy twice. She was wearing all pink.I'm pretty sure they teach doctors that babys are little humans with a name,which i told the doctor three times what it was. The doctor she was booked to see was Dr ling who is supposedly a pediatric specialist so she should know that making a sick baby wait is not appropriate. My wife has previously taken our children to Medical One this was the first time i have had to take one of the children and it will be the last. If you love and care for your family DO NOT USE MEDICAL ONE. I took my daughter to another doctor afterwards on the same day to get a second opinion. If the doctors can not do something as simple as time management. How could you trust them to treat your family competently.

I have been to Medical One, Morphett Vale since it opened had some amazing doctors have been seeing a Doctor there Jeanne Ling for about almost 3 years now shes decided to stop bulk billing people after making us wait an hour and half or and hour to see her depending on how long she takes seeing her patients. How about she put some thought into it and say well regular patients ill still bulk bill any new ones I won't it feels like I am being let down I am a disability support pensioner with anxiety and depression and she just pulls the rug out of everyone its not fair . I see this doc that bulk bills there and if he or she is any good ill stay but if not ill find another Doctor somewhere else that bulk bills I can't afford to pay what they are charging I thought your hypocratic oath was do no harm, by charging people to come see you, you are stopping people who can't afford it from coming. I guess they are just going to die if they can't get their prescriptions filled right. I also have prostate problems that I need to keep tabs with a doctor for, how rude Jeanne Ling screwing over your long time patients.

This practise is absolutely appalling. Made an appointment for my NEPHEW over the phone arrived and checked him in as a new patient, with a receptionist named Natalie. Returned to the waiting room where the doctor proceeds to call my NIECES name! I checked with the doctor all the right details but they had booked him in under her name. I had a referral to go straight to the hospital with her name crossed out and his name scribbled by the doctor next to it. Looked like I did it myself really wasn’t impressed when I was questioned by the hospital. I won’t be returning to this practise after I rang to speak with the “manager” and got the most rudest customer service that I have ever received from a lady called Angela. She really needs to work on her people skills because all she managed to do with the attitude problem she had was infuriate me even more. I have never ever been more disgusted in my life well done. A little bit of understanding goes a long way.

This place is a joke. Full of incompetent and lazy doctors who don’t care about any of the patients. My partner was in yesterday for an appointment and she had our 2 year old son with her and he has had a sore ear for a few days. One of the doctors refused to look in his ear because the appointment wasn’t for him. How hard is it to look in his ear for a few seconds and say yeah it’s pretty red he might have an ear infection. What a joke. I have been charged $95 by this place for a 2 minute phone call to tell me my results of my blood test were fine and nothing to worry about. While we were trying to fall pregnant my partner went in for a check up to make sure everything was okay in terms of falling pregnant and the doctor told her you don’t need to have any tests just fall pregnant and hope for the best. Pathetic

I am working and I can visit the GP only on Saturdays. I pay my fee each time and today I ve learned that the Saturday visit costs more and the visit is limited to 10 minutes!!! I ve paid $94 for having medicine prescriptions and Blood test results. Plus when I asked to have my blood tests printed out the doctor was not willing to print them out for me. I insisted to have them finally. I wanted her to examine my knee which was painful and she said I need to make another appointment for this as the visit was limited to 10 minutes and of course each time I make an apptmnt the fee of $94 should be paid. Also when my visit ended I went to the receptionist to pay and she did not made the rebate of Medicare and I paid the whole amount. The doctors do not care about the patients anymore but they see this as a business.

Absolutely ridiculous! I left this practice years ago but came back in the hopes things may have gotten better. At other practices drs have been able to send through simple things like paperwork without an appointment. Here they insisted I may a phone appointment. I thought ok, it will be bulk billed. Nope, I had a literal 2min conversation with Dr (during which I had to explain the concept of pregnancy being 9 months, not 11 as his due dat would have suggested), then was told I was being connected to reception for my email. Cut off from dr. Reception answers and immediately asks me for my card details for billing. The entire process was less than 6 minutes, and I was charged a full fee even after explaining the situation. Done with this place and will not make the mistake of ever giving them another chance.

If I could give zero I would. When I made the appointment I shared I had covid 3 weeks ago and had ongoing chest pain. Wad not informed that I needed a pcr result to see the doctor. Literally running out of brown puffer and cant breathe. Told at desk will not see me without a pcr result text even though as a state we are told rat tests are fine. Sent away unable to breathe and will not do a car consult as I havent been there for 12 months. Cant claim medicare, that's all they care about. Literally what I was told. What kind of disgraceful service is this? I literally am forced to go to hospital if it gets worse overnight as its almost 6pm. Yet they want to help the sector health? Only if it involves cash. Foul service. Try anything other than these doctors if possible.

Had appointment with doctor Mohammad shah shamiul alam he was shocking I suffer depression and he wasn't going to give me a script and I had to fly to work he made me feel like I was doing something wrong because I had lost my script like I was selling my medication that keeps me alive and my mate went there today who is in a bad way and needs help with depression anxiety and alcoholism and all he could say to him is why would u do that doctors like this will knock the wrong patient back one day and they will take there life his attitude is shocking he made me feel uncomfortable and my mate said the exact same can't believe there are doctors like this is Australia I'm going to be going to be putting a complaint into ahpra

My friend is 75 years old and has been fighting with a knee disability for over 4 years. Waiting on a knee replacement. Last year she requested as disability parking permit from Dr Soma Giamos who in her own narrow-minded judgement refused to sign the document. An appointment was made with Dr John Ling who acted immediately to fill out the document as he knew it was necessary. 12 months later A new document now has to be completed and Giamos filled it out begrudgingly to a point where Transport SA will not act on this document. This doctor has no compassion for people in need and has absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever. She needs an attitude adjustment to administer compassion to her patients.

Today we were told the expected wait time for our appointment was over 1 hour. The appointment was for our 4 month old. This is not acceptable - the appointment system and doctor time management clearly isn’t working and the centre management are doing nothing to address the issue. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last. We won’t be using Medical One in Morphett Vale again. The staff are fully aware that this happens often and have to bear the brunt of people’s frustration and yet nothing is done about it. Why don’t they address this issue and do something to prevent it??

Wasted my money! This place is a disgrace! Informed the Dr I had recovered from covid 2 weeks ago, but will only forward me a referral for a PCR test which I must get done again to then book an appointment, pay again, and then hopefully be prescribed something for my illness. Was on the phone with me for 1:45, transferred me to the desk took my money, and then took me calling 7 times to even get the sick certificate sent! No script, no idea what happened, and not even a chance to explain my symptoms. Nobody there listens, and nobody cares, they chase you to pay and then are done with you!

Had an appointment with Richard Ling but once I was there he refused to see me if I didn't wear a mask even after I explained to him I had an exemption from his wife Jeanie Ling. The receptionist then asked two more doctors if they would see me without a mask as I had an exemption and they both refused to see me, even Jeanie the one who wrote my exemption would not see me. The receptionist told me that it is Medical One policy and the doctors have a right to refuse me. I told her they are breaking the law and she did not seem to care at all. Absolutely disgusting behavior!

I took my step daughter to Medical One for the first time on Friday morning as we couldn’t see our regular doctor. Not a welcoming place and was greeted by a Scottish or Irish woman with a bad attitude. Arrogant and rude and I heard her swearing in the back office whilst I was waiting to see the doctor. After we had seen the doctor we went to the desk as it wasn’t explained to me what we needed to do, only to be ignored by her as she was taking calls, just rude! Won’t be going back here if that’s the attitude they have at Medical One

Was at medical one today for my 4 month old baby boy who was ill with a repository infection... the wait was 5min to see the docter and nurse who were brilliant. My poor baby had to go to flinders in an ambulance his breathing wasnt regular. My baby and I were very stressed and anxious and if it wasnt for the practice manager Angela Laird I would have been a mess. Angela was calm, helpful and reassuring. Im glad angela was there and she helped us through this tough time.... Thank you soo much for everything Angela you are Amazing! :)

The receptionist staff are honestly terrible. They often lie about waiting times. My favourite doctor at this clinic often runs late and the receptionists will say you’re next in line or that the doctor is with her 3:40pm patient (when my appointment is the 3:50pm for example), then I’ll rock up 10 mins later and still have to wait 45mins. I feel the reception staff have no idea what they’re doing, and on top of this, they are often terribly rude. A sad and total let down for the entire clinic, considering this doctor is pretty good.

Cant rate it a -50 stars unfortunately. What a s**t show. What is the point of a booking system if you are just going to over book the doctors and make patients wait over an hour and twenty minutes. If you're considering this place STOP its not worth it. Find a place more efficient and equipped to actually see its patients on time. I feel dirty sitting in this waiting room for over an hour. Oh and maybe don't turn the lights off in the waiting room while you still have patients waiting after closing time...

Receptionist made me feel horrible about myself and I left as a result. I had been waiting an hour for my appointment, when asking when it would be my turn, she told me that the doctor regually runs late and that I should have known that, when this was my first time seeing that doctor! Meanwhile still not giving me a time, and putting it back on me that it's my fault. So upset and cannot believe how they treat patients, absolutely no respect for patients or of the value of our time. Would not recommend.

This practice used to bulk bill so I tolerated it, now they no longer do it is not worth going! Two of the DRs I saw were rude, arogant and had zero people skills. I had a 5 min phone consult with DR Giamos for a script and was charged $60. This woman should not be a Doctor. A couple of times I have been to her she advised me to google a couple of my issues because she didn’t know enough about it. Don’t even bother going to her about anything mental health related you will just feel worse after!

This clinic is absolutely awful. Rude and disrespectful receptionists, who lack compassion or empathy. Long wait times, at times over an hour. Doctors who are dismissive, invalidating and don't even listen nor address your concerns. Then charge you excessively for the whole experience. This clinic used to bulk bill and used to have some good doctors who actually cared, so worth the long wait times and rude staff... but now definitely not worth it. I would recommend you go elsewhere!

Receptionists are friendly, and nurses have been great with my kids at vaccination time. I have been attending Medical One Morphett Vale to see Dr Jeanne Ling. She is hard working, most compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough in the care she provides- in fact, this is also recognised by other medical professionals I have needed to see for one reason or another, who provide glowing feedback about her as a GP. I always trust her with my healthcare needs. Thank you Dr Ling.

Had an apointment booked by the rudest receptionist i have ever heard, she interupted and talkes over the top of you, then when i arrive i seen who she was ( Lorna) i think that's how it was spelt, she is rude, doesn't smile, snears at you not someone you want to confront when visiting a doctor's, all other staff seemed quiet happy and pleasant as was the doctor i seen... Dont know how she still has a job there, i wouldn't want someone like her working at my work like her

I've used this clinic for 2 of my children and myself the past couple of months and have had positive experiences with Dr Gino's and another gp. Sure on one visit the dr was running late but that happens anywhere. I have found new staff this year are friendlier than others I've met there in previous years. Yes the new gaps are expensive but most GP clinics have had to start charging similar gaps. We are grateful to be able to access this clinic when we have needed.

So many reasons. Main one is the time they book your appointment is about an hour before you see the Dr, minimum!!! I got a call this morning saying my Dr has called in sick so had to see different Dr. Got told to be there hour after appointment and after another half hour waiting my original Dr who rung in sick comes out and asks for the next patient (which was not me). I got a Dr who has no idea how to talk to people and doesnt listen.

I’ve been coming here for years now and the service has only gotten worse. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes - 1 hour after your appointment time. Not to mention how unhelpful some of the doctors can be, and push you out of the door to pay the bill. The receptionists are catering, but it doesn’t compensate for having half your day taken up waiting for a 5 minute appointment. Have left the clinic now and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

My son who suffers from severe depression and anxiety was left waiting for 45 minutes until he became distressed because your receptionists (3) were incapable of checking him off the Psychologists list when he arrived. We found out after he left that an appointment we had in our diaries for 2 months had been changed and was the next week. This could have been avoided if your receptionists did their BASIC job.

My Doctor of 26 years who I followed to this Clinic just up and did a runner. A great deal of my medical information is missing and none of the other doctors want a bar to do with helping me in anyway. Its always "Youre not my patient". I pretty much got told yesterdays visit I was lying about the severity of my ongoing permenant chronic health issues. Extremely upset and doesnt help my mental health either.

If I could I would give no stars but that’s not an option. Reception ladies are rude, dr Mohammad Alam dismissive and does not take his patients health seriously. Because of his lack of interest to help my sick 4 year old 7 days later she is still unwell, a hospital trip in-between. went back like he told me too and still dismissed her! Will not be going back! What an excuse of a dr.

Dr. Giamos nearly killed me. I went in with chest pain, nausea, chills and headaches after giving birth. She booked me in for an anti nausea injection and said it was normal. I had sepsis. Luckily I went to hospital not long after. Reception staff are not good and no appointment is ever on time. And now they want to charge a ridiculous amount! Do not go here.

Had my first consult today with Dr Hsu for accupunture for fatigue. I've given up on the western doctors they havnt helped me in 4 yrs since m traditional chemo or radio again but thankyou to the doctors that did what they could .now 5 clear MRI since ive been on CANABIS oil treatment y first brain tumor removal.i will not have chemo and radiation AGAIN

I seen a Doctor Richard Tefler at your surgey but it's not the Dr. Richard Tefler that is pictured. So Who Was This Man. Because he put me in Morier ward for nothing stating I had HIV when I didn't. This is dangerous. I want to know who is this man personating Doctor Richard Tefler. The police have been notified. Shocking Medical Centre. Not safe place.

I just called Lisa who answered the phone, she was so lovely! She helped me with delivering my script to the pharmacy because I lost my script. She was so helpful and cheerful! Thank you do much! I saw Dr Sola Giamos and she was also lovely. I think the doctors rooms are organised and what is great is that you can book online and they open quite late.

I have been going here for years to see my regular GP and he was amazing and was our family doctor also...sadly he recently left and I had the unfortunate experience going to see one of the other doctors taking on his patients!...he was horrible to me extremely rude and I left in tears and will never go back to this clinic ever again!..

I can't comment on the other doctors, but Dr Richard Ling made a number of mistakes with my extremely ill mother. He showed practically no interest at all in investigating her symptoms, which had become debilitating. A far more competent doctor picked up on a very serious issue by the second consult. It's just not good enough.

So so sorry that Dr Oloo is leaving !! He has looked after Roy and myself so well. why are Drs leaving !!! . ??? Not many left now, and not sure who to choose ! I found the receptionist (Laura or Lorna) to have the worst telephone manner & a condescending tone, I rarely raise my voice let alone to be curt .. it put me off booking an appointment with my doctor, so I'm seriously looking at alternate medical centres to attend .. what a shame they will lose a family of 6 ..

This has been our family clinic for many years now. The receptionist are always friendly and professional is Dr Richard Ling is amazing with our children. He has a great bedside manner and always makes them laugh even when they are sick. He also solved my sons ongoing stomach complaints. Highly recommended.

Went in for something that was bugging me, that wasn't even checked and was prescribed something else which was caused by the other thing that was bugging me. Even asked to confirm and they didn't even bother to check. Quite incompetent, find somewhere else where the doctors will show some concerns.

It's a shame it was not made clear to me that doctors are conducting private practices at Medical One and are able to apply whatever gap they see fit . As a result I have been charged in excess of $80 for a five minute consultation by a doctor that undertook no examination and provided no diagnosis!

A very efficient Covid Vaccination clinic! The receptionists were extremely accomodating and helpful. Both nurses I have now had the pleasure of receiving the vaccination from were professional, personable and friendly. Wait time was very minimal and all an all an extremely well ran facility!

Double vaccine, Covid tested negative 12 hours before appointment and still not allowed in the clinic to be seen. Had to have a phone consult in the hot car and prescribed antibiotics without being seen. Then charged $86. Wow, our worlds gone mad! Is there no other illnesses???

Waited over an hour and a half for no dr to call my name. Every patient that came in after got called in. Frustrating experience, poor service, left me feeling distressed and upset. Asked staff how long dr would be, checked in at the start. No idea what went wrong.

The doctors are disrespectful, and shut you down the second you mention pain medication. I'm 25 and suffer from chronic back pain. Everytime have I been it's nothing but disrespect from the doctors. Don't go to this doctors surgery it's a waste of you're time.

no stars for the place! absolutely disgusting! no duty of care from the Dr. waited an hour and over my appointment time with two little ones only to be told he needs to do a PCR test and cant even check on my concerns. absolutely disgraceful!!!!!

My daughter couldn’t get into her usual dr recently but dr Sandeep was amazing he took the time to explain things and was thorough. Thank you to the girls for getting us in - the gap for kids works out to be about $31 worth it to see a good dr

Absolute garbage. Every time I come to this place, I have to wait an hour over my scheduled appointment. Very disappointed and after giving this place a few chances, I always get let down. Do not recommend. I will be finding a new place

Constantly takes over an hour to see the doctor, currently an hour since my scheduled appointment and there's still 4 people ahead of me. Only positive is getting in same day due to people not coming here due to the poor service.

Had office manager phone me today .Complained about my doctors referral not being sent to Flinders. So I checked on another referral sent earlier weeks and found that wasn't sent either. JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH IS IT.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesnt even deserve the star. Atrocious service from their dr.. wouldnt even come near my 1 year old.. just brushed her blistered nappy rash off. Wouldn't even look at it. Didn't come in closer than the door way. Poor form..

Dr Ling (the male version) suggested after reviewing my blood test which indicated a gall bladder infection. That l eat some fatty food and get admitted to hospital so i could bypass the elective surgery.

Usually I would be happy to sit and wait for a certain doctor, 20 minutes is fine but today I wanted over an 1 hour and a half for my appointment. It makes it difficult when you have other things to do.

Do not go here! Absolutely disgraceful. Doctor refused to see me and wouldn't even listen to my symptoms even though I had a negative PCR. Never been treated so poorly. Will never go there again.
