It's been several years since I have been inside looked around, done any shopping, other than a pharmacy related, inside pick-up if drive-thru was unavailable. All my past visits about 99% of the time done via pharmacy's drive-thru. Today, I spent a little time checking out home needs / housewares and the shoe department. Wow, the choices are immpressive, having a nice selection, a lot of high-end brands, a nice variety of quality, choices, and affordable prices, in just these two depart. areas. I'll definitely be shopping here, when I'm back in Indiana, to check out this store's amazing amount of selection. I am impressed with my interactions with the employees I met today! This store's layout was nicely done, well kept, no obstacle course of merch.skids, or empty boxes piled up! This store is nicely organized and very clean!! The 2-ladies' employees in the shoe departments were very friendly and helpful, they both made sure that sizes were matched correctly, and had placed the other misc items that I needed in my cart. The ladies automatically took the time and verified each item's actual prices before I left them, which I appreciate because I don't do well with inaccurate hi-jacked costs at check out. Additional 10-stars for the employee's, & the fact that actual cashiers available, & not U-SCAN only options!!!

I had to go to customer service because I bought a water bottle and didn't get the sale price. I went back and took a picture of the advertised price right in front of the bottles because it was busy and I thought that would make it easier and faster. When I got up to line and showed her the picture she zoomed in on the very bottom and said the sale was over. I said that I didn't see the date and the sign was still up and I just waited in line for the $3 adjustment. So then she had to call back to the department to verify that the sign was still in front of the bottles. After they had a good laugh about how camelbak sounds like camel toe, she told me that they would give it to me this time but from now on I needed to read the entire sign. I said that they should take them down when the sales are over and I could barely see the date. Then I said I just wouldn't shop there anymore. She said that's fine, it's a big store and plenty of people do. I couldn't believe how rude she was.

My husband recently purchased a birthday cake for me, my favorite white cake with white frosting. Let me say this cake was one of the worst cakes I’ve ever had, dry, icing that fell off the cake as well as more icing than cake. The only person in my household that liked the cake was my dog Annie that bare in mind eats her own poop! I called Meijers to tell them of our plight and they told us to bring in the remainder of the cake for reimbursement. As I was talking on the phone with them, my husband had put the rest of the cake in the trash and the garbage truck took it away in the same morning, so no cake. I went to Meijers with a receipt printed from our credit card purchased on Sept 5th for the cake but they said no go, it’s our call, no cake, no refund….they didn’t care that their product was sub par…

Great store location, great selection of food and products store is kept clean public bathrooms too. Store keeps the carts stocked at both ends food and home area never a bunch stranded floating around the lot that I have personally seen. Staff is friendly and greets you upon walk in. They have 5 dollar sushi near the deli on Wednesdays with a good variety. The game day spicy wings 8.99lb are delicious my wife makes me get them anytime I stop by for her at home. Big juicy spicy meat what more is needed. Have had any issues with the fresh produce, fruits ,vegetables, etc most stay fresh haven't been bad last awhile. I mean it's meijer not target so they do have a pretzel shop which is delicious too like an active Ann's or something but no Starbucks for those target fiends lol.

Meijer is the best, their employees are generally cheery and not beat down like Walmart, their prices and produce/meat quality are better than Kroger, their store is almost always clean, they've got a little bit of everything, restrooms are clean, really my favorite grocery store. We used to do the lion's share of our grocery shopping at Kroger but they've just monopolized too much and against their promises to the FTC their prices have gone up and customer service has gone down, so now we almost exclusively shop at Meijer! And they've got a huge selection of cool new and interesting food products for those of us on the keto or similar diets, their selection of healthier food options rivals even whole foods!

Nasty rude employees, mainly the women! Watch your Receipts; Meijer controls the scales in their stores which means the employees can't correct prices in their meat/Deli depts. They will have a cut of beef on sale in their ad and don't change the price in their computers, so your paying normal price! They have been selling chuck steak as chuck eye steak and there's quite a big difference. Pretty much illegal/false advertising. Also they will leave sale tags on shelves and fill the shelves with another product and you won't notice until you look at your receipt and you were charged normal retail.

Very large store. Very clean. Variety is great. One stop shop. They have it all in one location. Staff is friendly but they rely on the self check out...not a fan! I don't work here! They do offer handicapped carts, but I recommend going during off times to insure availability. Love the grocery department and the deli. Pre-made food is available for a quick lunch or Subway. The grocery prices are very competitive and using coupons makes it even better. They have matched other retailers prices for me. Huge parking lot and well maintained. Would recommend to others.

Unpleasant checkout experience while in store today. I was using a gift card when the card reader would not accept. I was willing to pay with my debit or credit card but before I could the cashier took all my items and gift card to the customer service desk. I then had to wait in a long line at customer service to check out with gift card and purchase my items. At least give the customer the option to use another form of payment. I could have used my gift card at a later time instead of wait in the customer service line.

Only towards the Pharmacy, the lady didn’t give her name, I assume for a reason, but I asked if they had a specific script in stock and before I could get my question out she interrupted me and said, “ No we do not, thank you” and that was it. I may have had other questions, but she was not interested in answering them. Exactly why I left that pharmacy and won’t be ever considering going back now.

We placed our pick-up order on 3/13/23, with a pick-up date of 3/14/23, between 4pm and 5pm. When we arrived, we were told they did not have our order. Despite showing them the confirmation email, they said they didn't have the order, but encouraged us to go inside and shop for the groceries. Nothing was done to rectify the situation and we will no longer be shopping with this store.

This is the only Meijer I have ever visited, & the best compliment I can give is that I very much wish they had locations near where I live in Tennessee. This store is great! Far-better than going to Wally World. Lots of stuff, great produce & meat, just about everything anyone would need on a regular daily basis. The employees were friendly & polite. I really liked this place.

I'm willing to drive past my local Walmart & Kroger just to shop here, & that's solely because of this Meijer's massive inventory to choose from. Literally! Is this a warehouse or a grocery store? Ran into an elderly man that was a cashier back in August. He was so friendly, I almost gave this place 1 star & never came back! Too bad he left...

Called ahead to ask if they had dry ice. Was told they did and given an item location in the store. Got there 10 minutes later and found the cooler to be warm. Spoke with the same lady in grocery and was told "you only asked if we carried it, I would've had to walk all the way across the store to check if it was in stock". 7:30am Oct 29th

Why anyone would buy more than just their sale items is beyond me! They send you coupons and you actually end up paying the same prices as going to other stores They keep raising their prices and then showing you how much you saved which is a normal price at other stores. Fiber powder use to cost $11.99 a year ago. Now $19.99! Why?

This location is OPEN 24/7/365!!! Only one of two, Southport and Grand Rapids, that have been for almost a year and a half now, that have returned to normal 24/7 hours! Sooooo glad I learned this secret, not many have! These hours ARE NOT POSTED NOR ADVERTIZED AT EITHER LOCATION!! BUT I GARENTEE YOU,... SOUTHPORT Meijer IS 24/7!!

The store itself is nice. It's kept up on, you can always see an employee doing something at all times in there. There have been a couple times I've asked a question about a certain items location and the employee was very wrong about where it was, which can be frustrating when you're doing Instacart. But, overall, great store.

Not a fan of making me be the cashier. If you buy clothes, there are security tabs that you can't take off, which may force a 2nd trip to have them remove prior to wearing. If they are going ro force us to do our own checkout, they shouldn't put security tags on their items. It's frustrating to find it after you get home.

Haven't been here in a very long time. I will avoid it forever more. Kroger may be a little higher, but at least you don't have to bag your own grocies AND pay ridiculous $$$ money for them. It seems to me that my hard earned money should expect to have my groceries bagged for me. Go to Kroger. Go to Aldi. Skip Meijer.

Love Meijer. Produce quality is better than most grocery stores. I love their clothing section. The women’s clothing section has all sizes available small to 3xl, in one rack- not a separate “fat lady section”. So no frustration with no bigger sizes in that style or outfit. Excellent wine , beer, liquor selection.

Great selections also prices. Was able to get my son's Christmas gift there without the hassle of shipping and handling also the wait for less than it would have cost me if I ordered online. Just went in for a few items late at night(around 2:30am). I get they only have one register open that late, but when people do shop that late and have 2 carts worth of items, they should have a u-scan open for those that have just a few items. That way 4 people aren't waiting for 10 plus mins to cash out.

The in store personnal shopers are very rude. They dont look out what they are doing; they run into you. And they act like your in their way; then you are shopping. Most are listening to music. Store Manager needs to tell there employees/ store shoopers; the we the in door shopper are why they have a job.

I love this Meijer. I go quite frequently. The store layout is good. Nice space between aisles so you can get 2 carts side by side down. Produce is excellent. Liquor shop is adequately stocked. Deli has a nice selection to offer. Ladies dept offers cute clothing & accessories. Nice book selection.

I love Meijer. I went there for cornstarch but they were completely out. They said a tornado hit they’re resource warehouse in Ohio so they may be out of some items. The deli counter associate was super helpful though. And their bathrooms were clean! Also today was Sandy’s 60th birthday!

Absolutely fantastic!! We were in a tight spot with another Meijer Pharmacy whose network had gone down, and this Meijer Pharmacy came to the rescue. I couldn't be more appreciative!!!! They saved us and we were able to get the medication we needed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I was so happy to find out that they are still open until midnight! Walmart and Kroger close at 10:p.m., and I really miss my 2:00 a.m. shopping trips. All stores that were open 24hrs no longer are. But this location of Meijers is open the latest on this side of town.

Last trip, couldn't sign onto my m-perks account to retrieve my points. And regardless of how many times I prompted the app to reset my password, I never got an email notification to do that. Small thing, unless you consider that all your coupons are now digital.

Always out of the most random items. Pick up order of 12 items was delayed almost 2 hours - rude customer service when i called to inquire about estimated ready time since nobody communicated the delay. Curbside service has gone downhill the last few months

Actually called the Pharmacy, they were very knowledgeable and made it extremely easy for me to switch from my old place to there. I'm a diabetic so I have quite a few prescriptions and all I had to do was fill out one form and they took care of the rest!

This shop has a very warm atmosphere inside and great local offerings for the home. There are antiques and collectibles, however, I didn't see anything for myself this time. I will stop again the next time I am in the area! Loved the entry bells!! JN

Distilled water was completely empty and that was the point of our visit. There were also no motorized carts available, which has been the case on multiple occasions. I did find 2 that were abandoned in the shopping area and nobody came for them.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. The employees have always been friendly and helpful when I have questions. The location is clean and normally always stocked. With the continued shortages from Covid, this is impressive.

I'm handicapped with a cane. Came in, no carts, had to walk to the otherwise to get one. Door greeter didn't care, just shrugged his shoulders. Nobody cares at this store anymore. Half the time they're out of product advertised.

Meijer are almost always great stores. This one is no exception. If you have not been here before, please stop by. It is worth the trip. Unfortunately there were several items with low stock and prices are rising quickly.

Well considering it's one of the only places that is open after dark, basocally it wins for me. Though they have really stepped up with all their name brand clothing and shoes now as well as great sales from time to time.

Their MPerks program is a hassle and if you use a "clipped" coupon, you don't get the sale price so you actually pay more if you use a coupon on some items. Grocery shopping shouldn't be so complicated.

I like this Meijer. It's easy to get in and out of and doesn't seem to be overcrowded. It's clean and seems spacious. I'm normally there for the meat deals but seem to sometimes be too late to get any.

The store was very clean. I must have gotten there during stock up time, but even though folks were busy restocking the shelves they were still polite and friendly with people asking them questions.

Usually more affordable than Target and not as scuzzy as Walmart. Almost always very clean and whenever I've had an issue staff has been very helpful. Shoutout to Kyle for being awesome!

The store is always spotless and the staff are awesome and extremely friendly. The deli is the cleanest and well stocked of any stores I have been to. Their hot food is always fresh.

Wish the place would stock up better. The fresh veggies and fruit always good but shelf stock of food staples always limited. Either very low in stock or none at all.

Meat department is very good quality. The new layout for women clothing is much easier to navigate. Health & beauty are so much better than so many other stores.

There are lots of reasons to dislike Meijer. They do a lot of restrictions on their coupons and sales and are not upfront about those restrictions.
