Very misleading and unprofessional!. I went to this store yesterday to purchase an office chair, I spent quite some time looking around the whole store/warehouse until I found a chair that I really liked, i asked the lady “how much is the chair?” Because majority of the furnitures had no price tags. She started inspecting the chair with her colleague - flipping the chair upside down. After awhile She herself said “it must’ve been from the “clearance” section “ so she will give it to me for $80 AS-IS. I told her “I will take it” she asked “cash or card” I said cash and handed her $100. She took the money and went into her office to get the change. She had the $20 change to handover to me and then i hear her colleague in a different area of the office asking her “Are you sure you want to sell it for $80?” She then held off handing over the $20 change to me, she walks to her desk and started searching on her computer, then calls me over to her desk to show me the chair listed on a website, she tells me that the chair is worth more than $300 - $400 because it’s real leather and she’s not going to sell it to me for $80 anymore…. The chair was covered dust, cob webs and it had scuff marks on the base of the chair. I was not going to pay $300 for a chair in that condition. So I took my money back and walked out with nothing.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received. Placed an order at the start of September and tracking said it would arrive within the week. A month later, still waiting. Tried contacting them multiple times, every time they said they’d look into it and call me back, but they never would. After two months, they finally told me that my order had never been shipped, I asked for a refund and they said they’d look into it. Multiple weeks and emails later, I still hadn’t received my refund. I called them to ask about it and they were incredibly rude to me, and told me “we don’t want your money because it’s bad business” yet I had been NOTHING but polite to them the entire time. Still no refund (mid December). DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Be careful with this mob! I ordered an item and paid for it in my cart because they were the cheapest online price. Only to receive a phone call roughly 10 days later to find out I needed to pay another $88 for delivery of bulky goods. I could have purchased the exact same item from another retailer for around $50 less and I'm talking about a $451 dollar item including delivery. I believe this is a very underhanded way of doing business. I expressed this point when I got the follow up phone call for delivery charges and it was reduced by $20 however I was still out of pocket. THEREFORE I WOULD AVOID THIS MOB I have purchased many items online and the price is the price delivered at the final payment.

I have just ordered some notebooks for the first time with Melbourne Office Supplies, and I am very impressed with their excellent customer service and prompt delivery. A Customer Service consultant answered my email inquiry straight away, the online ordering process was very simple and easy to use, and my item arrived with in 2 days! I am very happy with them and will certainly be using them again for all my office supplies, this company is much better than the other big branded outlets, plus Melbourne Office Supplies had the exact item I wanted, which I couldn't find anywhere else. I just wish I had heard of Melbourne Office Supplies earlier!

Do yourself a favour when you order a delivery from them to not tick that they are OK to leave the products at your door if unattended. Apparently that means they take zero responsibility to notify you if they delivered, when they delivered who delivered or anything else. They tried to tell me that in the 15 minutes from them dropping it off and us opening the door someone must have come by and stole it. Wonderful story...., Edit: Order got refunded in the end, so changing the rating to show the same fairness they demonstrated.

Update: I recieved my order sometime in the last hour, no notification to let us know that the delivery was coming or had been delivered. Just left outside the front door without knocking. Ordered school supplies in November. Payment went through on the 20th December, still haven't received my order. Have recieved 1 confirmation email, and an email letting me know they were closing for Christmas, but no books for my children to start school tomorrow.

I have had the worst experience with them. Had to call after a few days making an online order just to be told that someone forgot to place an order for the stuff. One guys told me that the stock is unavailable and no ETA. Then out of nowhere the stuff got available but still have to drive 100 km to a fro to go and pick it up as the school start time was approaching. Paid for delivery already with the order and the fuel. I will avoid them if i can

Substandard service. Advertised something as in stock but not the case, and supplier had no stock. Multiple staff making initially promising contact but failing to follow through, necessitating my chasing them up each time. Ending with a frustrating non result. Just don’t bother, life is too short to deal with an infuriating business culture like this. My first one star review ever I think.

Placed the order online and rang to see if I could pick it up the same day. Order was in stock, collated and ready to be collected within the hour. Very happy!

Queries are responded to promptly, the range is pretty much all encompassing, and delivery is quick. I gave them a shot after being fed up with some of the big box retailers, and I'm glad I did.
