Dear residents of Esch, I do not recommend this dentist because 1. Melodie Ram does not work there (still?, not anymore?). Most of the good reviews were written for her. There is no doctor speaking German, Luxembourgish very well. There is one doctor coming only on Mondays and she speaks somewhat English. 2. After the first treatment the doctor told me "I have not expected that the hole is so deep, so if you still have a pain in 2-3 days, come back". This had clearly damaged my trust in this dentist. The pain was indeed there (and even one month after), so I came back. They told me the English speaking doctor is not there and suggested to come back on Monday. As this was not an optimal solution for me, another Italian doctor checked me. So I had a strong pain and he said it is due to wrong teeth biting. He corrected it, and said it will be fine in 2-3 days. Of course, this was not fine. What he did was completely useless and I was left with pain, uncertainty and worries about that something was done clearly wrong and the teeth was not properly checked before the treatment (remember, she said "oh, it was too deep, I didn't expect it"). So, I changed the dentist, because the trust was gone, and I went through really difficult times while taking pills and feeling this pain. 3. Furthermore, the dentist was in a hurry during the treatment. She made an injection, but did not wait enough time, and it was still painful. I told her this, she waited a bit and then continued, but the effect was still not there. So after 3 times of these breaks, she just continued despite the fact that I was feeling pain from treatment. Yes, my teeth are sensitive, but this is not my fault. Please, just wait enough. 4. Another dentist found two more "issues" that had to be treated, and which were not address by this dentist. 5. Finally, they always put one category of treatment that is not reimbursed by CNS (CP8). But the thing is that the dentist must inform you about this extra treatment that is not reimbursed. I was never informed about this, and got to know it later. Dear doctors, I hope you take this for serious. Please be aware that your treatment can damage people's life. Dear residents of Esch, I hope you choose a good dentist (even if you decide for this one). UPDATE: After this review I received a call (which is good) explaining that Melodie Ram is absent for some undefined period of time and asking to "delete the absurd review".

At first I was super satisfied with Dr. Ram. She was super friendly. I loved that, if treatment was necessary, she would explain to me everything and involve me in the process so to say. I felt really comfortable. However, eventually we talked about 2 of my wisdom teeth getting removed and I was transferred to her colleague Dr. Ottaviani for this and I had the worst medical experience of my life... For context, I have to say that this was the first chirurgical procedure in my life and, despite being usually calm going to the dentist, for this treatment I was very nervous - especially with a doctor I have never met before. Anyways, he was extremely unfriendly, wanted to remove 4 instead of 2 teeth (my 2 other teeth are completely healthy) and although I warned him that I was super anxious he would say things like "do you feel anything? Because right now I'm poking really hard with a sharp needle into your gum". Eventually I couldn't help myself and I hard tears rolling down my cheek (but I was lying still and calm). He would stop what he was doing and tell me to immediately calm down, he could not continue treatment like this... Fortunately, the assistant was super nice and took 2 min to breathe with me - however Dr. Ottaviani ruined it within a few minutes later with another remark. We managed to finish the treatment with me dissociating, everything healed well and when I came back for pulling the threads, I had to remind him to remove the thread from the upper gum... This made me talk to other people about my experience and I then found out that others were scammed by Dr. Ram into treatment they wouldn't need and in retrospect I realized I had as well. I never went back and when they called me for a regular check-up, the receptionist didn't question that I declined any more service from them. I bet she knows.

Dr. Ram has a very warm, friendly and welcoming character that makes you feel at ease. She is very professional and knows her craftsmanship. I value that she takes time to involve you in the process and explains to you what is going on. Her team is also great, very friendly! I feel being in good hands at this dentist.

I am always reluctant to go to the dentist because...well I dont like the pain of the procedures, obviously, and still feel it even with anesthetic. So I can only recommend Dr Ram as she was very kind, took her time and tried to minimize the pain as much as possible. Will definitely go again. 5 stars

Super accueil, très professionnel et ça va vite. C'est bien la première fois et le seul endroit où je me fais soigner sans forcément nécessiter de piqûre anesthésiante. Mes enfants et moi ont adorent y aller. Tous les professionnels qui y travaillent sont simplement au top :)

Die Zahnärztin war so lieb und freundlich und die anderen Mitarbeiter auch alle sehr lieb und freundlich nach langem suchen und wechseln habe ich jetzt endlich meine Zahnärztin gefunden und werde definitif bei ihr bleiwen …

Malmenée par un dentiste de schifflange je revis avec elle. Très douce et explique bien ce qu'elle fait. Son équipe est très gentille par ailleurs.
