Melton council please come to Fold CCT Bonnie Brook and empty my rubbish bin which you have not picked up from last 2 weeks. I have made numerous complains but no help. You always send me council rates on time and never forget and I always pay on time. Our bin always on nature strip and properly closed. 6 months living here never had any issue. Suddenly from 2 weeks truck not turning towards our corner home. So unhygienic keeping 2 weeks rubbish at our home. Whenever I call your people say it will be picked up in 3 business days. Like seriously? I am about to bring my rubbish and leave it at your office. I don’t want my kids catching diseases nor want pest issues at my home. Worst council ever.

I left my house to get a pizza (@8:45pm) and on the way back I found the whole Hopkins Rd closed in just less than 15 mins. Without any notice. We need to be informed at least a week in advance if you plan to do such a big thing. What if something urgent happens what if we left our kids unattended to go a get a quick dinner. I am really in shock. I live in Mt Atkinson estate and road was closed on both side. We just moved to this area. Other councils send flyers, email, mail, signs. This is really not acceptable. I really hope to not see such disappointment and dangerous acts from Melton Council.

I'm having a problem with a barking dog. Spoke to Kerrie over a 4 month period, who did very little to deal with the problem. My calls and emails to the council have either been ignored or brushed off. I've filled in dog barking logs, spoken to the owner, spoken to nearby neighbours and done all the legwork, just to get the lipservice of "there isn't much we can do." meanwhile i'm getting woken up numerous times throughout the night due to a dog owner who doesn't care, and a council who won't act. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Dirty meltonites. The people working on the Melton highway are endangering people's lives, no signage, cars and trucks hanging onto the road, causing people to take drastic, evasive action. Told them to sort their signage out and got sworn at and abused then 200 meters up the road, one of their cars hanging into the right lane and forced people to dive into the left lane, nearly resulting in me being sidestepped. 1 more incident and 1 of your workers will get knocked out. STOP ENDANGERING EVERYONES LIVES BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL LAZY!

Over 12 yrs it has been unanswered emails, incredibly poor presentation of cbd districts in Melton and Melton South. Lots of having to chase up, follow up, chase up some more. Seem to have no passion in developing a vibrant business hub, no civic centre of note, no art galleries, no concert halls. Actually.. no vision. Oh, and the slogan “Melton much more” means what,? Much more litter, more bad shop presentation and more of no Enforcement of by laws re shop presentation, much more weeds, pot holes and much more apathy.

I went to pay an invoice at Melton office& was told that payments can’t be taken after 4.45pm & when asked where does it say on your website ; it was told that people don’t usually come to pay at this time of the day. It was a card payment & had nothing to do with their till settlement. It’s just it’s their time for chit chat & she did not want to do some work It is really disappointing when council office is open till 5pm & I was well within that time, my payment should have been processed!

Melton council is the most money hungry and selfish council I have ever been apart of , doesn’t have any sympathy for anyone in hard times, especially having to live from pay check to pay check to afford to live. I understand I understand the fact that my dog got into my neighbours backyard, ( he knows her he just has memory issues ) but to send me 2 fines at $400 Each is disgusting. And won’t even let me on a payment plan . For goodness sake who has $800 just sitting around these days !

I arranged for a hard rubbish collection and it happened yesterday. Somehow they left a broken vanity which is apparently concrete materials. It's part of an old cabinetry that I replaced. According to the rules, they don't collect it. Upon complaining, I got told to bring it to the tip personally. I couldn't believe it. Same with the broken tree branch that happened when we have a strong winds not long ago. I reported it and still sitting in the nature strip next to my property.

Disgusting, pathetic service in spite of the heavy council rates we pay. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. They did not pickup our recycle bin and on top of that they sent us a 'warning' letter saying our bin was 'full'. What a joke. Where are we meant to put the empty cartons after moving into the new property? We cut them nicely and put them into the bin and this is what they tell us. This is now forcing us to throw the boxes elsewhere just like others do.

My father was in need of help from home care - age-care - home modification from CSU- Sally - she was such uncaring, rude, irresponsible, disrespectful person. I am not sure why city council do not review these people performances. She needs training and learn to care about our elderly. She worked for us. With our Government funding - she does not like her job. She needs to leave her job.

What a joke!!! My rubbish bin lid didn’t quit shut ,, about 2 inches…. Yep 2 inches unbelievable!! and refused to empty it… Rang to complain told me at least 3 days before he will come back and empty the bin… I have now crows sitting on top of the lid ,, flies,, and at night most likely mice and rats coming to see what the smell is …. Melton city council… Absolute disgrace!!

Very poor service , Weve been in the property for more than 5 years , emailed contacting them many times, but the issue is not resolve yet. The issue is every time it rains its always got flooded in front of my house . They said they look into it but when please resolve this issue , I think according to them their is problem the way they did it..Thank you.

Melton council have funds only for patches on road not to build new roads, Taylor's Rd, Melton hwy, Hopkins Rd , Western fwy needs to upgrade like eastern and southern suburbs. Whole Melbourne got level crossing upgrades what about station Rd and coburns Rd levels crossing, looks like Melton isn't part of Victoria, all funds goes to eastern and south suburbs.

Council has done nothing at all to resolve neighbours fireplace excessive smoke from burning the wrong products And causing us to have asthma attacks, I have made several calls and don’t get a call back what a disgrace, I pay my rates but they won’t help With major health problems in the shire.

I live in weir veiws and the grassland in our parks is almost up to our knees habexrang council and has been over 8 weeks they still have not mowed the lawns can’t take kids to park it’s dangerous and a hazard!!! Not a person who leaves reviews but felt like I had no option!!!

Since we. the unvaccinated, can no longer use the facilities our rates pay for I and many others are now NOT paying rates. Our lawyers are looking into this for us as we seek class action for being made to pay rates for services we are DENIED access to including the Mayor.

Cannot thank Karli from the revenue department enough for assisting me with an issue we had with the rates notices. She followed the issue through right from beginning until it was all rectified and kept me updated throughout the whole process! Thanks again Karli C.

imagine taking someone to court over some rubbish in front yard from moving house during covid lockdowns. rubbish was removed and taken to the tip literally 48 hours after we were allowed to leave our homes. but that wasnt good enough according to these vile people.

Been a ratepayer under this council for 16 years. In that time i have never been late on a rate payment. Last payment i was late by 1 day and was charged interest. Although it was very minimal it is the principle that counts. You are just a number.

There’s video evidence all over Facebook of your guys council members a blond lady and a man. In the council van and uniform calling peoples dogs threw the fences of private property’s in order to get the dogs to run out so they can take them.

Contacted them many times, but they did not cut the grass surrounding my house which is council property the grass is now over a metre high and I cannot go outside because snakes have been spotted ON MY FRONT DOOR. Do better melton council.

I've always had an excellent experience when I've rang council staff are always a pleasure to speak to and offer all the help with inquires I've needed always happy and polite bonus these day keep up the good work office staff .

Donated a couple of bags full of clothes. These bags were left outside the charity bin as it was full. BINGO today received an infringement notice for littering $385.00 Yep won't be paying this. Unbloodybelievable.

What is this?? Against Melton Council Regulations and by the way Worksafe as they have drilling etc in there . You say must be 1 metre from fence. We call you you do nothing??? Should my neighbour go to the VBA???

Very friendly staff, quick to finding the solution, although some times the wait is rather long, but the people at the inquiry counter are tops, even under pressure. I believe my comments are fair and justified.

I’ve always had a wonderful experience with every contact I’ve spoken to over the phone at Melton Council. They are always diligent in following up, professional and kind.

Have been trying to pay my Dog rego for about 1 hour and still not paid, have called maybe 6+times . don't think it is good enough your system keeps hanging up on me.

Call council And ask them To come clean the streets outside my partners house and all they do is put too slippery signs out. Absolute Disgrace.

Don't cut weeds on nature strips, trim grass, collect waste. Potholes in roads. Local council is meant to fix issues on the grass roots level
