Edit January 11 2024… Kevin has come through again! We needed a new computer for my wife so we went back to the West End Memory Express to get her a custom build. Kevin asked her what she needed in a new computer and how much she had in mind for price. I’m a gamer but she is more into photography and music. He built her the perfect machine, with top quality components and stayed within her budget. The Tech department had it ready to go in two days and we picked it up. She is extremely happy with her new computer and its performance. Once again memory Express, Kevin and the staff has shown exemplary customer service and value. Thank you. (Original Review .. 8 months ago) I needed a new gaming computer and went to the West End Memory Express. The first thing that impressed me was the friendliness of the staff and how clean the store was. This is the second machine I have purchased for Memory Express, but my first custom build. My sales associate / Tech guru was Kevin who was incredibly helpful. I had an idea of how much I wanted to spend and I wanted a custom build. Kevin built me an amazing computer, with top gear and was a little bit under my budget of $2000! Fantastic. He took the time to explain each component and why he thought it a good fit for my new gaming computer. My new computer was ready for pickup the next day! Admittedly I paid the extra 25 bucks for a priority build. Kevin phoned me personally (nice touch) to tell me that my computer was ready for pickup. He explained everything about set up and the warranty and even helped me carry the boxes to my car. He said to call if I had any questions. This I call exemplary customer service. Thank you Kevin, you're the best! I am extremely happy with my new computer, its blazing fast and I have had no issues. I will definitely recommend Memory Express to friends and acquaintances, as well as making Memory Express my go to for computer gear. PS I am a 70 year old who loves gaming, my first computer was an Atari 400 and have been gaming many many many years.

Jackson and his team helped me purchase a gaming laptop for school. Before arriving, my computer knowledge was minimal - the team took their time to explain and show me comparisons of the various products. I am happy to say my knowledge has advanced. I would say I was a challenging customer because I needed explanation on every detail. I had to understand the specs fully before making a decision. Throughout the entire process, team members were very patient and they talked to me with respect. I ended up talking to 5 or 6 various people, across departments, throughout the purchase process. In addition to the laptop, I ended up buying various accessories. This is my go to place and I would highly recommend ME, and specifically this location. Thanks ME!

Eventually I got fed up and I asked if I could exchange it. The team at ME was extremely patient and helped me every time I had issues, and approved the exchange with only a small decrease in value for the original machine (which is understandable given its use). Thanks to them I was able to get a better machine and get back to work! Thanks guys!

Memory Express is my definite go to for all electronics, great selection and the staff are always willing to help and they know their stuff! My only reason I’ve given a 4 and not a 5 star is because I find sometimes their hours are a bit frustrating on the weekends. Most electronic stores are open until 7 or 8, but Memory Express closes at 6 on the weekends a little earlier than most, as someone who works nightshift I usually don’t have time to make it before 6 on which forces me to go to a competitor as I always want to see a item in person rather than online shopping. Other than that, I definitely recommend them.

I had to take my computer in due to it crashing specifically for two of my games. Matthew was so lovely to work with, a wizard in this profession. He explained everything to me in layman’s terms and didn’t make me feel like an idiot for asking some silly questions. My pc is running great with all of the work done and the in depth instructions that Matthew took the time to provide! Johnathan was another person that I had the opportunity to work with and he was also great! Very friendly and patient. Absolutely improved my experience and made me feel very welcome in the store. Thanks again guys :)

I have been buying my gear here for a few years now always been good prices and service. I never had a problem until recently when I had an issue with some parts on an upgrade project and this is where their customer service shines through. I was able to head over to their service department and ask for help, they tech it with me no charge, and had absolutely zero issue with me returning or exchanging the equipment that wasn’t working for me. Got me sorted with new gear and everything worked out perfectly now. When your doing custom PC builds this is the service a person needs, good job all.

Anytime I deal with MExpress I feel like I should be paying more for the quality of serves they provide. I been in a rush and go to some local shop with no wait times and I'm paying triple for a shotty job, when I should of just gone to the experts. Also I built my computer in their shop once for free with them guiding(not touching) me along the way. Twice I have gone in for a diagnostic and they just looked at it quickly instead. Feels like some old school TLC to the customer that you just don't see anymore. I would pay just to give them another star on this review!

Brought my laptop in with noisy fan issues. Had a diagnostic done and fans replaced. Service desk staff, Jake S. and Thomas P. were exceptionally helpful and service tech Matthew gave me great advice on how to keep my machine running smoother when he called to tell me it was ready for pick-up. Thomas P. helped me with some software issues when I picked it up and I couldn't be happier. I have bought computers here for myself and my sons and I wouldn't trust anyone but this store to look after them. Will be back when it's time for new ones.

Thomas In the technical support (repair?) Department was extremely knowledgeable helpful and patient with me. Never do I have such coherent advice over the phone from anybody in any other company. I really like the fact that if he didn't know something he would say it and it was willing to offer his own personal opinions on things and be patient and explain different technical details. Very helpful in making me comfortable to make an informed decision on a such a large purchase in the future. Thanks Thomas!

I called in about a Corsair h110 liquid cooler that started to leak on me, and they helped me out right away, super friendly over the phone! The service was speedy on their end and got me into a new replacement fairly quick. After a few trips from my own mess up they got everything sorted out within minutes and sent me back on my way. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone that is looking for good service and super friendly staff that's eager to help

10/10 experience. Rayan helped my boyfriend get a whole new computer set up. He was quite friendly, gave great advice and was focused on getting us the best deal possible. Some issues with getting the main parts tested on the motherboard, we were told a different employee had messed up three times and had to get the manager involved. Manager was very nice and friendly as well. Overall great place with great products and staff.

I'm actually a customer from Vancouver. Called in about one last stock (from the whole company) of a laptop I want, which was in this store. Asked for delivery to be arranged to BC and boy did James delivered. I was pretty much bugging him from the start to end of his shift and customer service was outstanding at all times with my endless questions. Highly recommend the store. Cheers.

Very very good service, I am always happy with the staff there. Very helpful. I booked pickup in store graphic card today 7900 XTX. They had only one left it was hard to find it and they look for it about 20 minutes and found it for me. If it was any other store they would of said (sorry can't find it see you next time.) I recommend this location 100%

I came looking for a specific monitor of which I knew the store had only one. Ryan was super awesome in taking the time to try and find it and despite not being able too, took the time to call over to the south side store and have an accociate over there hold one for me. Place gets crazy busy but the staff has always been super helpful.
