Unfortunately I had a terrible experience during a house settlement recently. The practice failed to respond to phone calls and emails. The Conveyancer promised to send through documents and I was left waiting days without receiving anything. In addition the settlement adjustments were calculated incorrectly (based on an unexecuted copy of the contract of sale) and I had to come up with an additional $9k an hour prior to settlement. Talk about a stressful situation! As a single purchaser I had not foreseen these additional costs and had to rely on family members to fund. When I raised this with the Principle he was, rude, dismissive and didn't want to make time to discuss with me. He made a point that I should of checked the calculations (what experience do I have to check this, what do their fees cover?). Single women purchasing a house for the first time, avoid! Support locals, no thank you! Support competent, reliable and experienced team members.

Chris maybe. Louisa no. Was refuting an Ivo matter. They asked for 2 year extension, I walked out of there with a 5 year extension. No breeches, no evidence to uphold, but it went ahead unless I was prepared to pay another $2000 representation for the day to argue against. People...please see this system for what it is designed to do. Empty your bank accounts. They have no sway in the system. Merely a puppet. *****this is your interpretation of a good outcome???'. I went in to refute a 2 year application for extension of order, and walked out served with a 5 year extension of order approved, and $2000 out of pocket!! Not satisfactory in any way.

Very very poor communication, my father passed and we employed mepsted to process the probate. Every time I asked for information, clarification or progress report there was either no response or it was weeks later. Specifically Louisa campagna, it would have been easier to get in touch with the prime minister. I would advise all others to go elsewhere if they have any issue regarding probate.
