Das Museum habe ich an einem Sonntagmittag besucht. Empfehlenswert ist es das Ticket vorab online zu kaufen, sodass man sich nicht in der Schlange vor der Kasse einsortieren muss. Ich konnte mein Ticket wenige Minuten vor dem Besuch kaufen und direkt zum Eingang gehen. Für Taschen und Jacken stehen Schließfächer mit PIN-Code bereit, die kostenfrei benutzt werden können. Der Bereich der Schließfächer wurde auch permanent durch das Sicherheitspersonal überwacht. Der Besuch im Museum selbst hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Wie der Name sagt, werden hier Modelle aus dem Mercedes-Konzern ausgestellt. Nach dem Eingang und abholen des im Eintrittspreis inbegriffen Audioguides, geht es direkt mit einem Lift in den 8. Stock des Gebäudes. Die Ausstellung ist nach Epochen aufgestellt, sodass automatisch die Entwicklung chronologisch durchlaufen wird. Im unteren letzten Raum sind die Rennwagen ausgestellt. Leider war zum Zeitpunkt meines Besuches der Teil mit den Formel 1 Wagen der Ausstellung aufgrund von Bauarbeiten nur aus der Ferne sichtbar. Der Eintrittspreis hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Ich denke bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Stuttgart werde ich hier nochmal hinkommen.

My time at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart left me with mixed feelings. ️ While there were positives, some aspects fell short of my expectations. The museum layout and historical insights into Mercedes-Benz vehicles were well done, and the reasonable entrance fee was a plus. However, the lack of significant changes over the past 5 and a half years was a bit disappointing. ️ I hoped for fresh additions to keep the experience captivating for returning visitors. A downside was the presence of unrelated political propaganda along the walking route between floors. ️ This seemed out of place and distracted from the museum's automotive focus. The souvenir shop at the end didn't live up to expectations due to high prices. It dampened the overall value after paying the entrance fee. I recommend avoiding the museum during summer holidays due to large crowds. ‍♂️ This can detract from the enjoyment of the visit. In conclusion, the Mercedes-Benz Museum has highlights, especially for car enthusiasts, but updates, pricing, and overall visitor experience could be enhanced.

Absolutely stunning museum designed to hugely enhance the amazing displays of historic and current Mercedes-Benz cars. We spent over two hours there and, had it not been closing time, would have stayed a lot longer. We thought the price of €12 per adult was excellent value for money and, as well as truly appreciating the sublime architecture, we were massively impressed by the world history displayed in the panels down each of the curving walkways on each floor. And to the cars! An awesome display of high quality vehicles of all types with individual plaques to explain their significance. No-one could fail to be impressed by the range, quality and descriptions for each vehicle on display. From the first historic cars to the most current Formula 1 cars, the range is quite unbelievable. The toilet, accessibility and food facilities are all top class, as is the range of items to purchase in the shop. In all, a highly recommended experience which is too good to miss if you're in Stuttgart. Thank you!

The MERCEDES-BENZ MUSEUM is amazing place with plenty of vehicles. When you first arrive, you take the elevator to the top floor and walk down the spiraling path. A well-presented and arranged museum that not only encompasses the history of Mercedes Benz but also the history of the automotive world of cars. There are many of beautiful cars, trucks,F1 cars, buses. Everything is explained really well and plenty of information about every vehicle. Few euros for a ticket is really worth. The tickets were well priced and included a free audio guide. Good restaurant to dine in after your walkabouts. ne can easily spend 4-5 hours and if you are a car enthusiast even more.The museum was well laid out with plenty of lighting. The parking garage on the backside of the museum made the visit painless and easy.

Eins der schönsten Museen / Austellungen die ich besucht habe. Der Ticketpreis von 12€ ist Wahnsinn für das was man alles zu sehen bekommt. Das Konzept, dass man mit dem Aufzug in die 8. Etage fährt und dann Etage für Etage runtergeht ist super, so kann man nichts verpassen und sich nicht verlaufen oder verlieren. Das komplette Gebäude ist ein Hingucker, Außen wie Innen. Liebevolle Details und viele interaktive Angebote, alles unglaublich toll präsentiert. Sonntagmorgens ca, 11 Uhr, kurze Wartezeit für die Tickets und angenehm wenig los. Nach dreizehn Uhr war allerdings schon wesentlich mehr los, ein früher Besuch lohnt sich also. In der Straße konnte man kostenlos parken. Eine Einfahrt ins Parkhaus ist nicht unbedingt nötig.

Ein tolles Museum was neben Autos auch zur Geschichte, Weltgeschehen, Entwicklungen viele Texte, Bilder, Interaktion bietet. Mit einem günstigen Eintritt von 12€ pro Person ( Normalpreis) bietet es sehr viel. Jeder bekommt ein Gerät mit Kopfhörern, neuere Technik mit dem man sich interaktiv Informationen anhören kann. Dies auch für Kinder. Man sollte sich viel Zeit nehmen. Ich bin zunächst mit dem Aufzug nach oben gefahren und so läuft man stetig leicht und langsam bergab durch die Jahre. Im Café war die Bedienung freundlich und zügig. Es gibt einen Shop und ein Restaurant Ich werde auch wieder in dieses Museum gehen, da ich beim ersten Mal nicht alles aufnehmen konnte.

A great place to visit when in Stuttgart. I have been there twice now and I am mesmerized each time. Their organized manner, way of storytelling is just amazing. We started at the very beginning of human civilization of using horses as a mode of transportation. From there, the discovery and use of motor vehicles, steam engines and fuel engines was just marvelous. A huge collection of collectibles and historical facts made the entire experience worthwhile. This was really a great experience for us. They also had a nice cafeteria and souvenir store along with a simulation centre. Tickets are subsidized for students, kids and senior citizens.

A very nice museum about the history of the company. Consists of 8 floors. You start right at the beginning (8th floor) of the creation of the 1st motorized vehicle as you walk down (no stairs) along the history (politics, economy etc) to the cars of the future. You get a digital guide which automatically recognizes positions to give corresponding information. At the end there is a museum cafe and a souvenir shop. The entrance fee is fine. From 4.30pm it is at half price. Open Tuesday to Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on Monday. There are free lockers near the entrance to keep bags and etc.

Wir waren an einem Samstag gegen 14Uhr vor Ort. Tickets online bereits gekauft und das mit Grund. Sehr lange Schlange vor der Kasse. Daher für uns ein unkomplizierter Einlass. Optisch einem Mercedes-Benz Museum gerecht. Man arbeitet sich von ganz oben nach unten im jeweiligen Zeitalter durch. Spannende Entdeckung von der Entstehung des Autos bis zum heutigen Auto. Zudem weitere wichtige Weltereignisse an den Wänden erwähnt. Für einen Samstag sehr überfüllt,muss man einplanen. Schade fanden wir,dass es unserer Meinung nach zu wenig Auto‘s der heutigen Zeit zu sehen gab.

One of the best automobile museums that I have been to (as an automotive enthusiast)! The museum was filled with not only detailed history about the car as a mode of transportation, but also world history so that one could understand the context of which the inventions or innovations were made in. Such a diverse collection of cars, iconic and legendary. 4 stars because I would have loved to see the latest cars from Mercedes-Benz. The newest ones in the museum were only concept cars from the past decade. Bit disappointed in this respect but all in all, worth the visit!

Ich hatte Pech, teures parken im Parkhaus und dann war ein Parkautomat defekt, der nächste wollte meine Karte nicht. Hilfe von einer Dame aus dem Museum, aber dann musste ich immer wieder Geld wechseln, da der Automat keine Scheine wollte... Im Museum war es sehr schön, obwohl manches 2x und einiges nicht erklärt wurde. Woher soll ich wissen, dass bei 2 Lenkrädern, das kleinere die Feststellbremse ist... Mir persönlich waren dann auch zu viele hochmoderne Autos dabei!! Ein altes Auto zum reinsetzen wäre ein Höhepunkt gewesen...

The museum has the best building setup, design and displays, I have encountered in my last years of traveling. The history of MB has a lot of information and all the representative models to make a point in the story telling, and it is not overloaded so the visitor doesn't feel overwhelmed. The multiple choices of how to walk through all the rooms, and floors, made a day go so fast. 2 adults and 2 kids - we didn't get bored,not for a minute. We could go again, there will be different stories and details that we could enjoy.

Ich habe eine unglaublich tolle Führung erlebt, die sehr spannende Einblicke in frühen Jahre der Automobilindustrie gegeben hat. Der Pioniergeist und die Wege und Irrwege des Unternehmens auf die Veränderungen in der Welt haben mich sehr beeindruckt. Ich empfehle das Museum vor allem, weil die Fahrzeuge und Entwicklungen immer im Zeitkontext dargestellt werden, mit Liebe zum Detail. Die Balance zwischen Automobilgeschichte und der Marke Mercedes-Benz ist sehr gut gelungen - keine Werbeshow!!

Man muss kein Benz-Nerd sein, um sich an diesen wunderschönen Exponaten zu begeistern! In perfektem Licht präsentieren sich die Fahrzeuge der langen Geschichte von Mercedes-Benz. Vom futuristisch gestalteten Gebäude blickt man aufs Werksgelände und kann das eine oder andere Fahrzeug über die Teststrecke fahren sehen. Schön auch mitzubekommen, dass sich junge Menschen am Auto-Kult begeistern können und dass es für die Jugend ein Leben neben der Klima-Religion gibt!

Das Mercedes Benz Museum ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Über die Geschichte erfährt man hier einiges. Das einzige das mir nicht so ganz gefallen hat, war dass es zu wenige "aktuelle" Modelle zu sehen sind. Auch wird die G-Klasse leider komplett außen vor gelassen. Ansonsten ist es wirklich sehr angenehm dort Zeit zu verbringen. Edit: Jeden Sonntag ist dort Oldtimer treffen. Auf jeden Fall einen Blick wert.

Es gibt auch immer wieder informative Bereich zur Weltgeschichte die parallel zur Entwicklung des Automobils stattfanden. Awesome museum to learn more about the evolution of Mercedes cars, trucks, buses, etc. you’ll even get a history lesson of Germany if you spend time reading the informative displays on the side. There are 8 floors and you can certainly spend many hours here if you go through the audio guide in great detail. 3 hours will certainly be enough to get an in-depth experience. 4-5 for an extremely detailed visit.

Waren mit unseren Kindern dort (4+6) und uns allen hat es unglaublich Spaß gemacht und beeindruckt, gibt auch einiges zu machen für Kinder. Bin kein riesiger Auto Fan, aber es war schon toll die schönen Autos betrachten zu können und ihre Geschichte dazu zu erfahren. Für einen ausführlichen Rundgang benötigt man so ca.4 Stunden. Lohnt wirklich die 12€ Eintritt. Kinder bis 12 Jahren sind kostenlos.

We've been there on Saturday afternoon, didn't felt crowded. Museum is HUGE! Amazing experience, would recommend it to everyone. The entry is low in comparison what you see. You can even enter in some vehicles. Employees were mostly all very friendly. We can recommend also restaurant in museum, very cosy environment, friendly staff and food was delicious.

Tolles modernes Museum mit riesiger Ausstellung rund um die Geschichte von Mercedes Benz. Vom ersten Automobil über Nutzfahrzeuge bis hin zu den Silberpfeilen. Man fährt mit dem Aufzug zum Start des Rundgangs hinauf und läuft die thematisierten Etagen hinunter. Im Keller gibt es interaktive Elemente für die jüngeren. Man muss das Museum mal besucht haben.

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Mercedes Museum. Obwohl ich öfters in Stuttgart war hatte ich es nie geschafft hierherzukommen. Ich habe einen audioguide bekommen. Es wird alles schön erklärt und wenn man möchte kann man sich noch detaillierten Sachen abrufen. Es ist wie eine Zeitreise. Ein wunderschöner Ort den man besuchen muss, wenn man in Stuttgart ist.

Ein wunderschönes, modernes Museum mit interessanter Architektur und tollen Autos. Die spiralförmige Konzeption der Ausstellung hat mir sehr gefallen. Ein futuristischer Aufzüge bringt dich in die oberste Etage des Museums und dann beginnt deine Reise durch die Zeit. Du kannst Etage von Etage mit Audioguid in die Geschichte von Mercedes-Benz eintauchen und wunderschöne Ereignisse und Momente sammeln. Das Museum ist definitiv einen Besuch wert ❤️❤️❤️

Ansich ein sehr spannendes und vielseitiges Museum. Schön aufgebaut, aber teilweise ein bisschen unübersichtlich. Außerdem nur viele von altfahrzeuge und kaum neuere bis Neuwagen. Dafür hätte man dann in das neben liegende Authaus gehen müssen. Dort wurden wir dann aber fündig. Die Souvenirs sind aber überteuert und das Parken im Parkhaus auch!

Amazing facility in the heart of Stuttgart. Definitely worth visiting whilst in the city or when passing by. The museum offers extensive parking space directly connecting with each floor. 1st floor restaurant has great seating with comprehensive food offering, whilst coffee shop serves quality hot and cold beverages.

Amazing museum, 8 floors, I can recommend to start to visit from the last floor taking the elevator at the entry. The history is very interesting from the end of 1800. Beautyful cars, bus and other motors. The visit need minimun 1,5h and if you get the ticket after 4PM you can pay 50% less. Bag and bathroom services.

It's a very cool museum with many old cars and history. The museum is laid out so that you go from the oldest cars to the newest models, you can even see a W11 F1 car. If you are a student it is only 6 euro and for that price, it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend visiting!

Groß, gut strukturiert und sehr informativ. Nicht nur die eigene Geschichte wird dort durch reichliche Informationen und historische Belege zum Leben erweckt, man bekommt die gesamte deutsche Geschichte rund ums Automobil aufgezeigt. Als Highlight kann man dort zum angemessenem Preis gutes Essen im Museumseigenen Restaurant genießen

Wir haben 12 € Eintritt bezahlt und ich empfand es als zu hoch. Die Exponate sind nach Themen gegliedert und es befinden sich wirklich schöne Autos dabei. Die Architektur des Museums ist wirklich gelungen und erinnert ein wenig an das Guggenheim Museum. Was aber wirklich nicht geht sind die Preise für die Getränke in der Cafeteria.

Beautiful buildings with a great story to be told about Mercedes history. Starting from the 1500s all the way up to today and beyond. Showcasing cars from different centuries and the innovations made over time. Also did a good job of showing what was happening in the world at the time the cars were released which was interesting.

Man muss kein Autofan sein, um dieses besondere ästhetische Erlebnis zu genießen. Die Architektur, die kunstvollen Details, wie die Autos in Szene gesetzt sind... Absolut hinreißend! Dazu die Geschichte, die Informationen, die auf interessante Weise dargestellt sind... Dieses Museum sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.

Schönes Museum, das die ganze Geschichte von Daimler und Benz zeigt. Die Audiogides finde ich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Mal loggen sie sich von selbst ein, die anderen Male muss man sein Gerät direkt an die WLan-Station halten. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen. Parkhaus schon recht teuer.

Absolutely must see! Nicely done Mercedes Benz. Be prepared to spend a few hours. Parking is easy in the underground garage. A walk in time through world history. So glad we went.

Sehr schönes Museum mit absolut sehenswerten Exponaten. Bequeme Anfahrt in eigener Tiefgarage, sogar mit etlichen Ladestationen. Auch das Restaurant hat lecker Gerichte. Der Eintrittspreis ist moderat. Sehr empfehlenswert.

It was worth the price. It’s fascinating to see how the brand has evolved over the years. There are 8 floors in the museum and on each floor the vehicle displayed tells a story of the brand’s journey .

It was an exceptional experience. The museum is big, with so much of history into it and very well planned. They also have proper restaurants and cafes along the way.
