-Keys.. Went there to have a key made, guy said it is a Medical Key(special apparently) and wanted to charge $15. Went to another hardware store they did for $10 -Home Door Lock.. Metro wanted $250 just to come look at it(applied to cost of repair if repair needed) and if had to fix could be as much as $1,200. Called another locksmith came and fixed TWO locks for $125 total

Metropolitan Locksmith absolutely saved my day - I was in need of an extra set of keys and low and behold Angel welcomed me to his very professional store and made me a set of keys in minutes. Amazing place! Went to go get one set of keys made and the man who helped me was so helpful and friendly! He completed the copy super quick and i got to pet his new puppy Pico while i waited :) will recommend them to all my friends and use them in the future!

I have lived in New York for 35 years. It feels as if a lot of the small businesses that made this place special are slowly dying out. What I love about this place is it reminds me of the old New York. Great and friendly staff, always super helpful.
