Customer service is everything! Adel is the kindest person we have met in Austin since we got here a couple weeks ago. My sister and i temporarily relocated to Austin and we had to look for a laundry service with a good reputation. I'm a reviews kind of person, I always review places and I always rely on reviews while locating places and services. This laundromat had awesome reviews and they we're all about Adel, the gentleman who works there full time. So we went there in the evening with 2 loads of laundry and the place was almost empty and Adel approached us, greeted us and helped us with maneuvering the Washing machines and even helping with change for the machines. He was kind enough to show us the ropes, advise us and even recommended some places to visit in Austin, good restaurants/food trucks, etc. We left for a short walk and when we came back to put our clothes in the dryer, Mr. Adel had already loaded them for us. How kind is this gentleman? The level of customer service he has is beyond measure and he has our business. We have recommended him and this laundromat to all our new friends in Austin and this is the only laundromat we will use from now henceforth. The machines are new and work great. The dryers take very little time to dry. The ambiance is good. It is not crowded at all. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet. This is our new go-to laundry. Thanks Adel.

My sister needed to wash 3 sleeping bags, so I looked for laundromats on Google. I couldn't believe a laundromat had such a high score. I started reading the mostly all 5 star reviews and we decided this was where we needed to go. We had dinner plans, but thought we would have time after dinner since this laundromat had a closing time of 10 p.m. I loaded the sleeping bags into the car and that put my brain into the we are ready mode. We arrived at the laundromat after 8 p.m. and Adel was there ready to help us just like all the reviews said. He asked us if we had our own laundry soap - no we forgot the other important thing needed for laundry. No problem, he had some available. He helped us load the washers and later move to the dryers. He made sure we put them in so they would wash/dry evenly and not bunch up. He had the quarters ready and the best part was watching him feed them so quickly into the machines. He was very friendly to all the customers that came in and we could tell some of them were regulars. We were the last ones there and he helped us roll the sleeping bags when they were done. It was just about 10 p.m. when we left. He never made us feel like we needed to rush. I highly recommend coming here to do any laundry you have.

I work for myself and the laundry center at my complex is always so busy, and even if you get a washer the washing machines run about 2-3 hours so by the time I'm done with laundry it takes about 8 hours of my day. Running back and forth drove me insane! I decided to look around for laundromat that was affordable and had a same day wash and fold option. I stumbled upon Michael A Laundromat. I brought my laundry in around 10:30am and it was done by 1pm! I came back and my laundry was folded beautifully and to my surprise he even hung up my dresses and jumpsuits. I love this laundromat! I hate doing laundry but I really enjoy it when I'm here. The owner/operator Adel is so kind and accommodating. The neighborhood and general vibe while inside is super chill. We just moved to this part of town and hadn't installed a washer/dryer in my rental yet. I decided to pop in here to do a quick load and have now been here every week since. I may not even buy the washer/dryer now. Laundromats usually stress me out but this one has the opposite effect. Doing laundry is very calming. And the food mart next door has good breakfast tacos! I rarely do online reviews but this place deserves a shout-out!

This is the best laundromat I’ve ever been to! Kind staff and the machines work really well, my stuff always comes out super clean. They have benches so you can sit down and wait (it’s a very calm environment) or you can leave and come back. They have change dispensers if you have cash, but if you’re paying with card they’ll give you quarters and add up your total at the end and charge your card. I only ever do self service but I see them working diligently on the drop off loads every time I come in. People always leave happy <3 11/10

Thus is my my favorite laundry places to go to because they are small, and convenient for me, not always so busy or packed up. And the price fit my budget, so the price is perfect for me. The machine there, are the the way I like it and the staff there are so very nice and kind and respectful. And the store next door is always very kind and helpful and has everything I need inside the store. I have been going here for 5-16 years so I love the place. I can park my car, wash my clothes, and get a bit to eat next door.

super nice attendant, offered to help me get my laundry out of the car since i was washing a bunch of large items. also provided quarters and helped get it all loaded and started. Then he helped me move to the dryers which were reasonably priced and made change for me again, he even offered me dryer sheets. it's a bit off the path and older, but the machine's work, the price is about the same as other places I've been, but the service cannot be beat! highly recommend!!!

Like many people in the Austin area, my partner and I have been shuffling around from apartments to Airbnbs until housing construction is completed. One major downside to that has been limited laundry facilities. The team at Michael A Laundromat has taken care of our laundry needs and are absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend their services to anyone interested in quality and top notch customer service! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Adel(I hope I didn’t spell it incorrectly) was super friendly over the phone and extremely helpful in the mat when he doesn’t need to be. The experience I had at this small neighborhood launder was everything a new comer to the city needed. The prices are reasonable, the machines are fast, and you can tell this man takes very good care of not only his business, but his relationships w his clients. I will definitely be back!

Just finished washing. And i looked at a dryer. Headed rite towards it And the guy doing laundry there Sticks money in it. And running it with nothing. Just so i wouldn't use it for 20 min when i said something. He said he checking the heat. And i said no u ain't. U did it so i would use it. He then said they all work the same. If thats the case why did he do that

Was traveling through town and ended up needing to do a quick load of laundry. This laundromat was close to our Airbnb so we dropped by. I can't say enough about how awesome they were. We had no detergent, quarters etc. but the owner immediately helped us out, got us everything we needed and made the experience so easy. We were in and out in no time. Thanks so much!!

If you’re looking for the most friendliest, and efficient laundry-mat service look no further! This was our first time using laundry service because we were in a pinch. Adel had it ready by the day we needed, he gives great hospitality and is very kind! He even washed the bag we brought our laundry in, cannot recommend anything better in ATX!!!

Came for the washing machines and ended up getting hooked on the wash and fold! Adel made me feel so at ease for my first time trying any wash and fold service and offered the most reasonable price. I’ve been a repeat customer for weeks now and I’m super grateful I’ve found this business to help take a “load” off of my todo list!!

We live in the area and came here during a time when we were having issues with our plumbing. It was conveniently located, with parking, reasonably priced (front loaders were $3 for smaller wash/$4 for larger machine), quick (around 25 min for wash cycles - we didn’t need to use the dryers) and; felt friendly and safe.

I believe that the reviews for this coin laundry are dated, as they do not match with my experience on Jan 30/23. I found the entire facility to be very dirty: all trash cans overflowing, machines streaked with spills and dust, and the linoleum floor filthy. For this reason, I cannot recommend this coin laundry.

What a great find! My giant quilt doesn't fit in my machine at home and I hadn't washed it since before quarantine started...yikes! I finally ventured out to find a place to wash it.
