Carling IDA and Michael Pharmacy are co-owned by the same couple and it always brightens my day see them. Over the years, they've bent over backwards to help me; whether I get there a bit late, or my insurance isn't working, or my doctor messes something up, or I run out of refills... they always help me however they can. They can fill prescriptions in a matter of minutes, administer a last minute vaccine painlessly, and on Sundays when they're closed they just send whatever I need over to the Carling IDA (which they also don't mind doing if I happen to be closer to that location during the week too). With so many large, faceless corporations to have to deal with all the time, it's a joy to find a business run by kind, dedicated people who really care about you and what they do. Michael, Sandy and their staff are just SO lovely to interact with... I don't even know how they manage to remain so friendly and professional while dealing with doctors and patients and administrative staff and the whole healthcare system all day, every day! It's night and day compared to the experiences I've had at Shoppers, Rexall and Jean Coutu. I honestly can't recommend both Michael Pharmacy and Carling IDA enough. <3

5 stars isn’t enough for this pharmacy. They need 25 stars. They are truly the best. I can’t even begin to describe the level of customer service they provide. Need something right now? No problem. Need it delivered? For free? No problem. Need it refilled even tho you have none left? No issue. They are amazing. If you don’t have your prescriptions here already… switch over now.

This is the only compounding pharmacy in the area. When my newborn needed medication mixed for him, Michael was able to do so on the same day and was very helpful in instructing me how to administer the medication. I have since gone back to get my flu vaccine and covid shots. The shots were expertly administered - so much so that I didn't realize he was done!

Rexall Pharmacy up the road closing tomorrow so had my father's prescriptions transferred over. Incredible customer service! Rexall was one thousand-fold better than the Shoppers Drug Mart at Beaconhill Shopping Centre. (Had so many horrible experiences there.) Disappointed Rexall closing but am confident Michael Pharmacy will serve us well.

Michael Pharmacy reminds me of a Pharmacy we used to have years ago near our home. I am so thankful to have found this pharmacy. Michael our pharmacist is caring, compassionate, professional and the services are beyond expectations. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a good pharmacy.

The customer service in this pharmacy is second to none. It's not a Shoppers Drug Mart, so don't expect them to have groceries and housewares and stuff, but as a pharmacy it's amazing. And unlike Shoppers, Michael is a competent pharmacist! Probably the best pharmacy I've used.

I cannot even express how this pharmacy is better than any. They really care about their clients and will go out of their way to be helpful in any possible way. I am very glad I switched to this pharmacy for myself and my children and I will definitely recommend it!

After having a lot of trouble at Shoppers, I called Michael pharmacy to see if they could help me with getting my prescription. Michael was unbelievably kind and had the prescription ready right away. I highly recommend moving your prescriptions here!
