I have been getting birthday cakes from this beautiful bakery in West Vancouver. I live in Burnaby, it took me 50 minutes to get there but it is worth it to drive all the way. They make the best birthday cake ever. The cake is so fluffy, soft and creamy. Not to mention, the service is amazing. They are super friendly and nice. Very reasonable price for the whole cakes, and the taste of cake is great. The reason why i always return this bakery is great quality of cake and breads and wonderful service. Sometimes they can get pretty busy, recommend to reserve the cake if you want to get some popular cakes. Recommend: Mango cake( seasonal), green matcha cake, strawberry cake.

Visited Michele Cake Shop many times for variety of their delicious baked goods and breads. I also purchased the cakes for all of our occasion here, whether a birthday or anniversary and i must say, my wife and i both was always enjoyed it every time. Yesterday i purchased the Mango cake and oh my goodness. It was fresh, delicious, and those freshly cut mango inside... It was sooo good that we both devoured it and there was no time to take a photo of it :) Staffs are super friendly and despite of being always busy, their service and attention is superb. Thank you Went for second time and yet again we were so excited to enjoy it that I forgot to take photo of it at first. Photo is after I hold everyone from taking the rest :) Fresh, and we love the low sugar taste.

My FAVOURITE chestnut cake in Vancouver!! I ordered ahead at @michelecakeshop_ ‘s official website for a 6inch cake. Everything went smoothly with the online order and pickup process. They will offer u a free message written on a chocolate decoration. The chestnut cake is absolutely better than any other bakery location in Vancouver. If you don’t have a big appetite for crazily sweetened dessert, go for it! The cream and chestnut was creamy and smooth. Their cake is not a traditional sponge cake but richer in egg content. Michele's bakery is one of the best go to for yummy buns and cakes in ton! Their buns ar made fresh everyday and provide a great variety. I love love love their mango cake and it's also a must eat when it's in season. The fruit cake, mango mousse, chocolate mousse, tiramisu are all super good. They take pride in the quality and freshness of their cake, I love getting them for my friend's birthday because it never disappoints! My recommendation is to always order ahead of time as they get insanely busy. They are cash only but there are many banks near by.

Went there today to get some bread and cake but the line up was awful. They shall ask customers to line up instead. Also, bad attitude when serving too. They just leave you while asking what you would like coz of other’s interruption. Mango cake is not bad but doesn’t worth $5.5 / slice and it really makes me wordless when they put the cake inside a paper bag instead of a paper box or paper container. Feels very cheap and unprofessional, by the time the cake got home, it’s no long a slice of cake but like mashed mango cake. Will never go back again.

We ordered a $50 chocolate birthday cake that ended up being 60% cream. The cake layers were so thin and uneven that they were probably made from the tops of discarded cake trimmings. The sponge cake layers were dry as well, and overall the chocolate flavor was weak. What a rip off. Update: Thought I'd give their cakes another try and this time I almost chipped a tooth on a cherry pit they didn't bother to remove. This would've been a choking hazard for toddlers or the elderly.

Cakes are good! Not too sweet and affordable. The breads and buns are good too. The only that thing that they should improve is the delivery notification. It's a hit or miss. Sometimes they will call or send a message when they're on their way to deliver your order and when they actually delivered it to your place. But I also experience just getting a mail notifying my delivery for my preferred time then nothing follows after.

Their cakes are not too sweet, but they are very delicious and you won’t feel too guilty after eating them. And there is a free cake delivery service, which is very convenient. Will definitely get it again.

If you like to eat lots of cream, this mango cake is for you. They used a lot of cream as fillers and I don't know what's the purpose of adding a cream ring round the base. Such a waste! Best to justify the cost by adding fewer cream. There are lots of bakery that sells fresh mango cake, don't need to purposely drive to this bakery

The people are friendly, the desserts I had in general can be rated good. Portuguese tarts - good, coco cream bun - great, pork floss - average, not a lot of filling, sponge cake - good, not too sweet, sesame bun - average. I will go back again if in the area for the coco cream bun and might try their other goodies.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and it has never disappointed me. I love all their buns, the white bread, and mango cake. I recently did a side by side comparison with the other bakery on 41st and Michele’s is hands down, without question, a far superior bakery.

Omg, I had some pasties from Michelle cake shop when I was in Vancouver. My daughter lives so close and she is lucky to have Michelle cake shop/

Mango Mousse Cake Vanilla Fruit Salad

Professional and a sensible cake shop! Their popular chestnut cake and the cream was not overly sweet, good amount of chestnut filling, and soft sponge. Other baked goods and the mango cake looked good as well. Worth a try!

The fresh mango cake is so popular, which needs to be ordered in advance. So I take matcha cake at the end and it is also delicious, the cream is smooth and the flavor is tasty.

Excellent service, fresh selection of cakes and fruit. Delicate, light, not overly sugary, good quality chocolate garnishes.

Reasonably priced and quick turnaround. I always order cakes for birthdays here. Their fruit cakes are consistently good.

Good baked goods, very value for money. There is supposed to be a queue in the morning. Many buns to choose from.
