When will the 4.5 star rating be possible on Maps? We may never know. This has extremely crappy directions from the 101- we eventually turned off Maps and got there on our own. But once we got to the parking lot and inside we were extremely happy we got there. We were welcomed at the door by the maitre d, Brad, who seated us at a nicely lit table with white tablecloth and silverware setting. We ordered a bottle of Malbec wine and Brad poured it beautifully- the wine was a nice bottle and very good. We ordered our entrees and then enjoyed some warm bread and a house salad. Both were wonderful. Only complaint for spouse was no parmesan on the table to have oil (which was present on table) and cheese with the bread. Entrees arrived and we enjoyed them fully. Wife had Linguine in Clam sauce which she loved. Her only complaint was there were no open clams on the plate with the serving but she stated there were clams aplenty in the dish and the taste was superb. She was very pleased with the taste and serving size (she brought about 1/3 home). I had Veal Marsala which was served with a small side of tomato sauce pasta. The veal was pounded thin and cooked perfectly- it was easy to cut, flavorful, sauce was perfect and mushrooms were also perfect. The pasta side was an excellent complementary dish to the veal and was also perfectly cooked. I finished my plate eagerly and sucked up some sauce with some of the bread at the end. We both were extremely pleased with these outstanding entrees. We finished our meal with a piece of white chocolate cheesecake (awesome!) and a piece of tiramisu (also awesome!). We were treated to an after dinner aperitif with a nice minty flavor before dessert arrived which we sipped slowly and finally finished after dessert. Wonderful touch by the staff. Check for all including the bottle of Malbec (we took about 1/3 home with us which was nice) was under $100- this was a wonderful meal both in taste and service. Brad and staff should be commended for their friendly and attentive service and a superb meal experience both in taste and a welcoming attitude. Definitely a restaurant that we will return to.

Where do I begin? Wow! What an incredible night and experience for an anniversary dinner for me and my boyfriend! It was my first time trying escargot and that was fantastic. I had their veal marsala as my main course, and I am so glad that I recently started liking mushrooms, so that I could experience that! The meat was so tender, and it also came with a side of linguini and red sauce. For dessert I had the spumoni dipped in dark chocolate, which was certainly a treat, and they also served an after dinner drink. Also Joe was very attentive and explained the menu well for us first timers, and he even told us a couple stories. One thing to note, is that I guess they do not take Yelp reservations, although I was directed to Yelp to make reservations from their website? I would recommend maybe calling instead. Luckily, we were still able to be seated rather quickly despite that hiccup. Thanks all! :)

I Visited my family about a month ago from nj my sis who lives out there recommended this place. Being from NJ where Italian food is expected I wasn’t sure how this place would be But after the first course of food I was impressed by this place. The staff was very friendly and on top of everything, the Food was excellent as well as decent size portions , if I’m ever visiting in Arizona again this place will be on my stops .

The ambiance of Michelina's is wonderful. The moment you walk in you get a beautiful waft of the fresh floral arrangements and a few moments later you smell the amazing Italian food. The menu has a wonderful variety of pasta, chicken, salad and specials. They have a bottle wine list. The wine by the glass is limited but good. The service was good. They were super busy but still made time to get what you needed. Not too needy and very helpful staff. The gentleman who waited on us was very sweet and knowledgeable. His family owns the place. It was neat hearing a bit of the family history. I had the shells stuffed with spinach and ricotta. Sampled the cheese ravioli and my uncle loved the halibut special. All and all everything was delicious. Prices were decent. We will be back! Thank you.

Michelina’s has been serving amazing Italian food for over 35:years in the same location. This is a testament to its ambiance and quality cuisine. Pictured is their piccata. On the menu it’s veal, but they graciously substituted chicken for me. It was fabulous. The pork special was tender, flavorful and substantial. Prices are reasonable, even though it feels more higher end with its white linen tablecloths and black napkins. The wine list has both American and European selections. Great for family celebration or romantic dinner for two. We were able to get in at 5, but the wait was long later when we left.

Been coming here for over 25 years. Ordered chicken casprese the with white wine sauce and capers. It was extremely bitter and inedible. Returned it for the chicken tortellini. Pesto was the worst and was not even recognizable as a pesto sauce. Had some weird bitter herb taste. Took one bite of chicken and tortellini and was done. On a plus side, my wife was full after eating half of her cannelloni, which was delicious. I usually order that but wanted to try something new. At least that is one dish that is consistent. It saved me a trip to Habit Burger or Taco Bell on the way home.

Finally, authentic Italian. Old school. Excellent service, tasty food, simple but very nice and clean presentation. As a culinary arts instructor at the high school level, it is what I teach my students. The only criticism I have is the tables are very close to each other. Sometimes felt like we were sharing our meal and experience with other people. Excellent ambiance, fresh flowers give it an authentic aroma. Our waiter, Joe, was very professional and caring. He knows the menu, describing the specials as if he had prepared them before. Definitely a return visit is necessary!

This restaurant was an absolute surprise. Here for a visit with family and randomly decided to try and let me tell you, when I say it is some of the most delicious traditional Italian food I have ever sampled, I mean every word. Every bit of the atmosphere, food, service, and charm was top notch. Even greeted and checked in on by Michelina herself post meal which made the experience that much more personal. I will be telling everyone I know, if you’re ever in the area, this is a must stop for Italian dining at its finest. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Cheers

The first time we ate here it was amazing. We were so impressed, we went back a few weeks later. My meal was great, but my husband ordered the pork chop special, and it was awful. It was so dry, I could tell by his face after the first bite. He offered me a bite, and I did not want anymore. We usually share our meals, but he was on his own for that one. On my worst day in the kitchen, I have never served something that dry.

This place was recommended to me, and let me say that you HAVE TO come to this Italian restaurant. This is some of the best Italian food I ever had. The food was amazing, I got the Spinach Ravioli. I also got the Chocolate Musse Pie as dessert The interior of Michelina’s is very welcoming. I love the photos of Italy. The customer service, they went above and beyond. They are very attentive, and super friendly. You HAVE TO stop by here. I overheard that you might have to make reservations during COVID-19, probably during peak hours (7pm on a Saturday)

I would give Michelina's 10 Stars! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is terrific, and the service was wonderful. The only con is the short staircase going down to the main dining room. I'm not sure how one would maneuver a wheelchair down there, but that was not a problem for our party. The decor is very Italian and old world, which I loved. The food was divine. There is also plenty of parking. I highly recommend Michelina's for any occasion!

Stumbled upon this restaurant because we were in the neighborhood. So terrific and fresh. Our waiter, the son of the owner was refreshingly accommodating which is unusual these days. Plenty of food to share one meal. The BREAD…. Yes the BREAD …was the best bread we have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Hope to go again soon.

I have been wanting to try this Italian restaurant for a while as hear good things. The comments were dead on. Quick to seat you & attentive servers. It was slow the night we were there but they work to make you feel wanted. Had calamari with was light with great sauce. Very tasty. I had chicken marsala which was excellent. Everyone had different dishes and all were please with taste and quality of food. Recommend if you're looking for good Italian.

The place was charming and the service was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. My son had hand made Ravioli which were huge and obviously made with love. I had wild Salmon and it was hands down the best I've ever had. We also had dessert, the custard...oh my, heaven! I also really loved the after dinner drink. Wonderful meal and experience. Our CC server was Michelina’s son Joe who was wonderfully attentive and suggested a terrific wine to enhance our tasting experience. Old world Italian cuisine that was as wonderful as my mother-in-law’s. We will certainly add this restaurant to our favorites list. By the way my wife’s name is Michelina and she cooks marvelous as well.

Took 30 minutes to take our orders and over 30 to get our food out. We got that fettuccine Alfredo and meat and cheese ravioli. The fettuccine Alfredo tasted like $5 Mac and cheese and the ravioli was dry. The bread was good though.

We came here to celebrate a few birthdays. None of us had been here before; we just chose it based on reviews. Everyone loved the food. The service was good. Dessert was good. I'll probably go back. My only suggestion for improvement is to drain the pasta a little better. My eggplant and pasta came out with a lot of pasta water.

Of the several times we have dined at Michelina's, every plate has been a joy of real food succinctly seasoned. I cannot adequately express how wonderful every serving has been. Gave this restaurant a wonderful attempt because the food was bland the 1st time around. 2nd time was worse. Fettuccine Alfredo had no taste...how is that even possible?
