Employee/ owner that is almost always there is so sweet! Might be a bit more expensive than some convenience/ grocery stores, but it’s worth it for being able to walk to from your apartment! Great selection, and once again, incredible customer service. I go here at a minimum of 2 times per week, and I will continue to come back simply to support the man who is working. It breaks my heart to see bad reviews simply because the prices are "too high". If you want cheaper prices, get in your car and drive to the nearest grocery store. If you want to support a small business with a good selection of alcohol, food, and candy, this is the place to go!
They close at 12, however I walked up to grab a bottle of wine at 11:47 & they literally closed the gate in my face. I said “you guys don’t close til 12!” He yelled “we have to be closed by 12!” HUH!? Well then change the close time to 11:30, because that was TERRIBLE customer service! Keep that in mind if you ever decide to go here, they are rude & close early!
I just paid 35 dollars for 2 items! Foil paper and margarita mix. In what world ? Not even with inflation and prices going up is that economical. It is Thanks giving so they are LUCKY they got my money, otherwise I would have laughed and walked out. Mind you I live in this area and I ALWAYS avoid this place at all cost because they up charge way too high.
There are no prices anywhere in the store. When I asked why he stayed they change every 15 days. Up to you if you want to shop here but places that don’t have any prices are looking to charge what they want and some people will just pay because it’s convenient. If you are the owner of this - consider changing this and we will be back and good customers
Last time i was here, about a week ago, I attempted to purchase a 20oz mt dew, and a pack of cigarettes. The cashier steps to the side register and tells me its 14 and change. I stop and ask how. He claims the drink is 2 and change, and cigarettes are 8 in change, which still does not add up to $14. They are theives.
They will overcharge you and smile! Not all items display a price. Charged double for a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream Clearly displayed $4.77 on their register but he was quick to clear the screen and charge $9.54 What a shame!!
Just bought a 12 pack of white claw ($22) and a 6 pack of beer. My total was $40. Will not recommend to anybody. 2 stars for variety. ** edit walked in to see to last weekend to buy white claw again and the price moved to $28.
First time I went I paid 14$ for a small bag of nerds gummy clusters wen today and paid 8$ for a large glass bottle of Pepsi, a packet of Twinkies, and a packet of powdered donuts I got scammed obviously the first time
I Always come here but this is the second time it says they are open online and I walk from my apartment and they ARE NOT … I suggest changing your open time from 8 am if you won’t be there .
Don't go here. They charge $4-8 more than any grocery store. It's convenient if you live in the area, but not worth it.
Good convenience store with specialty items, located right in the middle of the night life area in Midtown
Very overpriced, paid $8 for butter and 8oz of cheese!!! And you can’t use your card unless it $5 or more
Don’t come to this place ever! They over charge for literally everything! Food is old and expired.
Awsome place with great customer service with lots of varieties of wines... …
Great spot, solid selection, prices are fair for the area
nice food store . and best quality food in this store.
