It's really a small little store with a great selection. The cashiers have always been respectful and kind to me. This is the kind of place where they do know they have seen you before after a few times, which is nice. They aren't going to have everything you want if you're into something fancy, but you likely aren't going there for that. They surely get a lot of traffic from the Kansas side of state line because they are so close and due to how the laws are, and I think they know that. So, just be kind and respectful of their property and space, and you'll never feel unwelcome there.

Wondering who takes the time to write reviews for a liquor store? Anyone who’s had the pleasure of working with Mike’s Liquor for their wedding. Their team is AMAZING. The open bar was the easiest part of the entire wedding. Their team is responsive, easy to work with, and gives you a great deal. We even added on our rehearsal dinner alcohol at the last minute - and they came through for us. Andy and Kylie are truly the best. Can’t recommend them enough!

I was checked out by an older gentleman who was rude. I was inquiring about a local beer with interest. He quickly and rudely cut me off without answering my question and simply just said "ok." I REALLY enjoy the new Mike's. Its clean, the selection on all things is great, and they actually had two things I've been looking for that Tipsy's does not, its just too bad their clerks aren't friendly or knowledgeable about their inventory.

Went here looking for something unique, a special type of sour beer. After wandering around for 20 minutes, multiple employees walked past me without offering assistance or even acknowledging me. After getting help, I found what I wanted. Unfortunately the Gooseberry Gose I bought had gone bad (I didn't realize it was bottled in 2017). Not a good experience for a $18 4-pack of spoiled beer.

Amazing place through and through. The staff was kinda busy when i showed up they were working on stocking shelves but they took the time to help me find what i needed. They helped explain questions i had and even made suggestions. Also if you love dogs there is a hecking good boi who seems to roam the store hes extremely friendly. Will suggest this place to all my friends.

I originally had a negative experience here, but the owner reached out and was not only understanding but also helped me find what I was looking for. Chalking it up to someone having a bad day... otherwise, they have a great beer and bourbon selection. And they do give an industry discount which is nice for any service industry workers (bring your liquor card). Cheers!

We used Mike's to cater our wedding alcohol and I can't recommend them enough. Andy was a joy to work with, and made everything super easy from start to finish. They delivered our alcohol to our venue and picked up whatever was unopened (free of charge!) so we only had to pay for what we used and we could order anything we wanted to have there. It was incredible!

Solid experience at Mike’s Wine and Spirits in Westport. This store is awesome! Fun place with great attitude. Selection is diverse for anyone’s taste. You like craft beer? Excellent customer service, the kind every liquor store should strive for. The place is top notch. So good I am writing this review from the parking lot. Purchased a bottle of Russells bourbon had a sincere question about the pricing and the cashier accommodated. Would drive past five liquor stores to go to this place again. Clearly, it’s highly recommended.

Been coming here since I moved close by 3 years ago. They are friendly, helpful, well-stocked and have a new store across from their old one that is very nice! They keep my favorites in stock and chilled and remember me (one by my name every time!). The staff are terrific and my favorite thing there is that Ramen is usually there. Love that dog so much!!

Went to find a specific kind of sake. The staff there was very helpful and knowledgeable. Though they did not have the kind I wanted, they had good alternative recommendations and also put the one I looked for down to check if they could add it and start carrying it. The variety of drinks they carry is great too. Had a good experience here.

Great store. Went in for the first time the other day and the guys were super nice. So many times nobody even looks up from behind the counter in these places. These guys were extremely knowledgeable about their products, and even gave me a sample -- which resulted in a sale. I plan to be a customer here moving forward. Great job, guys.

BEWARE: prices on receipt did not match prices on shelf. Two different bottles rang up regular price, instead of sale price on shelf. A mistake on two different bottles? Good selection of French, Italian and American wines. Super small selection of German. Prices on the 50 bottles I checked were slightly higher than national averages.

Their store is beautiful, clean, and has a great selection. They also have an amazing team! We worked with them when purchasing alcohol for our wedding. Andy was able to offer us recommendations, and their pricing was reasonable. I would definitely recommend if you ever need to purchase spirits for a large event!

Mike has what it takes to be in Sparkle Motion. They have beer, so many choices. They have spirits, again with all the choices. They probably have wine, bitters, kegs, party balls, soda and lounge music, but i found the whiskey. Prices were on point, serviced with a smile and all is well in boozehound town

Great selection, awesome people. This store does a lot of community outreach and as such puts them in the top of my short list of favorites. I love their beer selection, they keep a lot of good whiskeys in stock, and a good local selection. I have yet to delve into the wine, but they certainly have a lot!!

This store has the best staff. Also, they have both competitive prices, if not better prices on everything that they sell. I constantly send people to Mike’s. It’s the best bang for your buck, and certainly has the best variety of options. Overall, the best in our area.

Very convenient due to location near midtown Kansas City Hotels. If you're at your hotel in Westport Kansas City and feel like walking a short distance this place is by far the easiest to find, with helpful staff, and with the best prices in town.

My go to liquor store in westport. Open late and considering the small size of the place they keep a great rotating selection of beers and whiskeys. Now they have beers on tap as well and you can get growlers to go!

Mike's Wine & Spirits has an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. I have been buying fine wine from them for many years. Check out their selection of Pinot Noir wines from California, Oregon and France.

This is my go to place. Prices are reasonable especially on hard alcohol. They have tastings often and recently started doing growler fills. Not the best liquor store in kc but they get the job done.
