That place is amazing, lots of military equipment from different conflicts but what really made it interesting was the presence of a restored Hanomag halftrack bearing the divisional emblem of Grossdeutschland. This particular halftrack was made post WWII and used in Eastern Europe, however it is nearly identical to the ones from WWII.

We've been planning on going here for weeks, we drove 2 hours from Silsbee to Houston just to see this museum. Whenever we drove up to the museum we were greeted with the bad news that the museum was closed. The website and the Google page both say they were open today. It is safe to say, we aren't coming back here again. More

When I saw this place I thought that it wouldn't be a very good idea, but boy was I wrong. It was quite interesting to say the least. The young man that took us around was very friendly and informative. Vehicles there are in different stages of restoration from needing major restoration to completely restored and operating.

Very disapointed. On Google, the museum is supposed to open at 8 am. I really wanted to visit that museum but it was closed when I arrived at 8am. I found out that it opens at 10am instead of 8am. Clearly the business owner is lazy and can't even update the opening hours on google (takes 2min max). More

When you call and look online it says Saturday hours are 8am-6pm. Drove 45 minutes to take my kids and it's 10:45 am and everything is locked up including the front gate. Definitely a big let down for the kids. If you are closed on Saturdays please update your hours/days before more kids get let down.

Not free! Went on a rainy day, and was told that it was guided tour only. Ok, fine. Got an older man who smelled of alcohol, was short on patience with the kids and constantly ranted about how great Trump was. We were very, very disappointed. Will NOT go again. What a waste of time and money. More

Can't do a proper review. I'll update my review if we ever get back. But we arrived at 3pm on Saturday in hours and the gate was locked. 1hr drive. Hope to try again, just wanted to post. But my kids liked seeing the vehicles through the gate. More

Came here in march during a visit with family. Really fascinating artifacts, uniforms and weapons. The shed at the back (more like a warehouse) had some fascinating vehicles on display (it was like an aladin's cave of vehicles I've not seen

Awesome little museum! And staffed by great people too. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and was surprised how big the museum is! The photos online just simply don't do it justice! The front rooms are super interesting but when you go out into

They don't allow visitors to simply enjoy the sights on their own. You have to stay with the guided tour and listen to the guide talk for long periods of time about select items in the museum. Tour guide we had was nice, but there are some

What started as an idea to kill some time turned into one of my favorite experiences in the Houston area. The tour guide, Holmes (sp?) was informative, shared personal experiences and made civilians feel involved. The place is more robust

The $10 ticket is an actually 100% guided tour. They have hardwares that are for you to get a very close look, some are even in running conditions. From AKs to ww2 halftracks to little bird choppers, there's a wide range of collection. If

Fantastic collection of rare militaria. At first I was a little bummed out they don't just let you walk around unsupervised and look at stuff, but once I realized it was a working restoration shop/how much rare and valuable stuff they had

Drove over an hour to see this museum. Showed up 40 minutes after the place was supposed to open and the gate was closed. Google maps, their website, and even the sign on the door said they were open. Called multiple times with no answer

This was my 17 year old history buffs choice on our vacation. The tour guide was awesome and I know this was an experience my boys will never forget. We called the number on the door and had a response in minutes. What an experience! More

Lots of military vehicles to view (including rare finds). However, make sure you call and schedule an appointment. I may have not looked at their website thoroughly but I don’t recall ever seeing the need to schedule an appointment for a

Lots to see. It's starts out in an un air conditioned building. They do check on you through out the tour since the Temps are up and offer water. Towards the end is a/c just be prepared. Tour guide we had was very informative. You might

Great artifacts. Extensive collection. Plenty of parking. Tour guide was having a hard day and wasn't able to check his personal stuff. He apologized, but it left us wishing we had a different experience in this fascinating place

I would give it a 5 instead of a 4 but sadly when I went it was raining and neither the guy giving the tour or the other people on the tour wanted to go out in the rain to look at the other vehicles that were outside. More

My family of 6 drove an hour on Sunday and arrived at 11am! Their website, answering service and the sign in the window said Open. If you call and a human doesn't pick up then they are closed. I hope they step on a Lego.

We have had this one on our list for months and finally made it today. Jersey is the best tour guide. So impressive that they have so many vehicles and displays. This is a hidden gem. Easy to get to and well run. More

Great museum with lots of exhibits to admire and great tour guides. Plus it's close to many other East Houston attractions. Make a day out of it go here then the Port of Houston tour then the Washburn Tunnel. More

Great man who gave us a tour, very informative interesting and honestly the best tour I have ever had. 100% recommend, inexpensive as well. Oh did I mention, hundreds of military vehicles and helicopters?

Very friendly guides and awesome vehicles and antiques. It may not look awesome on the outside of the building but it was worth the go. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

It was amazing, I loved it so much! Wasting 70 dollars was worth it. I also loved that there were employees that would explain and answer you're questions. 1000/10.

Cool place with lots of vehicles. Staff is very knowledgeable. But it is a guided tour so not great for little kids with ants in their pants.
