The best dental experience I've ever had. My biggest regret is not coming here sooner. I hadn't seen a dentist in several years due to a combination of having no dental insurance and having a terrible experience with other dental clinics in the past. Smiles was able to book me in immediately for an exam and always made sure I understood what the next steps were. All of the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, I've never felt so at ease at a dental office until coming here. Dr. Salwan is very patient and clear with what the treatment plan I'll need to undergo to improve my dental health. The dental hygienist I had, Michael, really made sure I understood what was happening with my teeth and gums and how I can also better care for them long term. I went in feeling absolutely anxious and terrified but after each appointment I've left feeling more confident and relaxed. I cannot praise the amount of compassion and quality of service at this clinic enough.

I was supper nervous coming in today as I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years, the front desk was amazing, supper friendly and very helpful with answering all my questions before my appointment. They were able to give accurate quotes for my services which was a huge help and I felt like there was no surprises. Michael was absolutely a pleasure to be with today, he is very knowledgeable and was able to help ease my anxiety during the whole visit by being very honest and transparent with what he was doing and what steps were next. The dentist was able to give me a clear action plan for my upcoming treatment, and was able to make me feel confident and comfortable with the next steps we will have to take. As there is a huge stigma that going to the dentist always sucks and is the worst doctors visit on the planet, I can say my visit today definitely proved that wrong. Keep up the amazing work

I can’t speak highly enough of this place it was a happy accident and I stumbled across them when I broke a front tooth a few months ago but today I had just the best experience The hygienist Raj is just really great at his job it’s the first time in my life I didn’t need freezing for a cleaning, it was basically painless, he did my nine year olds earlier on in the day and my son usually needs laughing gas and he left with a smile (a super clean one ) ! His chair side manner is also amazing and he really listened to my concerns and did his best to keep the costs reasonable (Which by the way the whole clinic is really great at doing also) Would recommend this place to anybody with dental anxiety for both themselves and their kids the receptionists the assistants the dentist and especially the hygienist Raj are all amazing 10/10

Best dental experience ever! I had a tooth extracted today and left feeling incredible. I was cared for from the moment I walked in the door. (Whomever is responsible for hiring people here deserves a raise because absolutely everyone was lovely, friendly and accommodating.) I don’t have insurance and without asking, they were very forthcoming with every expense. It made me feel so comfortable and informed, without any embarrassment of sticker shock of a big bill. Also, on the topic of cost, this was an emergency appointment and it was half the cost of what I had feared. They offered me choices and allowed me so much time to ask questions. I’ve never had a dental experience so positive in my whole life. Will be coming back for my future dental needs for sure!

Everyone I have encountered here at the Millwoods location has been exceptional. 1st time - xrays were fast and painless thanks to Rick and my dental hygienist - Raj was so caring and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. This visit - a different dental assistant was just as friendly and super nice. Can't say enough on how awesome Dr. Salam has been on both visits. They explain everything they plan to do and while doing it. Very gentle caring, professional and friendly. Even the two females working at the front are amazing and awesome. I visited Smiles Dental Milwoods located at 23rd St. Meadows Marketplace for dental cleaning on June 16th at 12 pm. A very smart young guy named Raj Deep Singh Gill, Dental Hygienist worked on my teeth. He did the job above my expectations. Besides being humble and soft spoken he is a perfectionist and master of his job. I don't remember I had ever been to such a efficient hygienist till date He did the job well in time, to my entire satisfaction and without a hint of discomfort. I wish him all the success in his future life and may God bless him with more accomplishments and expertise. Raj is really an valuable asset for the SMILES DENTAL GROUP Edmonton.

I arrived for an emergency dental need! I was taken in right away and was treated to the least stressful molar extraction that I’ve ever experienced! I was treated professionally, kindly and in such a timely manner! I was truly in awe of the exceptional service I experienced! Being put at ease during such a stressful condition was a delight and made the experience go quickly and very smoothly! Everyone is so nice and friendly the dentist is amazing! Went in with massive tooth pain with my wisdom tooth and he gave me numbing to help the pain in my face, he gives you so many options and works with you and if you’re scared or nervous he will be patient with you. Honestly haven’t been to a dentist this nice in a very long time and I’m more than pleased with this dentist! I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone who’s scared or nervous or just don’t like dentist at all. Two massive thumbs up

I have been going here for the past few years! The doctors here are amazing. The dental hygienist is the best. He is very caring and gives you solid advice on what would help your teeth more. I had a filling that needed to be done when I had braces and they coordinated with the staff at the other clinic to get it figured out so I am not in too much pain for long. And lastly the receptionist (specially Elaine) are amazing, friendly they know there stuff! overall I would recommend this place.

Went in a couple weeks ago to get my wisdom tooth looked at, it broke while eating lunch. Told them I needed to be sedated as I have bad dental anxiety. Fast forward about a week or so later and the Secord location canceled my sedation appointment on me. I called the millwoods location back to try and rush me In cuz the pain was so bad it hurt to talk. Without being sedated they were able to keep me calm and happy while extracting my wisdom tooth. They did a great job! Thank you.

No one likes going to the dentist but smiles makes it as enjoyable as it can be with their exceptional staff members. The ladies in the front explain the very complicated insurance process and what you will be paying before you even see the dentist. The dentist, the dental assistants and the hygienist are friendly, professional and most importantly focused on doing great work while maintaining comfort and care level that is unmatched. 10/10 recommend using smiles!

I had a great experience at Millwoods Smiles. Raj completed my cleaning and he provided lots of helpful information, is personable and completed the most gentle cleaning I’ve ever had. The ladies at reception were incredibly friendly and transparent with pricing and treatment plans. They worked with me to develop a treatment plan that maximized the usage of my benefits so I would pay the least out of pocket possible.

After a 25 year hiatus from dentists, my first (emergency) visit was here at Millwoods Smiles Dental Group last summer. I'm a HUGE Chicken & get horrible anxiety when it comes to visiting a Dentist. It all stemmed from a horrible dentist visit that left me in pain many years prior. Luckily I found Smile Dental Group. All the staff there are friendly and very helpful. I was quite nervous for my tooth extraction & Dr, Salwan was incredible with me. Thank you for making a terrifying experience a bearable one. Best doctors.,,hygienist..and knowledgeable staff in the town.. They are always willing to answer all your queries. They have multilingual (punjabi,hindi,arab,ukrainian,philipino)staff-makes things easier for people with language barriers. Everyone keep checking with you "you okay??"throughout hygiene and filling appointments. Makes you feel taken care of.....that too in the best of your budget.

Exceptional service! I went to the Millwoods location on an emergency basis and they got me in a couple hours later ON A SUNDAY! Their prices are crazy good compared to everyone else. Everyone was SO nice! Danielle and Elaine at the front are ROCKSTARS!!! I will probably be making this office my new "home". Would definitely recommend!

This was my first dental visit since I moved to Canada. The bar has been set really high by this clinic everyone was very accomodating and helpful. Amazing staff, everyone is so friendly. The dentist and his assistant that I’ve seen twice are constantly checking in with me to make sure I’m handling everything alright. They explain everything they’re doing so nothing is a surprise. I don’t live in Edmonton but will be definitely making the trip to the city for now on.

My first time getting a 3D image scan of my entire jaw and teeth with their fancy iTero Element machine. The office staff are super professional and friendly. Dr. Salwan is excellent in his examination. And Mike the Hygienist is extra thorough with cleaning and ultra professional in his demeanor. My teeth feel great!
