I took my 47 year old heart shaped ring into Millennium Jewellers in Burlington to see if it could be repaired or remade to surprise my daughter for her 30th birthday. Rafael was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! He took the time to listen to my story about my ring and understood the sentimental value of it, after many conversations I decided to have it remade. Rafael assured me the ring would look the same just beefed up a little so it would last forever! Rafael really came through on his promise, the ring is absolutely beautiful!!! My daughter was so touched and thrilled when she received it! Not only does Rafael repair things he custom makes things. His craftsmanship is amazing! My 1st purchase from Millennium Jewellers was when they were located in Hamilton on Ottawa Street.. I saw Raphael on CHCH tv 11....he was showing a Sapphire antique ring.. I immediately called him and went down to look at it.. It was perfect and Raphael explained all the history etc.. Needless to say I left with it... I have since purchased several pieces and have followed them to Burlington... Alba is a doll.. Always responds right away and is so kind.. I am most grateful to Rafael at @millenium_jewellers_gold for taking the time to speak with me and collaborate to create a unique and stunning piece. He repurposed two rings I had from years ago to create a heart for each son with their birthstones and a hidden initial on each and a rose gold heart in the middle to represent me. Rafael put a new Centre stone in my original engagement ring. It was a large intricate modification and he did an absolutely gorgeous job on it, looks like the ring was made for this stone which was almost twice as big, very skilled craftsmanship. Not only that, I needed it for a function on Sunday and he did it for me in 3 days!!! (not 6 weeks like I’d been told at some of the “big” stores.). This is a great place to go, whether you need jewelry resized, repaired, or are looking for a new/vintage piece. The owners are very knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and very friendly! I've been a repeat customer for several years now. I always appreciate their honest opinions and support when choosing a new piece or getting one resized. They do repairs on the spot and are always quick and fairly priced. Their lovely dog Coco is also another reason to visit - the sweetest boy! Came up with the perfect replacement for a lost diamond in an engagement ring, and changed the setting to my complete satisfaction within one day. I have known Raphael and his work for 20 plus years! I have purchased from his estate jewelry collection, including pearls, blue sapphires and a vintage watch. He helped me design and then made a gorgeous diamond ring using a few different pieces I had acquired. He is the only jeweler I trust!
