"THEY BASICALLY HELD ME HOSTAGE FOR 40 MINUTES"
"Drove to Bristol for the first time and after doing some research, this car park was closest to the Aquarium"
"Convenient - used for access to the aquarium"
"Fine if you drive a Nissan Micra but if you have anything larger or especially if you have low profile alloys don't set foot in here unless you want your alloys wrecked"
"HAD MY WING MIRRORS SMASHED IN"
THEY BASICALLY HELD ME HOSTAGE FOR 40 MINUTES. Parked there for a meeting, arrived at 9.40am. No spaces when I reached the barrier, so unlike every other car park I've ever been to where you can still enter and then leave again if there are no spaces, they refuse to let you budge until other cars leave. And it's not a one in, one out rule either - you have to wait for 3 cars to leave before you can go in...The third car finally left at 10.20, by which time I was 20 minutes late for the meeting I was supposed to be chairing. I pressed the buzzer twice and the attendant just sing-songed the same explanation that he must have to repeat 100 times a day - you can't move, you can't turn around and you can't leave. I can't describe how incredibly frustrating it was. Will never park here again.
Drove to Bristol for the first time and after doing some research, this car park was closest to the Aquarium. After our day out, I then went to leave with my ticket which wouldn't work on the machine, went to talk to the lovely man at the office and he said told me what to do next. After a bit of a run around I didn't manage to sort the ticket, I was getting quite anxious with the other drivers behind beeping but not moving for me to move out the way. Went back to the office and the gentleman there had a bit of a joke with me making me feel at ease, he opened the barrier for me and let me leave without having to pay. I just want to say what a delightful being you are and thank you for giving me hope there are good people out there. P.s, sorry about the curb
Convenient - used for access to the aquarium. Usual business of somewhat worn elevators ..faint smell of urine however that's more a statement of how locals treat the place. Felt a safe place to park. Security present and though I didnt see any patrols, I wasn't concerned as the place wasn't too busy and there was some foot traffic. Pandemic may have skewered perception somewhat. Bristol prices for parking. I'm not sure it would be justified elsewhere but the market isn't overly competitive in the area so of the lot, I'd reccomend it.
Fine if you drive a Nissan Micra but if you have anything larger or especially if you have low profile alloys don't set foot in here unless you want your alloys wrecked. One of those ridiculous car parks with incredibly tight turns and totally unnecessary kerbs jutting out everywhere. Almost impossible to get through it without taking chunks out of your wheels. Also most parking spaces have massive round pillars so even if you can drive into the place parking up is a nightmare. Strictly for tiny city cars only - be warned.
HAD MY WING MIRRORS SMASHED IN. This also happened to 4/5 other cars on the same night. This is NOT a secure Car park and you should remove that word from the description if you can just allow any random member of the public to just stroll in at any time. Why not have a system that only allows ticket holders to enter electronically via a barcode on the ticket or by entering the registration at the entrance. By eliminating the access to anybody off the street this would guarantee a safe place to park. Very frustrating.
This car park is very conveniently located for Millenium Square and Bristol Aquarium. It is only good for motorbikes or tiny little cars. The entrance and exit of the car park is so narrow and dangerously curved that you will be lucky if you did not damage your car. I survived the entry by going very slow as it was straight. I ended up scrapping my alloys on exit despite being very careful and slow. It was very narrow, curved, out of view with high curb sides. I would not use this car park again.
During harboureside festival we had a birthday to go to locally. My disabled mum came and so this was the closest parking for her. Sunday 6pm for 2 hours 27mins £9 parking and no discount for disabled Learnt our lesson. Would never use again. Extortionate parking price. Even being local would next time take the wheelchair. And did not accept cash so forced to use a card. And never gave us our recipt we asked for.
Nice well lit car park that's very near to the water side. It was a little tricky to find (there's a couple of other car parks very near by) but once parked it brings you out into the heart of millennium square where there's lots of entertainment and food venues. Good place for exploring the harbour and that part of Bristol though a bit of a walk from the city centre itself if you're just after shopping.
Currently undergoing renovation, previously suffered from flooding. Parking prices were previously somewhat steep. Great location and very well lit, great for access to the waterfront restaurants and child-friendly museums. Car charger located on level 1 in the green area, turn immediately left after the first ramp and head towards the end. The chargers are located after the payment machine.
Be aware that if is car park is full they don't let any cars in until at least 3 have exited. I was stuck at the barrier with a queue of cars behind me for half an hour and was subsequently late for an appointment. On calling the assistance I was told that I couldn't enter and immediately exit and would have to wait. Very frustrating. Also it is really quite expensive.
Excellent carpark that is open 24 hours good sized parking bays and very well lit and marked out. All the posts have a rubber band which we think is to avoid scuffs which is a nice touch. Not sure of the pricing in comparison with other carparks in the city, but we considered it good value for money and felt confident it was a safe environment.
We lost our ticket on our 1 hour visit and called for help on the ticket machine then got spoken to like a child down the phone and they came down and gave us a 6 hour visit ticket we went up to the office and said we’re not paying for that they then gave us a 2 hour one after they said they couldn’t definitely not recommend.
Good clean parking facility with pricing which, whilst its still quite expensive, is better than some of the neighbouring car parks. That said if you are looking for a central parking space then you cannot get more central to be honest. Parking is well lighted and nicely laid out with better than average parking spaces.
Great location and a secure, well lit car park. Convenient for the harbourside, visits to We the curious and millennium square. The downside of this is that the price of parking is higher than other most parking in Bristol. I tend to park here for convenience more than anything so happy to pay more for that
One of the better but slightly pricier car parks to go for in the Bristol Centre but tends to fill up quite quick. Try here before going to any of the NCPs as they (while this one isn’t exactly cheap) will have you paying through the nose and the majority of the NCPs around the Centre close somewhat early.
Ignore any negative reviews. This Car park is excellent. Easy to get into (as long as you can drive round bends) and very secure. Well lit, lifts to main plaza and plenty of ticket machines. Only negative is it is expensive - there are cheaper options around, but probably not as convenient as this one.
Easy to find if you are using sat nav, there was also plenty of spaces on a Sunday evening, that may well be because it is so expensive (£6.50 for 2 hours), on the other hand it might have been coz it was sunday - not sure there are many other parking options in Bristol for this area though.
Harbour side of Bristol.great location with plenty of underground parking.reasonable price for Parking cheapest in Bristol.located marina side lovely walk through pubs and restaurants along river.10 to 15 minutes walk into city centre shops. Sr Nicholas Market on route to city worth a visit
Oh boy, try and find another place to park if you can. Very expensive, acutely tight turns inside, especially by the exit machines. When I visited one exit machine was not working and not blocked off which caused untold chaos to all the cars leaving. The call button was not answered either.
Car park is in a very good location with the restaurants and @Bristol being just above ground. The downsides is that the car park can be extremely busy at times, so not always guaranteed a space. Car park is also very pricey, would be much cheaper to park at Cabot Circus and walk over.
Brilliant location close to the centre and harbour side. Looks more like a modern art installation or aliens' transportation than a car park and attracts lots of tourists to take pictures. It looks good on pictures no matter what time of year or day you take them.
Broken and poorly maintained machinery. I was also told a certain price that turned out to be not true and charged extra when I came to leave and told I would receive a fixed fine if I didn’t pay this was an extremely poor service handled by unpleasant people
As the other reviews have said, you WILL ding your alloys getting into this poorly designed car park. The kerbs around the entry ticket machines are too tight, too high, and dark coloured. Probably designed by a cyclist fresh out of university...
Underground, well-lit and clean with direct pedestrian access to and from Millennium Square for very easy access to the city centre. It's also cheaper than the nearby multi-storey. This is my go-to car park when I want to be central.
We visited today to go to the fair. Nice surroundings and features including the nice water feature. Plenty of parking underground and wasn’t too much of a hassle to get in and out. Nearby to other places and plenty of shops etc.
Really easy car park to get to, really easy to park in and is never full. Prices are decent but it's located in an amazing area so prices are definitely worth the convenience of how many things you are close to parking here.
It’s a car park. A place to leave your car. Easy enough to access and well lit, although some of the spaces are a little tight for our, admittedly, quite large car. Fairly expensive but, I guess, par for the course.
£9 for two hours and fifteen minutes!! On a Sunday! This car park is not just a rip off, it's actually ransacking the good folk of Bristol. I almost passed out when the price came up on the screen. AVOID!!!
Good car park. Centrally located. Easy to find and easy entrance and exit. Site is well maintained. Like most central car parks.. its a bit over priced but worth it if you want a safe and central car park.
Expensive parking for overnight stay in nearby hotel. Secure but overpriced Very high kerbs and narrow lanes on entry and exit ramps risks expensive damage to wheels best avoided if you value your wheels.
Really good , modern feeling car park featuring automatic doors and smart lifts ,which is a lifesaver when you are carrying heavy cases etc. Parking rates are very reasonable for a City centre car park.
I was staying in the area and wanted a well lit car park to park in and it did the job. It was quite over priced and very very tight parking space as can be seen in the picture I have submitted.
Very convenient car park for the centre of Bristol and the waterfront. Clean and tidy. Well lit. Plenty of spaces. Decent width on spaces too. However this comes at a slight premium on price.
Nice location but tight fitting to get around with lots of pillars and tight turns. Not too expensive for Bristol either. Same as the above ground one though that's 100m down the road.
Great location for visiting @Bristol, aquarium or watershed area. Car park and lifts nice and clean and feels safe. Spaces are fairly small due to the pillars and gets busy most days.
Hideously expensive. Parked after 6pm for a little over 2 hours and it cost me £9! Wish I'd parked further away and walked. Will not use again, there are cheaper alternatives.
Nice car park in an ideal place for various restaurants, science centre, etc. The car park was clean and tidy with large spaces. When busy you can be in quite a long queue.
Great quality car park ideally placed for We the Curious and other Bristol museums and attractions. Only been during the day, so can’t comment about safety. Average price.
Best place to park if you're visiting the Waterfront! Unless you're visiting the library or around Park St / College Green, in which case park at College Street Car Park!
Extremely convenient car park for Bristol waterfront. Well lit, secure, and the spaces are a good size. Pay on foot, machines accept cards and cash. Expensive though.
It's an alright place, although it has nothing going for it except when there are special events. It's not particularly clean and does not feel safe to walk at night.
Reasonably priced for parking. Needs more elevator access at all exit points to easier to get to parking levels for those in wheelchairs or that are heavily pregnant
Descent sized spaces and nice and cool underground. Felt really central to the places were wanted to go. Probably a little pricey but parking in a city usually is
Excellent car park very tidy and professional with great access to millennium square and central Bristol. Expensive tariff and no all day or after 6 discount.
Brilliant place to park close to the harbour side area of Bristol. Amazing that they have practically hidden all of this underground. Prices are reasonable.
It's too quiet in the city at the moment...this car park isn't cheap, but it takes you to eaay access for we the curious, the harbour side and great eats...
Its a car park there is not a lot to say here, it was cheaper than I expected of a bristol car park and less busy too especially for a tuesday afternoon
Clean car park but so expensive. £3.00 for 1 hour how can they warrant the prices they charge, a machine earns more then a apprentice in a manual job.
Great secure car park very close to river and food courts very clean and tidy but pricey hence 4 stars but for peace of mind best car park in bristol
Very expensive and the spaces are quite small if you have a bigger car. Also there are certain spaces you cannot park in during the week so be aware.
Overpriced, terrible layout, difficult to drive in and poorly signed inside. You'll probably curb your wheel at some point getting in or out too.
Good email customer service, they must get loads of people complaining on prices then realising they parked in Britannia not millennium square!
Very easy to use and handy. We always use this car park for the hippodrome as it's close by and far enough to stretch your legs after a show.
Be careful this is unsafe & unsecured parking. Staff are not helpful. Take my advice and avoid parking here if you wish to keep your car.
Outrageous prices. They’d earn much more if the prices were cheaper during the week for example, also promoting businesses on the way!
Reasonable price. Excellent location. Quite modern but could be marginally better kept - areas felt slightly unclean and/or run down.
Impressive, well located car park. Easily the most modern and cleanest in Bristol. Be warned that it's an expensive one though!
Great place to park if spaces available. We queued for 19 minutes to get in. Wide spaces and secure. Easy walk into town.
Clean, well lit and secure. Left my motorbike here for a couple of nights. Much better than leaving it out on the street
Always use it when going to the theatre, or along the riverside. Well lit, good spaces . Not the cheapest but worth it.
Central and excellent access to riverfront and several attractions such as the aquarium and at.Bristol. Average pricing
Great secure carpark , buggy or wheelchair accessible. Right in the centre . But £3 one hour ! So not a 5 star for me.
Secure parking in a spot on location. You can enjoy your day out and your car is one less thing to worry about …
Really engaging pieces of art work above the car park. Car park is cheap to stay for the day and easy to get too.
Cabot Circus car park is FAR cheaper. I think we were in there for 5 hours? £12!!! I feel like I've been robbed.
Very narrow driveways especially for wider vehicles. The car park supports the height but not the width of vans.
So clean you could eat your dinner off it. So pricey you wouldn't be able to afford your dinner after parking .
Excellent location and good sized bays but no anpr system yet. Not cheap but safe, clean and well laid out
Good sized spaces well lit and monitored parking but a bit more expensive than other car parking near by.
Good well lit carpark, very clean and tidy. Spaces are reasonable size. Could be a bit cheaper though.
Easy to use, not cheap but in the right spot for the harbour. So I reckon it's worth paying the price.
Very convenient as right in the centre. Has had a price increase to park since our last visit though
As far as car parks go it was fine. Looking at other prices in the area it was one of the cheapest
Convenient for tourist. Large open. Get there early say 10 ish before it fills up. Reasonable fee
One of the better car parks in Bristol as its really well lit. Certainly not the cheapest though
Goodness gracious great ball of steel! And there's also an expensive car park and water feature.
Well lit, huge arrows on the floor clearly directing you. Great for Harbourside and restaurants.
Safe and very centre to the harbour area. Easy to drive into it and out. Very expensive though.
Nice bright large spaces...rather expensive but it's worth knowing you and your car's safe
Convenient for city centre and bars/restaurants. Nice if you like car parks! Quite pricey.
Great car park, only place I'll park when going to this part of Bristol, due to location
All car parks should be like this. Well lit spacious car parking and very safe and clean
The staff was very slow and they seemed rushed. Even still the food was above mediocre
This car park feels hidden yet is quite large and extremely convenient for the area.
What can you say about a car park? Very clean, clear markings and reasonably priced
It's a decent car park, good sized spaces for underground and is well maintained.
I like this carpark, very good location to get to anywhere you need in the city
perfect location to park and easy to find not too busy around the local area
Good car park, well lit, feels safe but a bit expensive at £9 for 3 hours.
It's a car park lol. Has lots of parking spaces and easy to pay the fee.
I parked my car. Then I drove it away. Seemed to work ok as a car park.
Not great to navigate in a big car, damaged tyres, and quite expensive
Very expensive but very spacious and convenient, with good wide spaces
Good car park. Good location. Easy manoeuvering. Cost under control.
Pricey but well presented car park with colour coding to each floor.
Spaces are a bit small. A short walk to the bars and restaurants.
Good but quite expensive like most parking in Bristol city centre
Very handy location and pricing reasonable for this day and age.
